I cant begin to tell you how disappointed we are with Star Furnitures customer service in Seaside. We have a seasonal home in Gearhart and thought it would be nice to support a local business when needing new couches for our home. We ordered two couches only to find out 2 1/2 weeks later that they were discontinued and that Star Furniture was unable to fulfill our order. Then we decided to purchase the couches in Portland and bring them down to the coast. We arranged with Star Furniture owners to have a truck meet us at our beach house, help unload the couches and haul the old ones away. We came down to the beach only to find out that the Star Furniture movers were over one hour late (we were first on the list) and we ended up having to move the couches on and out of our house because it started to rain. In my opinion, these owners have no idea what customer service is. Never a sense of urgency to meet our needs or communication when plans changes. It was more trouble than it was worth to try and support this local business. I am not sure how they stay in business with such low customer service expectations.

I was VERY happy with my series of purchases from Star Furniture! Everyone went out of their way to help me, in an informative, non-pushy way. Very refreshing! I have purchased two power love seats, and three power leather recliners from Star Furniture since last August. Delivery was painless, and very professional. All my questions were answered, and all my concerns addressed. I unreservedly recommend Star Furniture, and will definitely use them again.

Kathryn at Star made such a difference in helping us select.furniture for our beach rental. We came in looking for a couch and a chair. She helped us envision creating a comfortable room that (with swivel chairs) enables us to tie in a beach theme with our home on Tillamook head. Very professional, enthusiastic and has a great sense of design. The prices were really reasonable and when I consider all of the help, we got a great value!!
