First Rate! I found the bike of my dreams on yet another search for a used Yamaha Tenere. Theyve been popping up, but either the price or something else was just not working for me. Along came Saturday evening and "I saw it!" I sent off an email to them and since it was the weekend and after-hours, I wasnt expecting a reply till when they opened on "Wednesday!" I just knew there was no way Id get it. However, Harris contacted me and let me know about the bike. He said hed hold it for me till Wednesday as I had a180 mile drive. So, I had a long time to wait till going up there. I posted my potential bike on some Forums and saw jealous replies. One actually said I had to be careful as they heard the place sold branded bikes. I looked at a few others and the ones which were such were clearly marked in the description. Sounds fair to me. Ive gone longer distances for cars found on Craigslist and low and behold, the poster had forgotten to mention it was on branded title. Here, they tell you what you are getting. In this case, Harris works with dealerships and this bike hed just gotten from a Harley Dealer as the previous owner traded a 2014 with 1412 miles on it for a new Harley. His loss my gain! Crazy good deal as it came with Yamaha panniers and a full additional year of extended warranty. The bike was also registered till May of 2018 and that also saved funds. I was expecting to get a used 2012/13 for about the same as I paid for this 2014 model with all the benes. Heck, the tires still look new. Yes, I am decidedly happy with the Motorcycle Warehouse!!! Comes with my highest recommendation!!!

Every once in while, you stop into - lets say a gun shop or a computer store or a local mechanics (4-wheel) shop and the man in charge is not only extremely knowledgeable, but is also (perhaps even more importantly) genuine and down to work with you in order to find the right product or service to get you back to your normal lifes routines. And you leave feeling like you just got great service and an amazing product - and that youve extended your Portland network of professional family members, with a true man of integrity... and your purchase, as well as all of your follow-up visits prove that his (Harris, in this case) reputation is so impeccable... because thats just him; thats just how he does business! Well, you should know that: (1) I have no affiliations with Harris (the owner) & the rad mechanics that he employs @ Motorcycle Warehouse (just off 82nd & the Clack Mall), (2) I recently bought my 3rd bike here, (3) the experience (from start to finish, which involved quite a bit of them listening, understanding, and giving me greatly valued information & suggestions) was far beyond what I hoped for in the preceding reference (Harris and his boyz eFFin RoCk!!! from newbies to experienced riders, if they dont have something for ya (& I cant imagine they dont) - theyll just tell ya & let you know when your bike comes on their lot! I submit a "google-STAR" rating!!! <--which means, a "1" with a hundred zeros after it, rating #! :) Thanks Harris & the Crew... between Philly, Oahu, Cali & Oregon - Ive NEVER experienced Riding Like This!!! Big Ups, boyz!!! ~sean g, loyal customer 4life.

Run by Harris, along with an awesome team, this is the place you want to go if you need a new motorcycle, or get them serviced. My friends and I bought three motorcycles during the last couple of weeks- A 650 -star Yamaha silverado, Honda Shadow, and Honda Hawk at great prices. These guys are really honest, helpful and professional. I went to pick up my silverado and Harris told me that he discovered a leak in the valve cover, and immediately ordered the part.. Asked me to swing by in a couple of days. Even though the Yamaha dealer messed up the order, instead of giving me any excuse (that any other mechanic/dealer would have given me), Harris drove to the dealership, got the gasket, and had the bike ready at the committed date and time. Not to mention the free bike wash and oil and filter change. He also put the passenger foot rests for free on it. I am really impressed by the quality of service and their honesty.

Now that the big shops are closing up their doors, there is a great place to get fantastic service & a legitimate "motorcycle shop" experience. I messed up my KLR tire and a quick phone call and the owner (Harris?) answered on the second ring. When I arrived to the shop I found it to have a decent amount of bikes on the show floor. There was plenty of mechandise on the shelves. He made quick work of repairing my front tire, new HD tube was purchased, a quick balance and a handshake. You got that right, a handshake from the owner. This is where Ill be taking my bike (and wallet) from now on. I couldnt be more pleased to find this shop in my SE neighborhood. The guy knows his Dual Sports too. Check out his cool old KLR Tengai model in back. Thanks again. ps I ride a 2009 Kaw KLR 650. I am not affiliated, dont know the guy but wanted to pass this experience to other ADV riders who need to find a great shop.

Great experience! They are down to earth and very knowledgeable on their inventory and bikes in general. No pressure what so ever and you can tell they love cycles. Their prices are very competitive on anything you see on CL and far better than any dealer. The bike I was very interested in had a dead battery (someone left the key on ) and they installed a new one right there on the spot. I then noted the front brake pulsated and just like that they replaced the front rotor and now it stops excellent. I bought a beautiful 2005 Vulcan 800 and I love it. Would I go back? Absolutely and that is where I would go to start if I were looking for a new bike. Vic

I should give them zero stars! Went in with CASH for a specific bike...it wouldnt start. Bad gas, he drained the tank, charged the battery & then flooded it so it couldnt start. So called sales guy was VERY unhelpful, wasnt willing to make sure the customer was happy, etc. Very unhappy with them. They could of been up $2000 cash but couldnt get the bike running. Tried looking at another bike that "sat for 2 months" and when that one finally started, smoke pouring out of the pipes & a clanking noise was apparent, that bike was almost brand new too. Sorry for their loss, purchased a bike somewhere else that day.

I am new to the Northwest so was looking for a shop to take my dirt bikes to. After other repair shops in the area quoted me more than $400 to fix an issue with my XT350, I called Motorcycle Warehouse. Harris (<---the main guy at the front desk) was very nice and straight forward. He estimated $200 to fix the issue. My final bill was $115 even after I forgot a gasket they had to order for me to finish the repair. That was very honest on their part. These are the guys you want to deal with in Portland! The one downside is the shop is only open Wednesday through Saturday, but they are worth the wait.
