I know I have no information on my profile. I only joined Google+ for the sole purpose of writing a review about Santa Rosa Powersports. I went in on Saturday, June 2nd. I saw online that they had the exact bike I was looking for : a 2008 Honda CBR 600 RR. I called up Chad and told him I wanted that bike but I wouldnt be able to make it up to Santa Rosa for a few hours. He said no problem and said he was going to put a sold sign on the bike for me. I drove up and the bike looked even more spectacular than the photos I saw of it online. And it sounded HEAVENLY. I was immediately in love with the bike. Chad sold me that bike in 10 minutes. While waiting for the transaction to be completed, my husband (who had just a Yamaha R1 from a private seller earlier in the day) needed some gear. They gave him a discount on all the items he needed because I had purchase a bike that day. Aside from the quickness of the sale and discounts given to my husband, I really liked the attitude of all the people that work at SRP. Being a female in a male dominated sport/activity, you usually get a lot of sarcasm and condescending attitudes. But not these guys. They took me as seriously as anyone else. The ride home was flawless (except for all the morons on the road that never look for us). The bike has absolutely no issues. I took it to another bike shop to get it inspected just to make sure. I am really happy with my purchase and my husband and I are having a wonderful time riding our bikes together. Oh I forgot one thing...I left my very expensive and most favorite sunglasses in the entire world at the dealership in my excitement to get on my new bike. I called Chad and he offered to mail them to me for free. I got them next day packaged correctly and in perfect condition. Thanks, Chad and thanks Santa Rosa Powersports.

Hay guys how is it going ? My experience at Santa Rosa PowerSports was the best ! We went down to Monterey Bay for three days on a short vacation. Cynthia,my fiancee had a Yamaha 250 v Star And I had a Yamaha 650 v Star. We had been talking to Chad and Brian over the phone about trading in the 250 for a bigger bike for Cynthia. The 250 was a good bike for her because she was a beginner. But the trip down there ended up being a hard experience for her because the bike was to small for such a long ride. On our way down we stopped off at Santa Rosa PowerSports and talked to the guys about trading in and getting a bigger bike for her. They where very helpful in the trade in and keeping in touch every day that we where down there. Things just where not working out on my part as far as knowing what I wanted and having the right funds for the time. We where on our way back home and Chad had called and said that they would keep looking and keep us informed. We decided to stop by on our way back home and see them. Chad then asked is there anything wrong with the 950 v Star. At the time I wanted an 1100 or 1300 v Star and my money just wasnt right at that time. He showed me pictures of the 950 and right away after seeing this bike I knew what I wanted. Cynthia got my 650 and I got the 950 4 days after returning home from our trip. Now we are ready for the Highway and longer trips to anywhere! These guys are GREAT! Chad, Brian, and Mike are the BEST! I will be going to them in the future for all my two wheel (or four) needs. THANK YOU GUYS for making our experience PERFECT!! Louis and Cynthia (Eureka, CA.)

Unfortunately, I experienced a situation similar to Dan Thompson. Santa Rosa was a drive for me as well, though more like 100 miles roundtrip. I called ahead and was told that the bike I was looking at was in good condition. When I got there, I found that the fuel line was cracked (leaking fuel all over the engine), the master cylinder brake reservoir was leaking, and the chain was loose. I can do work myself so thats what I did, but what about people who are less handy? Fuel leaking all over a hot engine? The brakes soon (about a week later) losing pressure? The drive chain possibly coming off? What was even better was when they tried charging me 200-odd dollars for the work they did giving it a "safety inspection". Biggest joke Ive ever heard and I told them that. If you know what youre doing, come skeptical and wary... maybe youll find a decent value. But if you dont, these guys will let you ride off with a blatant fire hazard, brakes that will soon fail, and a slipping chain. WIth a smile on their faces and your $200 in their hand.

I first wrote this review in anger as I drove the long, 100 mile, drive back home. Ive had some time to cool off and wanted to leave some more level headed feedback. Chad (Im sorry, but I have to use your name because the experience was so bad I feel the need to warn others) and I briefly talked on the phone about a used CBR they were selling and I explained that I was coming from 100 miles away so we agreed on a small discount to help sweeten the deal. I was all ready to buy it, helmet in hand... So I go to look at the bike, which I saw pictures of online and, to my surprise, the bike had been dropped on the side which was NOT in the photographs. There was no mention of the damage on craigslist, or on their site. No mention of the damage on the phone. I was misled and tricked into driving 200 miles round trip. He offered to take off another 100, for what was easily 1500 in damages. What kind of human being do you have to be to think this behavior is ok? Not one I would ever give a penny to nor one I would ever want to do business with.

100% recommended! Anyone looking to buy a new or used bike should talk to Todd or Chad immediately. I was looking for a GSX-R 1000 for the last year and they ended my search. The 2008 had only 1800 miles on it, along with some nice upgrades including a KR tuned exaust system. Needless to say, Todd, Chad, and company know what they are looking for when they represent a new or used buyer and have your best interest. After the transaction was complete they continued to serve me by hooking me up with a new helmet, gloves, and other gear. A couple weeks later I noticed a fork seal was leaking and when I took it in to get it repaired, they promptly and appropriately took care of me and the bike. Less than a day and a half later I was back in business. I cant stress enough how great these guys are and how great the crew is at Santa Rosa Powersports. I will continue to recommend friends and fellow riders to SRP with confidence that they will be taken care of like I was. And if they dont, Ill be calling Chad personally and cracking skulls! Steven
