I literally spend $320.00 on a tune up and parts there. The bike cost $400.00. When I brought the bike back because they didnt fix the original problem and was upset, rightfully, one of their "best" techs took a hammer and broke my frame to the point it snapped the next day, and I pieced it all together after giving it some thought. I reported that employee to the store manager and the chain owner, and theyll never see my business again. This occurred after about sixth months of taking my bike there for repairs. I paid them to rip me off, literally? Shady. The tech that broke my bike, because I guess he felt justified in breaking it, since I was upset they didnt fix what I originally brought it in for, most likely still works there. Its a risk taking your bike there for repairs, where they will act out or vengeful spite, which actually isnt justified, because the customer is supposed to always be right, and in this case I definitely was. The total loss of taking my bike there was $320.00 for initial repairs and parts, + $400.00 for a new bike, equaling $720.00 out of pocket. Which is absurd and not right. This location was warned about Gang Stalking before they destroyed one of my old bikes.

I went to this local Bike Gallery on a rainy Saturday afternoon looking to test ride some bikes while making my mind on which one to buy. It was pretty quiet in the store, and right as I walked up to the store counter, Matt asked if I needed any help and after I gave him an idea of what kind of bike I was looking for he immediately started showing me some bikes that fit my criteria and budget. After finding the one I thought would suit me best, he got me set up on the bike trainer and adjusted the bike to fit me just right so I got the best test ride. I ended up preferring a different bike but he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions and explain in detail. Great experience, I look forward to my next visit.

Cool people, Good Service. I was riding back from the Johnson Creek trail today and my front tire was a bit flat. I stopped in to see if I could use a pump. Kaia came over to help me. She said it was cool to use the pump and I asked her about an issue I was having with the bike. She promptly put it up on the stand and suggested the source and the fix. I was contemplating pulling off my useless front derailer. She agreed and promptly pulled if off for free. I didnt buy anything today but considering it is a franchise shop the people there were very cool and helpful. I left with full tires, no derailer problems and restored faith in humanity.

I brought a friends bike in for a possible tune-up because I was heading to the coast for a few days for a bike ride. I was told that the bike wasnt in good enough shape for the ride, and was given a very honest response that it basically wasnt worth spending the money to fix the bike. I was really impressed with this because they could have easily done a tune up, lots of repairs and sent me out the door. In addition, they helped connect me to a few shops around town that rented bikes, so I eventually got a great deal over at City Bikes Co-op. Many thanks to Mike and Jordan for your help on my journey to the coast. Had an awesome time.

This review is long overdue, I love the Bike Gallery! First, they sold me a great bike, and later recovered it for me after it got stolen. The employees are always friendly and offer good advice. The mechanics are excellent and prices are fair. They stock a strong selection of accessories, so I can find anything I need with a quick trip in. I really like the apparel selection, as they have a good mix of options for women and carry a variety of sizes. Size small might be common, but this is my go to place for new jackets/tights/shorts, as I always have more than one option to choose from.

I recently moved to PDX and have been to nearly every bike shop in town looking to soup up my old 80s road bike. Most stores seem to have a serious ego problem, but not here. Two employees, one girl name Tess and I dont remember the guys name, were VERY helpful. Gave me advice on choosing parts and even measured me for the right sized handlebars without pressuring me to buy anything (at closing time no less). I encountered a rude employee at the Bike Gallery downtown, but this location was great. Nice work guys/girls!

I went in to get a part to mount my saddle to my bike post. They said they needed to make a measurement of the bike post so I drove home and brought the post with me. When I got back they said they didnt have any parts in stock that could possibly work and did not even bother taking a measurement. An employee had a part that could have worked. I bought it with no receipt and now cant return it. If you buy anything from them make sure you get a receipt and do not buy it from an employee, buy it through the store.

Several people told me that this shop was "overpriced" or "a rich persons bike shop". I saw no indication of this. The folks there are not snobby, theyre very nice, and the bike I bought there was a little less than the msrp. Sure, theyll try to sell you stuff, but thats true with any shop. If youre looking for a bike from Trek, theyve got a ton.

I went in to get some lights for my bike. Matt was so helpful and explained all of my options without pressuring me into one. I got the best fit for me based on all of the information. I will definitely go back when I need something else for my bike. I loved not feeling out of place because Im not a super hard core bike rider.

I purchased a Cannondale bicycle & bike rack & small U-lock with cable...Later purchased a kick stand...The young man that helped me with my purchase listened to what I wanted in a bicycle...I got the light weight & disk brake bicycle I wanted at the price I wanted.. So happy with my choice....

Wandered in for a set of brake pads. Had a good chat with a mechanic about break issues Ive been having. Picked up some accessories for my bike that were on sale. Staff were great. Good selection of stuff for reasonable prices. Open on Sunday ;)

I needed a hand with some training wheels for my daughters bike, Tess was awesome. She could have told me I had nectarine residue all over my facial scruff but, she saved the day;) a bit steep in price but worth the knowledge/service
