This is an amazing store and we cant say enough how good it has been for our family to have this store come in! We only hope they can stir up more business in that terrible, dying Lake Oswego shopping center… It will be a very sad day if this store can’t stay in business! Let me bullet-point what I’m about to say: - Produce and products more fresh than Market of Choice, Trader Joes, Safeway, etc. - Most of their products are much cheaper than Market of Choice, Trader Joes, Safeway, and even Walmart. - They are by far more affordable than New Seasons, Whole Foods, Lamb’s, and Zupan’s. - Their selection has one of almost anything you might need. - The layout is stripped down and fresh for a reason. - You should make this your first stop for groceries. Our family has started saving over $50 a week by adjusting our shopping from Market of Choice/Safeway/Walmart to getting most of our produce and other frozen foods from 365 and only getting what we need from Market of Choice! The produce is amazing, fresh, often organic, and very affordable! There are sales and member perks that save you even more. Where can you find a gala apple for $.40 each!? Did I mention that this is organic? You wouldn’t see that at Walmart! Certainly not at Trader Joes! You can’t even get a conventional banana for that price from most stores! We got cantaloupe for $2 each! Really? Cmon - That is unheard of! They are often $.60/pound, on the cheap end – this is HUGE savings. I used to get frustrated at all the organic food in the stores around here because it’s hard to find a good affordable alternative, but not anymore, now that we have 365! The frozen chicken patties (we have kids) are the best I’ve ever seen! They are a large, they are not foamy chicken fluff, they taste great – not just to the kids… and they are $2 right now – that’s $5 cheaper than the Whole Foods flagship store! Finally, we have NEVER had to return a product for spoilage. We have with Market of Choice and Safeway and we stopped shopping at Trader Joes because this had become such a common occurrence – along with all their food recalls – that they could no longer be trusted. With those benefits, it is definitely worth the cleaner, stripped down layout. It’s even nice not to have to choose between 5 different kinds of...(insert item here… beans, milk, etc). You may not be able to shop for your whole list here – but you will find most of it – and that will save you tons. Who cares if the floor is concrete rather than faux hardwood! Who cares if the columns aren’t wrapped in cedar and it doesn’t look like a cozy, over crowded boutique. It’s clean, fresh, and mostly organic; friendly, affordable, and over-all just right. You would be amiss not to shop here.

I love this store, I wish the Whole Foods locations would adopt this style as well. Smaller store with fewer items but a good assortment of products with great pricing. Most produce is priced by the piece instead of by the pound, same for the salad and hot bar which is a flat price for all you can fit in your container. For the few items sold by the pound you can preweigh and take the ticket to the check out for fewer surprises at check out. No butcher counter, bakery, or other store staffed food options for a quick lunch like you see in Whole foods. There are kiosks where you can order hot dogs, healthy bowl, or pizza. Next burger for vegan options and a juice bar are at the front to offer plenty of options.

It took me a couple times to really figure out if I liked this place. Its different. You feel it the second you walk in. At first I was trying to pull out my anti-hipster defenses and do my best to slam the obvious attempts from top to bottom to try to be cool. Its so blunt that it hurts at first. From the little branded wording everywhere down to the thought behind every items hand placed grocery item. BUT... by the 8,9,10th time I found myself heading there, I had to admit... this aint bad. Incredible quality, decent selection and not the absolute worst prices you might expect. It feels special... it tastes special and it keeps me coming back... so how can I slam that?

We were so excited about 365 opening up just down the street from us. After the opening and trying to find the positives in the new concept we have been left sorely disappointed. The salad bar appears to be stocked with packaged vegetables. There are no fresh meats, all packaged. They are lacking some of our local favorite brands, i.e. Tillamook. The wine selection is few and far between and over priced. And, its a little disappointing to see all the plastic containers for hot foods and salad bar, etc... The bottom line is that I have never purchased anything at 365 that has warranted more than the "express" lane while I fill up my cart at other stores in town.

Its a pared-down, warehouse version of the usual Whole Foods, but thats okay by me. No fuss, no muss. Prices are pretty good, still a good selection of meats, vegetables, cheeses, etc. You wont find fancy or independent cheeses or meats here - mainly everything is pre-packaged and the Whole Foods brand, although there are some alternate brands. It also has a veggie burger restaurant in it that is pretty good for vegetarian food. Additionally, it does have a frozen food section, a packaged food section, a wine section, and a small section of imported baked goods from their regular Whole Foods stores.

If this is supposed to be the low price version of Whole Foods, it only drives home how crazy expensive the mothership really is. 365 is not cheap. Supposedly 365 is positioned to go head-to-head with Trader Joes but they are not offering anything that can prize me away from TJs. My three stars are a benefit-of-the-doubt rating, its a nice clean layout, wide aisles, and an in-store juice bar and vegan burger joint - but I am not going to go out of my way to go here, nor will I eschew Whole Foods for some higher-end items like cut-to-order deli meats, butchery items (not pre-packaged), and fish (same).

Its different ... to say the least. TJs invented the concept and for this region at least heres the first would be copy cat. Eclectic mix of stuff that makes even less overall sense than TJs. Vast space with low shelving and cabinets ...a grocery idea still in search of an identity and dare I say it, an audience. Staffing? Well its PDX trying to differentiate itself from whats already "different". Kudos to staff being attentive and to WF for trying ... and if all else fails for you between the endives and the soap then resort to the far away wine racks ... youll be bound to find something palatable.
