On 12/30/2016, my husband and I purchased the black Verona table and two benches during their 50% off furniture sale. At the time, they had the benches in stock but needed to order the table. We agreed that we would wait for the table to come in and buy/pick-up everything at once. I called in February (2 months later) to ask if the table had come yet and what the holdup was. They said it hadnt come yet but the benches were still in back with our name on them. A month later in March, I called back. This time, the benches had been sold out from under us and still no table. By now, the benches (in black) were no longer available so Euclide and Andy did their best to negotiate with other stores to trade for their stock - no such luck. Long story short, Euclide and Andy turned this bad experience into the best customer service experience Ive ever had! TAKE NOTE OTHER BUSINESSES; THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS... 1. They offered for me to find another set I liked online and they would price match the deal. I opted to stick with the Verona style but switch colors from black to mahogany. 2. When I called in February, they were having a 60% off furniture sale and said they would honor that for my inconvenience (an extra 10% off)! 3. They honored a 15% off coupon we were planning to use but had expired by the time the dust settled. This was in addition to #2 above! 4. They saw that I was eyeballing some tufted dining chairs to put at the ends of the table so they offered me 2 at practically cost!!! Not only did they make it right, they went well above and beyond to make us happy! Throughout the predicament, I was treated with kindness and respect! I know right, who does that anymore?! I am also happy to report that weve had the set for 2 months now and we couldnt be happier with the quality. Very solid, sturdy, and was easy to put together. Thank you World Market, especially Andy and Euclide, for your exemplary customer service and quality products! We are customers for life!

We bought a dining set from the store in Keizer, Oregon last Saturday. We picked it up at 9:45 am so that we could drive over to our house at the Oregon Coast (approximately 60 miles or 1 hour 25 minutes away). We obviously needed to use our pick-up to haul the dining set as it was too large for any regular car. We had made a special trip to Keizer just to pick up this set. When we were almost to our house, the store manager, Robyn, called to let us know that they had forgotten to load the base of the table in our truck. This meant that we had to return to the store in order to get the base so that we could use our dining set. Not only did this cost over $90 in gas, but also over 4 hours of time. We were on a short time frame and this company wasted our time. When we asked Robyn, the manager, what she was going to do to compensate us for the wasted time and money (expecting a free chair or two, or free delivery of the base), she offered nothing more than a $20 gift card claiming that "that would be a big red flag to corporate." This meant that we not only purchased a $1300 dining set from the store, but we spent an additional $90 in gas and 4 hours of much-needed time. When we finally did get to the store to pick up the base of the table that the employees had failed to load the first time, the manager did not even come out to apologize or offer any additonal compensation to keep our business. We are very disappointed from this experience because we have been longtime customers, and will now be questioning whether to revisit the store if this is how "corporate" responds to customer service problems. In an age of social media, businesses cannot afford to be this relaxed with keeping the customer satisfied.

We recently purchased a secretary desk from the Keizer Station World Market. When we got it home and put together, we found that the world was fractured near a hinge. So we spoke with one of the managers, Jen, about replacing it, which she was able to do the same day. We didnt get the new one pulled out until the next day, and, lo and behold, we found this one not only had a section separating from the main body of the desk, but also had a chip on the facade. Relatively frustrated at this point from the back and forth, as well as the constant heavy lifting, we were helped by another manager, Andrea, who not only got us a new desk the same evening, but also let us pull it out of the packing in store to double check everything and compensated for our trouble by selling it to us at what I can only imagined had to be close to at-cost. Both managers were very apologetic and very helpful. While World Market tends to have terrible customer service if you call corporate, we found the our local WM has a higher bar for their performance, and were glad to shop there anytime.

We went here to find "Christmas Crackers" for my stepmom, who is from England. Unfortunately, we were told theyd just sold their last crackers early that afternoon. I was disappointed about the crackers, but amazed by all the items the store had from all over the world. So my husband and I spent a good 45 mins wandering through the store. Suddenly the clerk wed been talking to earlier showed up and she had the box of crackers. The other people ended up not taking them and she had searched the entire store to locate us and give us box of crackers! That is what I call real dedication to customer service. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for products from another part of the world. They have a great selection and a truly dedicated staff.

I was looking for a specific kind of sparkling wine for my daughters wedding and wasnt having any luck. I decided to stop by world market at the keizer station. I went straight to the wine section and was warmly greeted by a young man named Alex. He didnt have what I wanted in stock but ordered what I wanted and called me when my order came in just like he said he would. He wasnt working the day I picked it up but made sure the staff that was there knew I was coming in. I will shop here more often based on my awesome experience. Thanks Alex for all your help! The mimosa bar at the wedding was a big hit thanks to you!

Really love this store, and my GF does even more so. This place really knows how to merchandise and has a very compelling selection. Customer service is very friendly and accommodating. When you find items on sale or clearance, its a good value. The regular priced merchandise is usually worth it, as most of the products are very unique and attractive. This place is first class. A perfect place to go if you need to find a gift for somebody. Theres no way you would not find something suitable. Its that good.

The best part of World Market is that they actively promote the location of origin of their merchandise. Nowadays, most of these types of home decor and seasonal decorations are all Chinese made, disguised to look like local handcrafts. Here you can find similar items made in India, Mexico and other developing nations. Whether or not they are mass produced or hand crafted is a question left unanswered. The loyalty rewards program often sends out coupons and specials that do help.
