I chose this company based on the raving reviews but I was still dreading going in to look at mattresses. I am 28 years old and I’ve never had to buy a new mattress, I have had the same mattress that my parents purchased for me when I was 16 years old (ick!). Needless to say, I was dreading the potential “Car sales-man pressured commission” situation and just wanted to get an idea of the type of mattress me and my husband were looking for. I felt instant relief when I walked into the store and was greeted “Hi there, welcome in.”, but my husband and I were left alone for a couple of minutes while we started feeling around on beds to see what we were looking for. When the nice gentleman came over, he just asked if we had any idea what we were looking for, explained a few of the bed types they had and explained their return policy, how they’re not paid on commission, and a few other helpful tips – all and all, this only took 3 minutes or so and it was truly helpful information that was good to know. He then left us alone to test out beds and get an idea of what we were looking for. It was a breath of fresh air to not be hounded by a sales person awkwardly standing over you test out beds or continue to keep “checking in” and bothering you. I couldn’t have been more pleased! We found an amazing mattress that we both liked, then compared prices via phone to 5 local companies and online as well – nothing was cheaper! We bought the mattress (went from a Queen to a King), so we had a new bed frame as well and it was a very short head board. We opted for a VERY VERY low profile “box spring”, which is actually a Bunkie board (essentially plywood wrapped in material) to ensure the mattress wasn’t too tall and covering half the decorative head board. We had a discount since the Bunkie board is much cheaper than a box spring and received several ‘free items’ to make up for the cost savings, it was very nice! After the mattress arrived, it was a tad shorter than I had measured and there was a gap between the headboard and mattress (things could easily fall behind the bed), I tried to see if I could make it work for a few weeks and then decided to call them and ask if we could return or exchange. They said no problem and would only adjust the cost of how much more the box spring is than the Bunkie board. It was a piece of cake and only costs $65 more to exchange, we also wanted another waterproof mattress cover and they threw that in for free. The owners are so pleasant to work with and truly seem to care about your comfort and happiness. I was beyond pleased with how easy the entire process was and the cost savings. I would recommend anyone to visit Mattress Mega Store if they’re needing a new mattress!! :-)

I waited to do a review until I had had the set a while and here I am about to go back for a set for my daughter and thought I would put in the review. I LOVED my shopping experience. We were about to move into our new house and things were just crazy. I had to get a new set at the last min. which was not in the budget after buying a new house. I went here after reading great reviews that the owner personally replied to and loved that he cared enough about his customers to do so. Anyway long story short we had mold on a 3 year old memory mattress we got at Costco. I guess that is a common thing and was shocked! The sales man, sorry I cant remember his name but adored him (older man with several daughters and has worked in the industry 20 years or so). He helped me find a set, answered my questions AND gave me an education on my specific needs. I thought I had done my research but was more than pleased that the reviews exceeded their awesomeness! We purchased a mattress from the Milwaukie store. The sale person there was extremely friendly and helpful. Never felt pressured into upgrading for making sure we bought one from him. The mattress turn out to be the right mattress for us and we needed to exchange it. The mattress we got was much more expensive than all of the other mattresses at the store so we were not sure how that was going to work. We had to go to the Hillsboro store and work with Russ who handles these things. Russ has got to be one of the nicest guys every. He work with us and in the end we got a mattress we love that was less than what we had originally paid and still felt we got a very fair deal with store credits and everything. Highly recommend them.

Having a totally awesome buying experience. I bought a memory foam mattress and its not working perfectly and they are so helpful and an incredible exchange policy. if it does not work out, next week they will take it back and give me another mattress. of course, mine is in perfect condition, non smoking home, in a complete cover. Easy , easy to work with, and I love the chair I bought. Please take their advice about beds, and try the pillows!! I could not be happier knowing the staff is concerned about my sleep. fast delivery, no charge. SO A YEAR LATER,THE BED IS PERFECT, THEY GAVE ME A MEMORY FOAM PILLOW THAT DAY AND ITS WONDERFUL! BUY THE PILLOW

I walked in hoping for a hassle free experience just as advertised thinking I would still probably get haggled out the store in minutes with a headache. HOWEVER this did not happen! I walked in with my app on my phone with some prices and mattresses in mind. The friendly staff gave me ZERO haggle and fit me into a bed that was exactly what I was looking for! BEST YET they made sure they gave me a better price than the big box stores online! Top it off with free deliver and a solid warranty that says I made the right choice! Bought our mattress from these guys about a yr an a half ago. They were awesome. But my mattress is starting to not be so comfortable, lumpy and sagging. So I went in and talked to one of the guys. They will take it back, fix it up. Cool. Only thing is, my mattress now isnt perfectly clean. Stains ect. They wont take it back. "Pay for it to be cleaned professionally and then we can get it fixed for you". Looks like Im stuck with a lumpy mattress that I paid alot of money on it. Stains happen. Grrrr. Next time Ill go somewhere else

We bought a king adjustable bed....the salesman was extremely knowledgable about the inner workings of the mattress, and found the best fit for us...after a month and a half we decided our mattress was too firm but they exchanged it right away for us...the employees in the store are super friendly as well..if your buying a bed check other places first mattress mega store in Hillsboro beat all the prices we found everywhere else!!

I would love to write a totally long and awesome review, but no one would read the whole thing. Lets just say that i put stuff on layaway. 2 months later i bought the bunk bed for the kids, and they brought it home and assembled it for me for 20 or 30$ and kept the other half on layaway. Im now getting another part delivered 3 months after that. And i still have another part on layaway. The layaway program is grrrreat.
