Weve bought several appliances from Nielsens recently. Our wash/dryer wouldnt fit as our builder designed it to. The delivery gentlemen not only took extra precautions getting the appliances in, they also made measurements and recommendation as to facilitate the changes needed for the installation. Then they came back out on their dime to finish the install. I couldnt have been happier with the entire transaction. Our refrigerator went out yesterday in our rental. I called them this morning with the measurements on the current fridge and they gave me a couple models to look at on their website. I called them back with the model number of what we were looking at and they are currently making an after-hours delivery/set-up for us. Talk about a company whos looking after a consumer. After-hours delivery? Show me one box store whod do that for the community they serve. + 1 for small businesses. Thank you so much Nielson!!

We bought our Whirlpool refrigerator at Nielsen Appliance in 2007. Today I called and asked about getting replacement vegetable/crisper bins for it. With the serial number they were able to look up the parts I needed, but then came the news of the price. "It looks like it will cost $64 per bin, let me see what the shipping will be ..." Needing two of these pricey bins, I started to worry. "You know, sometimes we keep stuff like this from the used fridges that come in. Let me see if we have something in the back!" They did! She had me bring one of the broken bins down to check the size. They were perfect! She only charged me $20 a piece for them. We are so glad to have a local appliance store that values their customers! To their helpful staff, thank you so much!
