I had read positive reviews on Yelp and went there without considering others as I wanted a vendor I could trust for the long term. The salespeople were ready and available, presenting a variety of options. I was less than impressed, however, with the backup materials and pricing I received in the store, and in follow up inquiry. I believe the cost was comparable to what I would get at another specialty store, and perhaps a tad bit higher than the box stores. Quick, speedy and efficient delivery. Purchased an extended service contract and hoping they continue with the same readiness and efficiency.

Our experience with Galvins was altogether positive. Steve McDonald, our sales rep was knowledgeable, honest and, entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed dealing with him. Alex and his helper showed up promptly on the appointed date and time for installation and were as speedy as they were efficient. AND . . . were pleased with our Bosch dishwasher: almost eerily quiet and does a yeomans job of scrubbing dishes, pots, and pans to a super-clean finish. - Way to go Galvins!

Cant emphasize enough how great Mark and everyone at Galvin Appliance was. We had a tricky stacked washer/dryer installation in a VERY tight closet, but they had the right replacement and were able to install it within 2 days, which was great since the laundry piles up fast. Extremely professional, fair, and knew their stuff. By far the best appliance shop Ive dealt with, and how great to deal with people who take pride in what they do!

Galvin gave me just what is missing from the big box stores--a knowledgeable salesperson who knows the stock. I got great advice on what dishwasher and range would suit my cooking style. You could search online, but buying an appliance without ever touching the controls and opening the doors is quite a leap of faith. At Galvin, I was also able to see the models judge them in person, a lot stronger position for making an important purchase.

Local store. They can order what you want if they dont have it. Prices slightly higher than the big box stores or mega-appliance dealers, but you have someone to talk to (who is competent and available), and not just the salesman of the day. I think that the personal service makes the slightly higher price worthwhile. They were good about arranging delivery, installation and haul-away (on a combination microwave/oven).

Ive had a good experience here in the past but I was standing around very obviously looking at washers while two salespeople were helping others and a third was busy with paperwork... or so I thought. 30 minutes later a couple walks in and he got up immediately and started selling them a washer. What the hell? You think I was just looking at washers for my own entertainment? Ill take my $800 elsewhere I guess...

My parents purchased all our appliances at Galvin, which is why it is a household word, and is the reason why I also buy at Galvin. The salespeople are trustworthy and knowledgeable, and I know I have someone to turn to if I have any problem They also have excellent technicians who do the installations. I need to buy a new oven, and guess where i am going. Galvin, of course!

Great place. Sales people are knowledgeable and friendly. They are very helpful. It didnt take long to get the refrigerator we needed as the doors to our house are narrow and they knew what would fit. Fast delivery. The delivery guys were great too. I really like Gavin Appliance. I have purchased a number of things from them over the years. They have worked hard to take care of me. My last washing machine failed after only 4.5 years. I felt they made a significant effort to remedy the situation and they did it quickly. I would not expect to get that kind of service from a big box store.
