Worst experience ever!!! Walked in to buy a bike, seemed like there were two people working there (but who knows, they seem to try extra hard to avoid being recognized as an employee). After 10 min. of just standing there, some half-baked kid finally made eye-contact and I had to flag him down. When I told him I was interested in buying a bike and didnt know much about them, he just pointed to the back where they were and walked off to go play on his iphone outside. This scenario repeated itself several times as I was trying to get some help, with little interest from workers. Other dude was on the computer the whole time checking his gmail. Finally, I just had to give up and left with nothing but greasy hands and real bitter taste.

Yesterday I took my "chrome pony" to the Corvallis Bicycle Collective. No rotation, not much happening. Sad. Customers are greeted with a (smile and) "What brings you here today?" Matthew knew how to fix the problem almost instantly! Sure enough it was the shaft and bearings and the case which held them. All deteriorated. With expertise skill, my bike is now functioning again, thanks to the professional service AND the inventory on hand!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Grateful to be on the road again!!

Great regular volunteers and the expert volunteers that staff the collective are particularly knowledgeable and willing/able to share their wisdom to our benefit. Well sorted parts bins, ample workstations, and pricing that supports everyone getting on a reliable set of two wheels and/or keeping theirs well tuned.

Helpful folks, mostly its just awesome to have a space to work on my bike and have access to knowledge, tools, and random screws/washers/etc. I just dont have at home. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to do their own repairs or learn more about their bike and how to care for it.

This is a wonderful asset for the city of Corvallis. The folks at the Coop were incredibly helpful. I was able to rebuild my bicycle with their expert help and great resources they provided. And it is a lot of fun interacting with other folks working on their bicycles.

Spent an afternoon there tuning up my bike. They have all the tools you need to service your bike and enough used parts youll likely find what you need. The volunteers are there to help you learn, so dont be afraid to ask for help!

The manager is super friendly and knowledgeable about bike repairs. They have a great selection of bikes to build and plenty of room to fix a bike. Even when theres a lot of people. It feels like a cool social hour.

I started volunteering there fixing up bikes. Despite my rustiness, they are patient with me. Its a great community service, not to mention a gentle way to ease me back into cycling after too long an absence.

I had a great experience today with a flat tire on my bike on my commute, and being guided kindly through the process of repairing it myself at this shop. I felt empowered -- and it was donation-basis!!

They found me a bike and worked overtime to fix it up for no extra pay. And also they were willing to add more to the bike another day for free.
