My husband and I cash purchased a new Sportsman and it was due for the 100 hour warranty service. We dropped it off on a Monday afternoon and made sure it was ok to pick it up on Friday as we dont have a place to keep the trailer and have to work extra hours during the week in order to get off and get their before they close as we live two hours away. We asked if the 4 days would be long enough for them to get the oil changed etc and the Tech told us at least 3 times they would have it ready on Friday afternoon no problem. We do all the extras in order to pick it up(work longer hours, store the trailer at a friends, purchase extra gas etc) and when we get their on Friday at 3pm its not ready as all the service dept took off Thursday to go Deer hunting. If someone would of just made a 2 minute call and left a voice message that it was not ready would of been a GREAT customer service and a easy alternative. We did get a call that next week saying it was ready on Tuesday(I guess they wanted to get paid) as none of them got a deer. They also lost a credit worthy customer looking to purchase a motor cycle in the future. No thanks we will take our business, $$, and recomendations to our friends somewhere else. Oh and the bill was $252.00 to change oil,HUB Fluid, change 1 sparkplug,Trans Lube..YIKES, its 2010 guys and I dont think the economy is doing that great. Happy Deer Hunting and perhaps next year the "Cougar" will spare a deer for your hunt, that is, if your nice to folks!

I have purchased a motorcycle, purchased parts, and had service work performed at Mt. Hood Polaris. I have been really pleased with my experience. This is a very low pressure atmosphere. In reading some of the other reviews I understand the frustration of not recieving the attention that you feel entitled to. Keep in mind that this is a small operation. They dont have 10 salesman waiting to pounce on everyone who walks through the door. They service department has fewer people working in it than most dealerships have working in their financing department. Service has been great and performed in a timely manner. I understand that a dealership of this size cant stock every part to completely rebuild every motorcycle,ATV, Utility vehicle, and or snow machine that they work on. This dealership is at the mercy of the manufacturer when it comes to warranty work. It is usually the local Polaris Rep who is responsible for making sure that warranty work is being performed properly. The Polaris Rep is also the one who has the final word when it comes to warranty repairs. Obviously purchasing a defective/troublesome machine is a headache. I have had warranty work performed at Mt. Hood Polaris and issue was handled very professionally. You might have a different experience but I have been in to this dealership many times and have always been taken care of.

RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, & UNHELPFUL LADIES Behind the counter! With Cash in hand, my family and I had every intention of purchasing four new quads from this place. Unfortunately, when we walked into the business, and walked up to two ladies (one older blonde lady & one younger dark haired lady) behind the counter; they had this look of anger and distain on their faces as my wife, my kids and I approached them. When we asked about quads and prices, both the ladies appeared angry, they sighed in a aggrivated way, simply because they had to stop their personal conversation and make the effort to pick up a book on the table in front of them and look up prices for us. Then they did NOTHING to assist us in looking at any of the quads. It was ridiculious how unhelpful and rude they were, as if they were irritated that we were even there to buy anything! We walked away with our money and would NEVER PURCHACE ANYTHING FROM THOSE RUDE PEOPLE! Frankly, Im surprised they even stay in business with the negative and terrible attitudes of those ladies, Ive never been to a place with such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS PLACE! They will treat you like crap, as if you owe it to them to just give them money and take their rude attitudes. Dont do it!

My family purchased a new Polaris from Mt. Hood Polaris and two months later we had problems with it their customer service was horrible. Here is the story… July 4th weekend we were camping when the four-wheeler just stopped work running and would not start again. I tried all the local ATV store but they all said that it needed to be taken to a Polaris dealer. I call Mt. Hood Polaris, where we purchased the machine I told them the situation and explained I was two hours away. They told me to bring in in and they would place it on the machine to tell me what was wrong with it. So I did. They explained that they computer system was faulted and it would be covered under warranty. Which was fine, But it was Friday on the 4th of July weekend so they couldn’t get the part until Tuesday. We asked for a demo they said no there was nothing they could do. When we went the bike up the following we they didn’t want to give us an invoice for the work. We asked why and the manager said that Polaris took care of it. Long story short… The only thing that was wrong was a spark plug and they never even test it when I first brought it in . They are rude and lazy there. Please don’t give them your money.

Got a good chuckle out of reading some of the reviews this morning and kind of shocked to see any negative reviews for this family owned business, as this has just not been my experience of dealing with them over the last three years and felt compelled to share. John and Sue Gardner are two of the nicest people youll ever meet and operate a true family business, a true rarity this day in age. While Ill admit, John can sometimes come across a little gruff, as we all can. He is one of the kindest, and most dedicated individuals in the recreation industry Ive met. He has as volunteered for years, serving on the OSSA board of directors to keep our trail systems open to all of us recreationalists. One thing to be aware of.... John is opinionated and will tell you exactly what he thinks, however he will never sell you something you dont need, and wont do a repair that he knows will not fix the issue or be unsafe. If your ever in need, John is one of the first people willing to give you the shirt off his back. If you ever have an issue like some folks have posted with his team, Seriously, just ask for John. I promise you he will personally straighten them out.

Horrible people. Show up to the service counter and the employee has their feet up on the counter and is chewing tobacco. When I pick up my junk new Victory motorcycle from warranty work, I get a bill. Some warranty. After turning in a negative survey to Polaris, I was banned from getting further warranty work from this business. That would have been fine but the next closest dealership was in Milton-Freewater, hundreds of miles away. Now my warranty was truly worthless. That would have been fine also except the junk brand new motorcycle broke down every other time I rode it. Took the bike to auction and washed my hands from ever owning a Polaris product again.
