Liquor store visits are typically very uneventful: you go in, often knowing what you want, you pick it up, you check out, and you leave. The customer service is commonly nothing to write home about, and usually the only time you leave upset is if they do not have what you want. First of all, this place is recently renovated, and the renovation shows in the sheer improvement to the size of the place and the amount of variety of alcohol that they are now able to sell; they have a very excellent selection of mixers as well. I also noticed that they are open until 8:00PM now Monday-Saturday (5:00PM on Sunday), which is a huge plus, because a lot of liquor stores in Portland close between 7:00-7:30. But even with superior selection, the real star of this place is their staff. I had an extremely pleasant experience with both Tina and Shane, who went above and beyond in assisting me. and making sure my experience was so pleasant, that Im now spending time out of my day to write about it.

This liquor store has the most friendly staff ever! Plus they know what they are talking about when they suggest something. There is more here than any liquor store in the area. If they dont have it in stock they will locate it, and tell you what store in the area has it in stock. But this liquor store has the largest selection in the area. But the photo that is showing is not of the liquor store, it is a photo of the restaurant nextdoor, I think....

I work here. So, From an employee view. Its fun and refreshing. Customers genuinely are good, not mean or aggressive in anyway. I hope we get more reviews so that we can keep bettering are selves. So, That the customer can enjoy 600 new ITEMS... Plus also """if""" you dont see something you want ask us and we can see if we can get it ib for you or find you something better........ In short: Great selection for your easy drinking or large party needs. Helpful and knowledgeable staff in finding the right drink. Decent prices. Very receptive in correcting my mistakes (buy the wrong alcohol, needing to return it). Will purchase from again in the near future!

Very helpful staff who may ask once if you need help, but doesnt constantly barrage you with people trying to help. Some people just need some extra time to look around and decide. Prices are fair and selection is great, especially since they carry local spirits.

This store has a good selection but the staff is kinda stuck up and not friendly. It also closes way too early. Maybe thats an Oregon thing but a liquor store closing at 7 on a Friday night is lame.
