Fuel Center Attendant Attitude / Incident- 5/25/2015 - 9:00am-ish I didnt catch this (older) ladys name but this attendant has a severe attitude problem. I was purchasing cigarettes and had placed my credit card into the drawer and obviously got a pack of cigs and my card back in the tray. I go to collect my card and all the sudden the attendant yanks the tray back into the kiosk with my fingers still in it and then with an attitude tone says put the cigarettes back. Im taken back by this persons attitude and hostile gesture and yank my hand out of the unit. I proceed to tell her you could have just said nicely instead of crushing my fingers and demanding. According to her my card had an issue but as of writing this about 20-30 minutes later and checking my account there is absolutely nothing wrong with my account other than a security hold (random fraud check). Regardless this attendant had no right to act this way or commit this action. I also received ZERO apology after this took place. I will be informing Kroger Corporate Office of this event but wanted to post this as this experience was not only offensive but down right horrid. I think Kroger should be grateful this wound up being just a formal complaint and review instead of making a huge deal out of this. I dont know the name of this attendant as i was fairly upset/angry at what had taken place, but i would imagine the store would know since i have included the date/time of the event and would recognize her if i saw her again. I ended up purchasing somewhere down the road after a short call to my bank. Kroger needs to review how employees interact with customers and the policies used.

This Kroger self scan cashiers are nasty. These cashiers are here to make fun of customers when they need help or self scan is not working the way it is supposed to. I am not cashier so I dont know how it supposed ot work.. (I just want to pay and get out.. dont want to play with self scan too long) instead of helping customers they think customers are bothersome. Black manager here is also nasty and very immature.. I saw him with his under lip sticking out and pout like three years old girls when something doesnt go his way or certain employee come and whisper to his ear probably making fun of other customer what is new here.. There is no restraining in his pouting like three years old girl never mind you there are customers watching.. there is also this white very chunky girl in service desk who has sullen face (5 8" about under 30 years old) who are very nasty.. when I had western union.. $600 all in 20 dollar bills she gave me money without any envelope never mind you she is doing her best to turn customer off at will.... she is always grumpy and nasty.. I think it is culture of this worthington park Kroger. I dont know who put them(grumpy immature black manager 50ish guy in customer service).. they plan to go out of business before they know it if they keep them as employees long.

Yeah, I can agree its a tad on the small side, but a lot of grocery stores in this area are. However, I believe the trade-off would be theres always one close to you. The only thing stopping the quality from being Excellent, would be the produce section. Theyve been getting better lately of taking better care of it, but I still sometimes end up with produce that should have been tossed. (And Im not looking for perfection, just asking the employees to look at what theyre putting out there to buy.) However, Ive never had a problem with any other section. For the appeal, its clean, well-lit where it needs to be easy to find things normally. However, as mentioned before its a tad cramped at times. That however hasnt stopped me from going to this particular store for the vast majority of my shopping. Theres even a Kroger gas station in the same lot, which is convenient. As for the service, for those rare occasions Ive ever needed help, theres always been someone there for me. I couldnt ask for more.

As with any store, they need to open more check out lines especially during the holidays. I dont believe in self checking out because that is whats going to get people a loss of jobs. Many kids and seniors depend on cashier jobs but if people stop going to the cashier and do it themselves the stores wont hire and get you to work for free. Most places with self check out are slower than the regular line because most people seem confused and take forever on such a simple task. So for me,I will continue to go thru a regular line.

This Kroger store is just okay. Its clean, the staff is usually pretty nice, and the selection is basic. Lately they have added a more organic mix but compared to the other stores in the area it is, again, basic. The layout is changed periodically, seemingly without a lot of thought to the shoppers needs - for instance aisles that dead end - you cant get through to other parts of the store. Thats kind of maddening. If youre looking for basic and need to get in and out quickly, this is generally a decent store to shop.

I love some of the selection here and i have run into some really helpful workers and also some not so helpful workers...but i just want to say that i have a weird feeling of being followed in these Worthington stores. Its really not a very welcome feeling at all for any store to be like that. Im not sure if its because I am new out here or what but its not amusing. But this store is definitely in a good walking distance area for houses/apartments out here. Much needed thanks for being here. Very convenient.

There was confusion on using a manufacturer coupon w a digital one. I called earlier in the day to confirm it was ok but when there it didnt work. The cashier was not very friendly about it at all. Service desk did give me the money back but said it isnt allowed in the future. I am surprised because if they have a coupon internally then why wouldnt they accept one from the manufacturer as well.

UPDATED: I reduce my ratings to three stars because the store closed three hours early on the Friday before July 4. I frequent this Krogers often, and there was never a sign posted on the door. It was quite irritating and there is no explanation given. Not sure if I want to visit the store as frequently anymore. ---------- The clearance is awesome. Small store, but I always get what I need.

This is a really good Krogers, and even better with the update. The service is good and it is a neighbourhood store so if you are there frequently and live in the neighbourhood maybe you will like it more. Everyone is friendly, the produce is good and fresh and the meat that I had is good quality. They always have everything I need, even Welsh butter which is a miracle!

Id like to give a shout-out to the pharmacy. I had a prescription from Urgent Care sent over at 10 til closing and rather than transferring it to the 24hr CVS Pharmacy, the pharmacist filled it and stayed over to make sure i got it the same night. This was so awesome of her and I cannot thank her enough for such a generous deed!
