I was tryig the check out at self serve. The minute my cash back came out so did this womam who pushed her way in frontvof my money and tried to take over my register. I couldnt even grab my reciept! I yelled for he to let me finish and she ignored me till at tue top of my lungs i yelled for her to let me have my money. That cause enough noise for other customers to turn around. So se stepp asidefor onesecond so i could get my cashback. Getting my groceries was another struggle. Thiswas a saturday noon time and that area was so busy. Tons of people. She was trying to rip me off ! The cashier in charge had a lineup the service desk did too. i wasnyt waitigin line to report a criminal. I called and the manager laughed at me. Its bad enough to be violated once now its twice. this store has always been shady. Staffed entirey with inner city kids. Theres beggars out front every day. Im really scared to step foot inside. Now the managers dont care who they steal from. U guess he thought thats ok to grab customers cash. They turn down the neighborhood locals for jobs to hire these inner city ones. I wont be shopping there again. Ive lived here over 20years uts the 1st time im deathly afraid to shop at this grocery store. Watch out for those managers. Nothibgs been done about this from corporate either. Its been 2weeks since my report. Obvoisly nobody cares. They are casing all us locals away. Consider this your warning! If you go there you will need a bodyguard to say the least.

Had an interview there, the girl who conducted the interview was really young and seemed intimidated by me. Also she didnt really know how to talk to me, it seems she can only identify with one kind of group of people. She rushed the interview as if she had other things to do and didnt really try to get to know me as one should when interviewing someone. I think they should have a seasoned adult doing that work(my opinion). Most if not all of my interviews had been with adults in their thirtys and up, and they understand that sometime young people know what they want to say but some of us need help getting it out and articulating it, she did not understand this or try to. Some of us have conditions that prevent us from being able to interact with people like this, Aspergers syndrome for example. On another note its a good store with an amazing selection of product. I noticed how many people were shopping there and I could tell that they shop there often. An extremely clean and peaceful shopping experience, added with some nice and respectful employees makes the Madison Heights Kroger superior in grocery needs. I only wish I could have got a chance to work there. I feel I was judged by appearance, which I have no control over but Ill be ok. People will always judge just make sure you remain you. -Reginald Williams

Where do I start when you first try to get into the parking lot it is normally full of idiot drivers suicide parking lot full of trash and debris cards all over the place people dont know what they are doing when they are backing out of a parking spot when you first walk in to the Kroger there is practically nothing on the shelves if you need any help or have any complaint and you look around and try to find jerel and try to tell him how you feel he just pacifies it and doesnt care trying to use customer service half the time is a nightmare theres only one person working customer service when there should be two people there at all times Im high volume time the store is a mess trying to go down some of the aisles there are U-boats and boxes all around makes it hard to walk around the aisles half the stuff that youre trying to find is been out for months or no one wants to restock overnight crew dont even do their job or their wood the shelves filled at all Time even they Cru dont even know how to stock shelves SMH this store has been so bad Rick has put the store into the ground I am glad hes gone because the mayor of Hazel Park and the president of Krogers or down to wonder why so many complaints and still nothing done I hope the new manager that comes at the end of the month makes the store in Tip-Top shape but I doubt it

Its fine. Wonderful selection of healthy foods from teas to snacks. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A good portion of the store 25% Id estimate. Located when you first enter just past the produce. They also have a small enclave between meat & dairy, that has reduced items not only food. ..I purchased a Mr Coffee maker for $7, many soaps & other hygienic products for 50% -75% off. The main reason I go they always have cottage cheese & sour cream for $1. The only thing that isnt Great they have like 50 employees & if you are at customers service counter or check out NO ONE WILL STOP & TRY TO HELP YOU. They all seem to be on break at the same time,Wont even make eye contact. The cashier has to leave & do what needs to be done, and of course there are other people in line waiting.

I like the fact that they are cleaner than Farmer Jacks ever was. Dislike how many times Ive been overcharged. Also dislike how many times sale signs are put on display in front of items that are NOT on sale, insinuating that they are and you buy the wrong size, etc...Also dislike the gas station. The air pump doesnt work and is TWICE the price as air just down the road.Today the machine wouldnt take my new credit card (had it for two weeks now) and had to waste my time going to the cashier. I was on empty, but because of the hassle I only bought two gallons of gas. Security in the parking lot could be better. Right across the street from the police station and time after time I see would be car thieves lifting handles on cars.

I find the produce at this store normally very poor. On the verge of rotting. Its not once or twice I have found this, its most times I shop at this store. Also good luck trying to use the recycling center here. Its always in disarray or at least every time I have gone. Floors sticky, one or more machines are down. Staff are not quick to address full bins. The staff for the most part are nice... Other than that the store is OK. It is a busy location. I now will stop at a much better (in my opinion) location near work on my way home rather than shop at this one. Too many disappointments and annoyances. I thought after the remodel it would get better, sadly I thought wrong.
