I have been going to this store since it started and loved it because its right around the corner and a short walk from my house, but in the past 2 years it has taken a turn for the worst. Shelves are more and more empty every time I go in, Im starting to wonder if they are going out of business. Just tonight I walked up to grab a can of shaving gel, I found the mens deodorant, electric shaver lotions and aftershave, but no mens shaving gel what so ever. There were about 7 varieties of shaving gel for women... It is no longer convenient to walk up to the store for something really quick only to find that it is either not in stock or they only stock a sister product but not the product I am looking for.

This is a very cute market. It is great if you need to stop in and grab a few items. Because this is not a chain store, name brand items cost more. If you are willing to get off-brand items however, it is much less expensive. I do recommend their deli as they have a wide selection of delicious lunch meats and cheeses available for reasonable prices.

In the past year the fruit and veggies what little there is are rotten 90% of the time. Makes the store actually smell bad. The cashiers are rarely customer friendly. I run in for pop and beer because its close and get out as soon as I can. I dont know how they stay in business. Never busy anymore and shelves arent stocked.

Friendly staff. A bit overpriced and you need to pay attention to expiration dates on food. I have accidentally purchased expired food from this place. I will not shop here again.

There are other oak Ridge markets, but this is the only location that carries Downeys potato chips, made in Waterford, MI, the old fashioned way. They taste amazing.

Overall the store is not bad. The deli and meat departments both stand out for service. Regular prices are a bit high, however sale items are very reasonable.
