I recently visited Learning Express Toys. I was very impressed that they had demos out for my kids to play with. The employees were friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of educational toys that most stores dont have. My kids loved it, and they even brought Elmo out to play with them! I would definitely suggest this store to ANYONE!

In short, there is at least different stuff than at the big box places. I am not qualified to decide if they are better, but at least not the same. Some of it seemed expensive, but again hard to quantify expensive. I still have it 5 stars because it wasnt silly high like a lot of independent stores.
