I just separated from my husband in November. Because of this, I have NO money and were barely making rent. The ONE item I wanted to get my daughter for Christmas was the Disney Talking Kitchen. My mom (who is on a fixed income and really cant afford it) gave me $100 to buy that and a couple of Christmas presents for her. The only store I could find it at locally was the Toys R Us in Parma. So I made the 20 minute drive the Saturday before Christmas, paying with cash. On Christmas Eve, I was putting the kitchen together and found that the sink was completely cracked. I put everything back in the box the way it was originally and just put the box under the tree with a bow. Yesterday, I went to the store to exchange it for an unbroken one. My sister grabbed the last one off of the shelf and brought it to the front. They REFUSED to exchange it without the receipt, which I couldnt find. Apparently, no one asked for my telephone number when I purchased the item (I always give it when they ask), because they couldnt look it up by that either. This policy is not prominently posted ANYwhere in the store that I could see, and now Im stuck with a $65 toy that my daughter cant use and that I couldnt afford in the first place. I didnt want the money back; I just wanted an item that wasnt broken. Its not as though the item could easily have been purchased anywhere else, and it IS after Christmas, so what if it had been given to me as a gift and I couldnt find the receipt or had never been given one?

After seeing all the negative reviews for this location, I created a Google account JUST to write this review. I have never used their Baby Registry before, so I was unsure of how it worked. I was skeptical about going to the Parma location because the online Registry said a lot of the items I wanted were "sold out" there. I called to see what time Babies R Us was open till (at 9pm) and spoke with someone right away who answered all my questions. When I got there they even printed out the registry for me, including the isle each item was in. Everyone was SO friendly, even though it was 10pm and they were closing at 11pm. I asked one worker 3 times where items were located, and she even gave me advice when I was unsure what would be most useful to my expecting friend. They even ended up having a few of the items that the website said were sold out. I know I would not want to help a clueless and indecisive person like myself when I was getting off work at 11pm on a Saturday night. Positive experience from phone call to walking in and out the door.

We had great experience at the Fairlawn store, Annie in the furniture departemnt was extremely helpful. However the vendor used to deliver the furniture is aweful. If you have any furntire being delivered by a company called Urban Express, you are much better off delivering it yourself. Lastly, boycott the Parmatown store entirely, I went to the store to have the furniture price adjusted due to a recent sale. Since, it wasnt convenient for the store manager to process my request, she was going to have me drive all the way to Fairlawn over a half hour away to get the adjustment. I had to protest and the manager picked up the phone and worked it out. I thanked her for her time and she handed my receipt and rudely walked away. At this point, Id say GO LOCAL or shop via the other stores that welcome your business. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Extremely annoyed!! Just got bak from the parma location after setting up my registry, putting a few items on layaway and on top of it I baught a few items as well...to walk out of there feeling like I was a nobody. After watching them take care of 2 other customers and seeing them prepare them a complimentary registry bag and water all I could think was wheres mine!!?? Smh. How I had to ASK the lady that took care of me how come I didnt get one and she had the nerve to look at me like I was stupid...asking me for what? Smh. Im still pissed. Im still thinking to go bak and return the items that I baught and get my money bak for the items that I put on layaway. Its that serious. Its not even about the bag...its how they made me feel. No friendly smile my way...no congratulations...jus my total and sent me on my way. Smh. Horrible!!

Called them perfectly happy and content with this world. In fact Id say I was one with the earth and its spirits. I inquired about the game Pop the Pig and got put on hold whilst the employee went to go check. Then I got transferred to another employee whom did the same thing. The third one finally checked and found out Pop the Pig indeed shares corporeal existence with in the same dimensional planes as I do. I suspect she only confirmed my suspicion it indeed occupied a point in space and time at her store because I yelled at her. I then went and married a woman just to become a broken shell of a man and push away my wife causing her to divorce me and ruin my life taking away all my possessions and half my money leaving me unable to purchase Pop the Pig anyway since Im now struggling to get by. Thanks Toy R Us.

Cashier was in a hurry, not that it was busy. She charged me twice for more expensive item and didnt charge me for the cheaper one at all. I got in my car and looked at receipt as I felt rushed to get out of way for next customer. I was over charged $19. Toys r us please train your cashiers to take their time and be aware of what they are doing. I went to customer service and yet another employee in a hurry. Mistakes happen when you rush. How many others have been over charged? I have 13 grandkids and this is where i go for birthdays and Christmas shopping. I will be extra cautious next time.

I went there with my pet dog. The store manager ran to me, threw a Lego set at me while flailing his arms around. Told me that my dog must be on a bicycle to let him run in the store. Then another worker named Scott king, ran to me with his arms flailing as well, throwing a star wars Darth vader at me. Told me that "NOOOO COOKING NEEGERS AHORA!!" as I walked more around, 12 workers rode past me on bicycles with their a rms flailing in the air, all chanting "Titanic stunk!!" Ill never go there again!! Image scared!!

Expensive. Very expensive. Which is funny considering this place is a specialty store and focuses on toys, puzzles, games. Im sure they are getting their product for a pretty low price. However they are not spreading the savings onto the customer. Rarely they do have sales that are really great, but they are far too seldom. Thats the only reason I would give this place two stars. Cut those prices down! Its ridiculous!

Toys r us is OK. I ordered something online and went to the store to pick it up, you have to scan a Barcode and wait for the workers to bring your item out. I get they want you to shop around while you wait but I just wanted in and out quick.
