My son purchased a car from Ron Marhofer Chevy two years ago. Corbin Sweat was his salesman. We sat down with Corbin and told him exactly what me had in mind. Corbin showed us a previously owned Chevy Cruz with low mileage and was in excellent condition. My son was very happy with his purchase. When I decided it was time for me to purchase a new car, I walked into Marhofer Chevy and asked specifically for Corbin. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and made me feel welcome, until I sat down with Corbin. I told Corbin exactly what I was looking for. I test drove a 2014 Chevy Malibu. It was a very nice car and had great features, although it didnt have the back-up camera I was looking for. Also it just didnt feel like the right car for me. Although I was looking to buy a 2014 car, Corbin showed me a beautiful blue 2013 Malibu. As soon as we got on the road for the test drive, I knew it was the car I wanted. It had all of the features that were on my wish list. Corbin was very patient with me. I wanted to be absolutely sure this was what I wanted. I wanted to go on the freeway, up and down hills and see what kind of pick up speed it had and how the brakes handled quick stops. I told Corbin I would buy the car as long as they got rid of the mouse that was hiding somewhere in the back. Just kidding...There was a squeak coming from somewhere in the back. Corbin said not to worry, they would find the squeak. I dont remember how many hours it took or how many mechanics it took to find that mouse. But they found it! It was that netting holder in the trunk that would squeak every now and then! Crystal was very helpful when we talked about if I should lease or buy the car. The man that helped me with my loan papers was also very nice. From the moment I walked into the showroom and talked to the receptionist, to the time I picked up my car, I had interacted with the receptionist, salesman, team leader, loan office and service. Every department at Ron Marhofer Chevy in Stow was extremely friendly, kind and did their best to make my experience with this dealership "Five Star". The last vehicle I purchased was an SUV from a Pontiac dealership. The salesman hardly gave me the time of day. Ron Marhofer Chevy dealership is everything the Pontiac dealership wasnt. I would recommend this dealership to any friend, family member or even stranger! And Corbin Sweat, you are the Bomb!!! Thanks for everything you did for me. Maria B.

My husband and I just purchased a used car from Ron Marhofer. I am actually pretty disappointed with our experience. Zack, our salesman was great - no complaints there. He was courteous, friendly, and helpful. He was probably the best part of our experience and the reason we gave this dealer any stars at all. The last time we purchased a car from a dealer was when we purchased new 10 years ago (and we still have that car). When our other car died, we knew it was time to get another. We had been browsing and researching for a few months before we went because we knew the time was coming soon to replace our car. So, when we went to Ron Marhofer on a Saturday afternoon, we knew exactly what we were there for, test drove it, and decided to buy it. That process took an hour. From there, it was all down hill. It wasnt until 3 1/2 hours later that we finally got to sign papers for the car. Let me reiterate that - from the time our salesman Zack was done with his part until the time we a walked into the financial office to sign the papers, we waited 3 1/2 HOURS! They kept saying they were short a person in finance but I think that wait time is unacceptable. We were debating on leaving, but we were already too far in and there was no turning back. It didnt end there either. The car had a smell that we had noticed since test driving it. I didnt really worry about it because quite frankly smells can be fixed and it had a clean Carfax so it wasnt flooded or anything. Within a few days, I couldnt take it and investigated further. I decided to check the cabin air filter first. Well, that was the problem. It was DISGUSTING (I will try to post a picture of it)! It was the original and had never been changed. It was not only black, but it had leaves and other debris in it. They gave this 3 year old car a 120 point inspection and didnt check something so obvious?? I changed the filter and now the smell is gone. Overall, I am disappointed. We went in there knowing exactly what we wanted and hoped that would have sped up the process. It should never take 4 1/2 hours to buy a car. I also shouldnt have to replace an OEM cabin air filter either when that should have been an obvious inspection point. I do not know if I would buy here again or not. I am honestly hoping I dont have to buy a car for a long time so I wont worry about it until that time comes.

After searching for a few days online, I came across Ron Marhofer Auto Mall that had the car that I wanted to test out and possibly purchase. My wife isnt one that likes to go car shopping, but I brought her with me so I could at least show her the car itself. I was looking for a specific make and model of car, one with ample enough room in the trunk, 4 seats (sedan or hatchback style), low mileage for the year it was, and had to be a manual. My current car at that time was a Chevy Cobalt Coupe, with well under mileage. I was actually looking for another sales associate that day, but Kyle said she had the day off, and he would be helping us with looking around. After having our car evaluated, we did a test drive, and we both instantly fell in love with the car. Unlike the last time we bought a car, where we spent 8 hours waiting on credit approvals and trade-in numbers, my wife and I got a clear pricing for our older car, got the paperwork approved for financing and was driving the car home that same afternoon. Kyle and the sales team at the dealership not only were friendly and helpful, but honest and personable. They werent pushy or in a rush to get a sale done, but to make a life long customer out of my wife and myself. I would definitely recommend checking out their selection if you are need of a reliable car, and they give you a fair/honest assessment on your trade-in as well. My wife even commented that was the first time shes ever in her life enjoyed going car shopping, which hasnt been many times, but one that will stick in our minds. Well be contacting Kyle and the team at Ron Marhofer Auto Family in the future for buying our next vehicle for sure. Thanks again to Kyle for making this an enjoyable car buying experience, as well as Thank you to the team there as well.
