Horrible customer service in the service and parts department. I have two experiences with them and both times were out of convenience when I needed something that day. The first was when I was hearing some rattling going on with my used truck that I had purchased a month ago. I take it to them to get checked out and to do an overall inspection of the vehicle. What was supposed to be a half hour turned into a hour and a half but I was appeased as Bill told me that the tech that was looking at it was very extensive. At the end, was good and bad. I was told that it is a solid truck for having so many miles but it had a few things that needed to be taken care of - that would be over $2000! I was upset by this and went back to the dealership that I bought the truck from. The general manager was taken back by what the inspection found and asked if his service team could take a look at it because he would not have tried to sell the vehicle in the first place. The end result was the GM telling me that they were trying to pull a fast one on me and that he could not believe what they were doing as he knew people over there (for example, my muffler was supposedly leaking ($900+ fix) - actually there is a weep hole for any water that makes it through so it is supposed to be there (reality - $0). The only thing that I ended up doing was replacing my oil pan because it was beginning to rust which Ganley also spotted. A $2000+ fix from Ganley turned into a $150 fix at this dealership. The second experience happened very recently as I was not bringing the truck to get worked on but I needed assistance in figuring out which correct part I needed. Out of convenience, I went up to Ganley in hopes of proving that I am not an idiot who cannot install a snap on glass in my mirror which I ordered from the dealership that I bought the truck from. I was told by this dealership that it should not be a problem and that Ganley could call them real quick to tell them that the part that was ordered was incorrect. I go to Ganley and I could not get and of the parts department workers to come out and see what I was talking about. The only option was to have a tech come out and install the glass and they would charge me for what takes two minutes of work. I told them that it configurally impossible for the mirror to snap in and that if I could just have them look at it so they see what I am talking about and help me figure out what part I actually need. Nothing. Could not get them to walk through the door to take a look for ten seconds. Horrible customer service. Will only help you if they make money off you otherwise want nothing to do with you. Ive been to another Ganley for a previous vehicle and they were extremely helpful and went out of their way in helping maintain my car. Not every Ganley is horrible like this one. Update: I ended going to another dealership that was farther away but still closer than the dealership that I purchased this mirror from. They were very helpful and they went over and beyond. They refunded me my money right there because it was a Mopar part. Now they have helped me get in the right direction on how I must fix my mirror. In total, it took probably 5 minutes.

We just purchased another vehicle at Ganley Village. The staff we have worked with are awesome. The vehicle we just purchased was a Jeep Willy Wheeler Edition and worked with Don in sales along with Ken K (sales mgr). Both guys were great and so helpful. Made themselves available for any questions we had. We also had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Mike C. the new General Manager. He will do whatever he can do to make the deal happen. Justin is phenomenal whenever we have been in to purchase a vehicle. Finance dept. is Mike A. who is very thorough in explaining everything that you will be signing for your new vehicle. This is the one place that you will NOT be disappointed. Whenever we have been in to have service done on our vehicles - Whip and Bill (service mgr) are very accommodating. Parts dept. is great and Ron and Bruce always so helpful when we go in and need to order anything. We have made "great" friends with these people. We started off 18 years when it was Village Dodge and now Ganley Village Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Give Ganley Village a try if you have not been there - you will be happy you did. We have referred friends there to get their vehicles and they are very glad they went there. If they do not have the vehicle you want, they will find it for you. They have for us. They DO NOT forget about you once you have finished the deal. They remember you when you go back in. Ralph & Nancy Soeder - Painesville, Ohio

This is specifically for their service dept, not sales as we have never dealt with that department (we recently moved to the area after retiring from the military). On a couple of occasions we contacted the service department with questions about possible parts and work our Chrysler vehicle needed. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life as I was by their service dept. He acted irritated that he even had to answer the phone and then blatantly refused to answer my questions because he said someone already called that morning asking the same questions (unbeknownst to me my husband had already called him that morning) and basically said he thought we were using another garage so wasnt going to answer my questions?? Come to find out he was equally as rude to my husband when he had called. Of course we choose to take the vehicle else where simply because of their rude behavior as Im sure anyone would. Management should really consider talking with there service dept. about what customer service is and how easily you will lose business because of an unnecessary attitude! And unfortunately for us, our Chrysler seems to be falling apart so they probably wouldve quite a bit of business from us!

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Traded in my Cadillac for a better family vehicle. Even though I knew I was getting screwed over with their $13,000 value on my $21,000 Cadillac. I needed a bigger family vehicle and decided to take the hit. I thought all was fine and dandy until I went to buy a home 3 months later. Somehow my credit dropped 100 points. Come to find out they took over 3 1/2 months to pay off my trade in. So I kept getting late payments and negative hits on my credit, from a vehicle I no longer owned!! They were not remorseful in the least. I fought and fought with them and all they would do is make 1 lousy payment on the vehicle I purchased from them. It took 3 years and a lot of struggling to fix my credit so I could buy a home. And they ruined it in a matter of days!! Ive made numerous phone calls, Ive even went up there and they basically laugh in my face. Now itll take atleast another 1-2 years to fix what theyve done. Trust me, you can find a better deal and get treated better anywhere else.
