TLDR: Willing to go the extra mile to make things right. I would buy from them again if the opportunity presented itself. Found a 2015 Range Rover Evoque Dynamic online at this dealership and it had everything I was looking for. Or so I thought. I arranged a deal with Ken ahead of time, since I live in Michigan and didnt want to travel the 300 miles for no reason. We quickly came to a number that worked for both of us and I setup a time to come pick up the car the following Saturday. The online picture posted on the website showed that it was silver with the black pack, (black features, black rims, etc.). When I arrived, there was a shiny silver 2015 Evoque parked outside, ready to go. However this one had standard chrome rims. Confused, I talked with Ken to see what was going on and he informed me that the picture was a stock photo. At this point I was mad at myself for not verifying this ahead of time, and also pretty ticked at the dealership for not explaining that the photo wasnt of the exact car I was looking to purchase. Come on guys, its 2016 - take a photo of the actual car when youre trying to sell it. The stock photo in this picture was unlike any other stock photo for this car I had seen as it has a rather uncommon feature set/set of packages. I assumed it was the exact car. Todays lesson: Dont assume. I made my displeasure known to Ken as well as his manager and was prepared to walk out. At this point the dealership offered to replace the rims at no cost to me, as well as replace the back covers on both front seats due to excessive wear/scratches. They were even willing to work with my local dealer in Michigan so I didnt have to drive back to Cleveland and provide a loaner at no cost while the work was being done. Sounds fair to me! I bought the car. Within two weeks, the rims and seat backs were taken care of and they had themselves a happy customer. So while there were bumps in the road, I was more than happy that Ken and the folks at Land Rover Solon were willing to work with me to make things right and earn my business. Being 300 miles away, its unlikely Id be a repeat customer, but that didnt stop them from doing the right thing. Thats what I appreciated the most.

Its tough for my wife and I to shop for anything, especially cars, given our busy work schedules as young professionals and responsibilities as full time parents. I started my research online, and walked into the dealership on a Monday, during my lunch break. Tom, our salesman, walked right up to me asking how he could help. He showed me a few options and I headed back to work for the day. Through many emails and text messages with Tom, (some after hours, when Tom was at home for the night) we were able to finalize details quickly and easily. Without his willingness to email and text on MY TIME, this deal NEVER would have happened. Id also add that when other dealerships seemed generally disinterested in doing business with us, Tom went out of his way to engage with us, understand our buying situation, and FIND A WAY to make it happen for us! After having my wife test drive the vehicle on Tuesday, we finalized the deal over email two days later. We literally walked into the dealership on Thursday, during our lunch breaks, and were in and out within ONE HOUR. Thats right, a PAINLESS transaction! We look forward to a long, successful relationship with Land Rover Solon and trust that their service department will exceed our expectations, just like Tom, and his manager Milton did on the sales side of the house. Thanks again, we love our new 2016 Evoque!

At first I had much reservation going to the Solon location due to the reviews that I had read. When I actually went to the Land Rover Range Rover Solon dealership it was a completely different experience. Everyone was the most professional and seemed generally appreciative that I was at their dealership. Holly Schwedler and Ken Webb were exceptional. Parts were ordered, follow up appointment was made and then vehicle was attended to. One of the very best dealership experiences that I have ever had. I look forward to a very long relationship with my new friends in Solon. They really have to do something about those unfavorable reviews. I guess they are one person at a time one day at a time. Like the famous expression How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Thank you Land Rover Range Rover Solon for making me feel like the dealership focused on me and my Rover, that I was very important, and they wanted to make sure that I had a great experience so I could tell all my friends that it is OK to go to Solon.

Full disclosure on this first: I do work here in the parts department. About a year ago I leased my mom a new 2016 Discovery Sport. No one here knows who she is. She does cleaning jobs for a living and as such wears older shirts, holey genes and maybe a baseball cap now and then. Guess what? When she walks in she gets the same treatment and respect like anyone else who will walk in. Whether if its just for service or a problem she may have, she is very happy. I tell you It wouldnt matter if I worked here or not. If she would not receive the proper respect, I would have her going somewhere else by now. Thanks for making my mom feel like one of the family here guys!

Land Rover Solon thank you for such a clean polished image and all the classy staff. I had a great time while waiting for service, Ken Webb and Holly Schwedler are the ut most professionals. My Jaguar was repaired with great timing after being in a vehicle distress situation. You all at L.R. Solon did a great job and I look forward to working with you all in the future. Incidentally, you all were better than your competitor here locally. I like to thank you all for standing by your product and service. I dont know if its just a corporate culture here or if they seek out little yuppies that think theyre better than everyone else. Their prices are outrageous considering how many times have had to bring my car in for the same issue. You would think that the Range Rover dealership would be the place to go and that they could get a repair done right the first time but I was simply not the case at this dealership. Range Rover notoriously has a bad reputation for customer service... In fact I believe JD Power and Associates may have rank them the lowest in customer satisfaction.

I have been a customer of Land Rover Solon for many years and have always been very impressed by the exceptional level of their customer service both in sales and service. I recently purchased a Range Rover Sport Td6 HSE and Rick McDonald was awesome and made the whole purchase process stress-free and a lot of fun. This is the 4th Land Rover I have purchased and the 5th I have had serviced by Land Rover Solon and their quality of care is consistently at the highest level - certainly deserves 5-Stars.
