I walked into Terry Lumber and expected the prices to be ridiculous like many of the old-time hardware stores that are left. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did they have a better selection in wood trim and boards, but their prices were much better too. I was looking for a cap trim similar to one that I found for 1.05/ft at Lowes. I found a more detailed trim, similar in size for almost half the price(poplar instead of Lowes pine, even better). Needless to say, I am going with "Boggs" profile from Terry Lumber and hoping that this is the start of a beautiful relationship.

The company is not far off on price from the big stores and will have or can get nearly any timber/wood material you need. Granted you must call them (dont let the website decieve you) but you will have an answer quickly. They wont have you fill out a quote or wait for a "dedicated sales engineer" to get back to you. The are the good reason for almost no large lumber yards last near the river valley in the area.

This is exactly what a lumber yard should Be! Knowledgeable people and good products. Forget about Lowes & Home Depot if you are looking for building supplies. Russell is my favorite. Hell fix you up.
