Surprised theres no other reviews yet. It seems to take me forever to choose, pay for, and load wood when I go to the big box stores. Here I just walk up to the counter, place the order, drive around back, and it gets dumped right in the trailer and off I go. They turnover their inventory at an insane rate (you might see a few train cars - yes, train cars - loaded with lumber). So the warpage is less. And its stored outside so its acclimated already. I couldve believe how straight my 2x4s were. Even the 2x2s (which are usually crap) were fairly true. Plus theres huge "man" points driving around a real lumber yard. Their hours stink - its not homeowner friendly. I suspect 80%+ of their business is contractor work.

Ordered 42" poplar spindles, they said they had an overstock of primed poplar. Ordered, paid for, I get there and they are 34" not 42". They charged me another 390.00 for their mistake. Mike at the front desk also said he checked himself, claiming his tape measure must be broken. Nice work at case ave!!!! Will not purchase from again.

I had a great experience. I needed a piece of plywood at certain dimensions (was going to paint) and they were kind enough to find scrap material and rip a couple pieces for me. Very good people to work with!

This place services contractors mostly. Very slim selection of products. Bad hours for homeowners. Not much to browse. Meh.
