One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Their triple pane windows (Sovereign) are absolute junk. I have 43 individual windows in my house (yes, it is a larger house) and so far I have replaced 18 of them in the first 4 years due to seal failure, cracked window panes or the most common trait with mine, Low-e breakdown. They apparently cannot figure out how to put a triple window together without it failing shortly thereafter. Last time I had them replace two windows under warranty it took over three months to finally recieve the windows. And then when I get them the sashs are just slightly the wrong size so then I end up removing the whole new glass assembly and re-installing it the old sash so it will fit. This has been a nightmare. Our dream house and now it has junk windows. STAY AWAY FROM REVERE BRAND, SOVERIEGN OR WINDOW WORLD WINDOWS!!!!

This company is TERRIBLE. I have been dealing with them for over a year to get two windows replaced that have lost their seal. I have been told my window sticker doesnt have the right information for over 8 months then all of the sudden someone that knows how to read the sticker says that all the information is right there. Then they make me two windows that are the wrong size. Then I am told that the windows are from a company they bought so they cant be responsible for replacing them. Then the story changes to I can get glass packs but not the full sash. I would love to tell you the glass packs fit but they didnt ship them when I was told they would. Then they shipped them a month later.....to the wrong store for pick up. Not they are remaking the glass packs and promise me they will be shipped to the correct business this time. Well see. Stay Away From This Company!!!

Joe - Mar 8, 2012 Amen to the first rater. Although told by the contractor who performed the installation of my windows that the remaining warranty was transferred to me when I purchased the home, this company refused to honor after making me research serial numbers and take photos. They were informed by me that I was the second owner when I first contacted them concerning a broken seal in one window. This company represents another typical 1960s style rip-off that has given their industry such a bad reputation. Its only one window and its within the time limits of the warranty. What happened to our economy? Crappy products that companies wont stand behind. Remember this when some one gives you their "buy American" speech. American business practices like this screwed up the economy. Dont deal with anything this company offers.

AKA Alside Windows and Doors. My builder used these windows in my new construction 2005 home. I have had 10 windows seal fail and mold has grown between the panes. They have replaced the all free of charge but it has cost me over a $1000 to have them replaced and now I have filed a third claim they have put me through the run around for over two months. I have spoke to three different claims people with all giving different excuses why it has not been processed, meanwhile I have a petri dish beside my back door. Very embarrassing! These windows are junk! Spend a little more for piece of mind and good customer service, The savings you get on the front end, cost you greatly shortly after. If your builder uses Alside beware, he is probably cutting corners elsewhere as well!

Not happy with the product or the service. Had all windows in my house replaced with their products in 2002. Three windows have failed due to seals leaking (two in the past 12 months). The warranty repair experience has been the same i.e. send documentation and payment info, wait, call, wait, call, finally action after weeks of silence. My latest experience began in Feb this year with another seal failure in a double pane window - I sent warranty repair docs in early March and did not hear back. Called in April 4 and was told the item would ship soon - complete silence since. Called today (May 5) and was told the window had shipped to their partner company on April 28 - but nobody bothered to tell me. Hopefully, this is my last experience with Associated Materials.

Terrible company. We purchased our home brand new from the builder 5 years ago with a "lifetime" warranty on the triple pane windows. When we had a window that lost the gas seal, we sent all the info to Associated and they claimed we were not the original owners so the warranty was void. They said the builder was the original owner (arent they the original owner of all homes?) so they would not warranty the window. I am having the window repaired at my expense but wiill be suing them in small claims court for the cost. Ill keep you posted. WHAT A SCAM COMPANY!

Condo was built in 2006/2007, one of the windows installed has a leaky seal. Called them about the warranty, filled out and sent all paperwork with pictures only to find out somehow the window is not covered for the second homeowner (I bought it from the original in November 2015). Nowhere on the paperwork does it say that and when on the phone I told them I was the 2nd owner and included that information in the paperwork sent. All that time and trouble and if that little clause is true why couldnt they say that on the phone!!!

This company is truly bad. For over year I am trying to replace couple of windows at my house and nothing is done. Windows are under their warranty. I made about 30 phone calls for last year and every time I hear from them just a promises. The only last option is to obtain legal advice and hire the lawyer. No words, cant believe them, unspeakably bad way doing business.

They have no desire to work. Been here 3 hours waiting for freight to be unloaded and it seems as if more glass is going in the dumpsters than into inventory. The owners might want to check on their profit and loss from this location

Terrible Customer Service. I have had several windows fail in my new home and it took 9 months for the first 2 to be replaced . Now I have 2 more that need replaced and it has been 6 months trying to get these replaced. What a joke!

Nearly 5 hours wasted here delivering glass yet to be broken by incompetent non speaking workers who seem to be too busy to take their product. What a joke

Used to work here as a temp. They use cheap labor means to turn profit. A bunch of illegals and their families work here.
