Ive shopped here a few times, customer service is so-so. Youll get a few quality people but overall expect an average reception. My most recent experience was poor. (Customer service at the Mulhauser branch was 3/5.) My furniture arrived late. They asked me to be home around 1230 and the furniture arrived at 5:30/6pm. (Yes, you do give delivery times.) The second delivery arrived at 10pm on a weeknight. This is the problem... These deliveries should be at a reasonable hour. It would be in the companies best interest to invest in 1) more trucks or 2) a quality delivery service. You should invest in your company to ensure your customers feel comfortable with spending their hard earned money in your store. Overall, customer service is adequate but needs help. Your delivery service for 70$ is an absolute joke. Unfortunately it ruins the entire experience as it seriously compromises the customers trust in the process. There is no communication between Delivery Drivers, Store and Customer without the customer calling in and asking, "Where is the furniture?". The delivery times are ridiculous... 10pm, really? Figure this out immediately. The solution isnt difficult. Expect average customer service and an absolutely horrible delivery service. Otherwise, go shop at one of these furniture stores that are in the same area: Havertys Furniture, Bargains and Buyouts, Sims Furniture, Value City Furniture, Cincinnati Overstock Warehouse, Frontroom Furnishings and many more within the 275 loop and 75 North/South. American Freight please fix your delivery service, better train your employees and start holding yourselves to a higher standard. The store has potential but these issues are making you look unprofessional. You need consistency.

For starters I went to this location for their advertised $49 twin mattress. The price is actually $98 because they sell them in sets and do not piece them out. I bit the bullet and bought it anyway. When we arrived.home we were disgusted when cockroaches came out of the box spring. We promptly threw it away as we did not even need the box spring. We were happy with the spring mattress so it was not a total loss I thought, until the next morning. My son woke up with red welts all over his body. We quickly rushed him to the doctor who informed us that these were bed bugs bites and that my son was allergic. We immediately called American freight and spoke to the manager Richard. He told us that theres no way the bugs came from them and insinuated that we must be dirty people. He refused to give us a refund claiming the bugs were not from the mattress. We have lived in this house for 13 years and never had bed bugs or roaches. Richard stated he had other people to help and then HUNG UP ON ME. When I showed up in person he refused to see us and stated we were no longer welcome and we had to leave. This place is awful. They have bugs and refuse to make it right. All we wanted was a refund but now my attorney and I are looking for a lot more. He made us feel like liars and criminals. Avoid this place at all costs!

Visited store twice to buy a bedroom set and dinning set, first day the store had no customer but us my husband and I entered there wher two employees on the cash registers they said Hi, but none of us offered us help after half hour in store nobody offered help we felt discriminated because some people entered the door after we where there waiting for help, and they got attended quickly from the same cash registers we saw and it was they who offered themselves to help so we left wmpty handed. Second time we went in an employee attended us but was rude and didnt look as though interested in selling anything because we werent decided on what kind of bed we wanted, again we left empty handed we bought everything in another store more expensive but excelent customer service.... Thing is I was a sales manager for many years and its not just having competitive prices the importance its having quality customer services what gives you sales your employees have to treat your customers as though they would like being treated as customer.....bad experience, hope you get better at this...two stars are for some of the prices..

I wish I could actually give this company a NEGATIVE star review. I have never had such an experience buying furniture in my entire life. Lets get one thing straight I went to American Freight to buy couches for my basement. As it is a basement hangout room I did not want to spend alot of money and I thought their furniture was actually pretty decent for the price. I was told that my furniture would be delivered same day (Sunday), and so I waited until about 10 PM and they never called and never arrived. I called the next day and was told that they forgot to print the delivery receipt so it was never put on a truck and that it would be delivered on Monday. It is now 9:16 PM and the delivery driver just called to let me know that he should be to my house by 9:40 PM. This is the worst service I have ever had I would have been better off renting a truck from Home Depot and picking the furniture up myself. Do yourself a favor spend a few hundred more and go to a real store...I wish I would have.

This was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have EVER been a part of! We bought a couch a few months ago from this location and after 5 phone calls and a whole wasted day we got the couch delivered at almost 10:00 pm! Today, we thought we would give it a second chance, so we purchased a mattress and box spring, with assurance from the sales man that we would receive our items the same day before 5 pm. At 6:30, still no call from the delivery team. I call the store and talk to the "General Manager" Zack and was treated like complete garbage, I then ask to speak to his boss, so he puts a Tim on the phone who is the "Regional Manager". He then begins to treat me even worse then Zack does! This was appalling! I have never been treated so bad in my life! I will NEVER step foot in your store again, and I will definitely let everyone I can know about the horrible experience we had! I really dont see your business lasting very long with the way you treat your customers!

Ever see a person make the same mistake twice? Well thats what I did when I went back there to shop for a second time. The first experience was just bad but this was horrible. The created a set that they said was all by the Simmons manufacturer. It wasnt so check closely. Then when its delivered at 9:30pm, when I was told it would be delivered no later than 8pm and actually got a call from the movers saying they would be there soon at 6:30pm. When they actually got there it was too dark to get a piece of the furniture through a window upstairs, they left it on the porch and when looked at in the daylight, was damaged at the feet of the sofa. They would not accept a return or made any attempt to satisfy me. Horrible place to buy. Go there to get a price and leave before you give this horrible place any money. Look around, dont throw your money away here!!
