The GROOMING DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE ...... Yesterday I call a couple stores trying to get my maltese groomed (store in parma and north olmsted. They told me they were booked and also made me aware that our rabies paperwork would expire November 30th) So then I went online and looked into the online scheduling where I preceded to find an appt in the Elyria store for 3-6. I had the time selected and in my cart but decided to call the store to book so that there werent any mess ups. When I called they said it wasnt available (I worked in retail/customer service for 6 years and thought it was because the time was in my in cart and that was why they were saying it wasnt available. I get off the phone book the appt and they proceed to call me, but I missed the phone call and there was no message left for me so I assumes that it was to confirm the appt after all. I walk in with my dog and the girl tells me that they blocked that time off because they had a larger dog that would take longer and that next time they wouldnt accommodate me (mind you they never mentioned the larger dog over the phone) Then she says Im sorry your rabies isnt up to date. She said it expired 10/31 so I told her to call the north olmsted oh and erie pa store to confirm..... She called North Olmsted and she told me they told her the expiration date was 10/31.... I walked out to the car and then my husband went back in with my dog. I called the North olmsted store and girl goes I told her it expires at the end of this month... At this point Im realizing the employee LIED . My husband comes out without our dog and they said they would take her but it would take till at least 6 to cut her hair. 45 min after we drop her off we get a phone call that her rabies vaccine is not up to date so they cant cut her hair after all. We go back and they gave her a hair cut from the neck down just leaving her head to but. We ended up finding out that they went into the computer and changed the date from 11/30 to 10/31 so they wouldnt have to do it. I am disgusted that they were so lazy that they lied about the records exiring just to get out of work on time (she was their last appt). When my husband talked to the manager she just said they wouldnt do it (she didnt even bother looking into it) Now I have a dog with 75% of her hair cut and I have to go somewhere else and get the work finished. I will not go back to this store..... BROOKE WAS THE ASSOCIATE I DEALT WITH AT GROOMING

Really unacceptable. Youll see why Im unhappy with this place. Ill go from less worse, to the worse... The store is rather dark, poorly lit. They dont pay any attention to the customers, the few associates there are. They leave their carts blocking aisles... Not like a safety issue, on purpose, but just careless. Safety issues were present, with shelves just leaning in high traffic areas. Their animal cages are clean, but the cages dont show any care for the animals. The gerbils are showing signs of waltzing, a sign they lack enrichment, and others had wheels that were broken. So sure they clean the cages, but they really dont care about their animals. Finally, their adoption schedule is bull crap. They have a list (calendar), and each Saturday has the same place. Well, they dont. They say "sometimes they show up, we just have to have events." REALLY?! They do not care at all... And I noticed an associate struggling with an animal. Not only did she stay out in public trying to transport this reptile to a box (they have closed off areas behind the cases for a reason), and when the manager came over, she was making rude comments about the person buying it. Im disgusted my companion bought anything here.

I brought my dog (Cock a Poo) in to Pet Smart in Elyria, Ohio 44035 on July 1st to be groomed. I explained what I wanted and I think his profile is in the computer, because I have brought Charlie into our Pet Smart in St. Petersburg 33709 a few times. Brooke was the groomer. She must be a new groomer because she didnt finish his cut. She trimmed up his body except for his belly, his paws were not trimmed up at all. his head was completely neglected. Brooke gave me a PAWGRESS REPORT and it said in her words "Good boy for the bath, but was very nervous and difficult for the haircut. I did my best to even him up" So watch who you take your pet to here. I ended up not being happy with the service.

Ive been keeping fish for over ten years and not only is this place over priced but they are either short staffed all the time or theres rarely anyone by the fish. Theres a lack of care for the aquatic animals. Turtles were in maybe 1inch of water whereas other stores keep them in about a foot of water. Their fish tanks are a disgrace to any fish keeper. Dead fish in 1 out of 5 tanks. And they have these dividers separating the tanks with holes in them. If one tank has a disease or a dead fish it contaminates other tanks.

Horrible service if you have any problem. Returned a few items on different occasions and never got the money back on my account and they told me there was nothing they could do. So I paid for products that I no longer have and got no use out of and they didnt seem to care. I now drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to a different petsmart and I just returned something 2 weeks ago and my golly it was in my account within 10 business days. ill no longer be going to Elyria petsmart again for anything.

Took my miniature schnauzer to get his puppy trim there twice and both times have been amazing! He was treated with love and care and they did an amazing job trimming him up and giving him a bath. His coat came back as soft as ever. Holly and Marissa were the associates I dealt with the first and second times, respectively. I highly recommend both of them!

I told them repeatedly NOT to grind my dogs nails but to cut them with a clipper and they went ahead and grinded their nails. One of my dogs hates that and he got anxious and agresive and then they told me that they could not groom my dog. They are stupid, inexperienced and dont listen. Dont go there!

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, the store is clean, the fish tanks are well taken care of. Some of the prices are a little high sometimes, but they always have some kind of sale, and the clearance is unbeatable. This is my go-to for my cats and my fish.

I loove petsmart because they have all the top brands! Fish- aquon Dogs- purina one etc. Their aquatic life is alive instead of floating :) and very clean. Nice that you can bring in your doggie for a walk too!
