If i could do this review with no stars i would. I have a 6 1/2 month Shitzu. His hair was growing beautiful. When he would run to me it looking like he was floating. Well I took my baby to PetSmart Grooming on Wade Hampton on 6/17/16 @ 7:35. I checked him in and the groomer took him not giving him any love like they do at woodruff rd. Only reason i took him here because because its closer to where we moved to. His appt was for 8am. I left and went to work. I got a call at 9:29 telling me that he had matts and they are not to be able to do the #5 blade that they are going to have to shave him. I in return told them not to shave him i will come get him.(mind you when i dropped him off the girl said he feels fine.) I will be there in 2 mins. So they calls me back and says they will not have to shave him after all so i dont have to come but he will be ready this after noon around 2 because he is resting now because he is not liking his haircut. When i get there he is so happy that came to get him i think he whispered "Save Me". I looked at him he had already been cut low with scissors(he looked choppy) his face and paws untouched. No bath no nails clipped. You think i was pissed my husband was more pissed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THEM.

I would give less stars if I could. Placed an order online and received email later that day that it was ready for pickup. After measuring the area I needed the wide pet gate for, I decided it would not be big enough. Went by the store the next morning and told them I just wanted to cancel the order. The female manager I spoke with was rude but said ok that she would cancel the order......then they billed me the next day, which was 6/8/17. I called to check on my refund, had to make a couple of trips to the store trying to get my money back.....nobody really knew what was going on with the refund. On one visit to the store, they told me my bank was the holdup. Went to my bank.....turns out they werent the holdup, Pet Smart was. Two of the managers, Jeff and Mike, were rude and acted like they could care less if I got my money back. It took me from 6/8/17 until yesterday, 6/26/17 to get my money back. Lesson learned....I will never place another online order with them....probably wont shop there either.

The people working there know nothing about fish, and all of their fish are in horrible condition. I just bought two guppies from there and they died in less than a week and gave my other guppy an infection that killed him before I even have to react. Any time I ask someone working there for advice on anything fish related, they are of no help. A little while after I got my first few fish I asked one of them if they had anything that could help get rid of nitrates, and they handed some bacteria supplement that had absolutely no affect on the nitrate levels at all. Almost every single one of their tanks has five to ten dead fish it at all times, and half of the alive one look as sick as can be. Them seem a little more knowledgeable about other pets, but I do not recommend going there for anything even remotely fish related.

I think it hilarious that all these people want to say rude things about the manager, Sarah, but all she is doing is looking out for the well being of the animals she is putting into a persons care. It may only be a 29 cent fish as you say, but it is still living. She is still wanting to place that fish into a home that will take care of it and not have it die in a week because someone couldnt take care of it properly. She may badger you with questions, but it is for a good reason. You want someone that knows what they are talking about then go see her. If you dont care if it lives or dies then go to another store entirely. How hard is it to answer a few questions? Especially when the well being of whatever animal you choose to take home depends on your knowledge. I trust her explicitly.

I can not believe how rude the manager was! Her name was Sara E. I had taken my kids and a group of her friends on a simple fun outing. They went into the store to look around and wanted to buy one small 29 cents fish. I have been to this store many times in the past and never experienced anything quite like this. She was so rude to a sweet 14 year old girl and "bullied" her with questions about the water, tank , environment the fish would be in. I was shocked and just the group out if there. Sara of course did tell me how she was "the manager" and if i had a problem with anything she would be the person she would need to talk to. I would never go back into that store again and strongly feel Sara needs to be fired for how she treated these kids!

Out for your money in Greer SC,. I bought 6 doses of Frontline plus for a 23 - 44 lb dog and paid 111.00 for that I usually pay 64.00 for that from them, It was suppose to be a buy one get one which would make sense called Greer manager and he said that was the price of 6 pack!!!! And also said I got half off my lower priced item which was 35. 00 for a different brand of cat flea 4 dose which he said I was not suppose to get. He said they would only give the lesser of the two as half off. Dont know about you but look and see what 6 doses of the frontline plus is and see what I paid matches up. Again rip offfffff! Thanks pet smart Greer I will go somewhere else!! You charge too much!! Buyer beware!

Was going to buy replacement bags for my litter genie here, but stopped to look at some of the reptiles they had. Was taking some pictures to show my girlfriend (who had to work and couldnt come in herself). An employee told me I wasnt allowed to even after I explained why I was taking pictures. My girlfriend might have wanted to buy one of the turtles they have, but I think we will be taking our business somewhere else. I didnt buy the replacement bags either, as I found the exact same product at a different nearby store for half the price and Id rather take my business somewhere that actually wants it.

This is the ONLY place I will take my dogs for grooming. The people are so nice there and do a super job on the dogs. I took them originally to the PetsMart in Spartanburg (about 5 years ago) and was told that one of my dogs was so difficult they could only groom the back half and handed him back to me with the front half untouched - he looked like a miniature lion! It was awful. And they only took $5 off the total bill - it was a real rip-off - but the guys at the Taylors store are fabulous and never have an issue with them and are great.
