My husband I had been eyeing a set of couches from Value City for quite some time and finally decided to buy. According to the customer service representative that I had spoken with earlier in the day, most Value City Furnitures will give an extra discount if you purchase multiple pieces. Having this in mind, we went to the store, found the couches we wanted, and were greeted by a salesmen who seemed less than thrilled to be there. We told him we wanted to buy the couches and it was slightly more than we were looking to spend. We asked what deal could be given if we were to purchase two. He smugly replies "Ill buy you a candy bar". I get it, we look young but the condescending tone was not called for. We had asked him what the incentive was for purchasing in store rather than online. He told us there wasnt one. So we purchase them online rather than giving some greasy salesman commission he didnt earn. That brings us to delivery, we were called twice to confirm our delivery date and were emailed the day prior to the delivery date to again confirm. The night before, we receive a phone call stating that they didnt have the correct inventory and our couch would not be delivered for another 2 weeks. Due to their error and inability to track inventory, I now have to wait two more weeks for my couches without so much as an apology, let alone any sort of compensation for their error.

The product itself is great. I bought a $1400 couch and have had it for a week. Overall customer service experience I had was very bad. It seems that they will say/do anything and make promises to get the sale. Once they get the sale/money their customer service goes out the window and will not fulfill what I was told. My experience was that they were not customer oriented and were very sales/money driven. This seems to be with all locations. Needless to say, I will not be buying from Value City again

When we walked in a gentleman greeted us and made it seem like he thought we couldnt afford anything there so he was kind of short with us, definitely offended me and my friend, sure were in our 20s but we both have well paying jobs, the gentleman then followed us around as if we were doing something wrong, keeping and eye on us the whole time, it really rubbed me and my friend a pair of college graduates with great jobs the wrong way. Definitely wont be back to this store.

I bought my living room furniture from VCF polaris location and I am extremely happy with my experience. I worked with Chris Follestad, he was very knowledgeable more importantly very patient. Their designer Ana Robins worked with me tirelessly through all my doubts and changes. For a change this was a extremely pleasurable furniture shopping !

Wow! I havent been in a value city furniture store in years and this one looked so modern, trendy and seemingly good quality. Even had some furniture that was made in the USA! It definitely inspired me on ideas to furnish my house. I will be back for sure when Im ready to buy.

It was big and showy, thats for sure. I just didnt find the kind of dressers I was interested in. Furniture was kind of poorly made. And the prices are OK if you are OK with lower quality furniture. Overall pretty "meh".
