Not only is the staff rude but the customers are too. Ive never felt more unwanted in a public place before in my life. I guess thats what you get for trying to shop in Upper Arlington. However, my experience at this store was horrible, specifically from the management. I looked for an open checkout to no avail. I opted to go to the self checkout and do it myself (even though Im paying more for my items then I could get at Krogers or Meijer). I found an open one but saw people waiting in line for a cashier so I hesitated to make sure no one was waiting for it or claimed it. Before I could start my transaction I was stopped by a manager to let some customers from the cashiers line to go ahead of me. I would have been alright with it if I was asked politely or if they didnt have a full cart compared to my 6 or 7 items. The manager just rudely stopped me and asked me to move. After being treated rude from multiple customers and staff I clearly wasnt wanted there so I left my items and walked out. I will not be back and I warm anyone from going unless you like being treated as a lesser human being.

This place is a joke! Theyou cant successfully accomplish the most basic job of a supermarket ... have product on the shelves! I have complained (and been ignored) by the pathetic management for *years*! This is the *worst* Giant Eagle/Market District Ive ever shopped at! I lived in Pickerington for a year and was absolutely *spoiled* by simply being able to buy all my groceries in one place! Other stores DO NOT have these problems! It is only the Upper Arlington store. It is systemic and constant! If Kroger opens a store here, Market District will go out of business! Pathetic!

This is a shopping experience. Huge variety, knowledgeable employees, delicious prepared foods options. There is a Starbucks, a beer and wine bar, a candy store including a chocolatier and fresh Gelato, and an incredible child care facility for ages 3-9. They will sharpen your knives for you, cut your bread to order, and accurately recommend a good cheese. Ive pretty much stopped going anywhere else.

They put the super in supermarket - this store is like no other [in Columbus] in terms of both the immense selection and wonderful presentation. Youd have to go to Brooklyn or Chicago or San Francisco to find a better super supermarket. There is a marked difference between this Giant Eagle and "regular" Giant Eagles. Krogers upscale mega locations dont quite compare either.

Great selection of food, especially specialty meets and cheeses. Pick up groceries or food to go and enjoy a glass of wine while shopping or waiting. Theres also seating area if you get food and want to eat it there. The burgers are amazing as are the subs. Theres a hot bar and salad bar and plenty of other fresh prepared, while you wait, food to enjoy as well.

Huge selection of everything. The food services are delicious. The food court are is nice to enjoy a meal made by a chef downstairs or a beverage with a friend. Great wine selection and liquor store in house. The floural service is absolutely perfect and probably the most helpful out there. Quick checkouts most of the time outside of Sunday brunch time.

Called at 10 pm on 12/23 to see if they carried Red Stripe Light. Guy answering the phone said all the beer and wine people have gone home and that there was no one there capable of walking down the beer aisle to see if theres a package that says Red Stripe Light on it. Thats cool, you just made me an Andersons customer for life.

I love This store, mainly because of all the amenities, Ive never actually bought groceries here. But the foodie Fridays are awesome, they have wine tasting which is a cheap thrill. They also have a bar with pizza which is really delicious. They have an excellent alcohol selection and fresh sammies. Also dont skip on the Gelato!

Best chicken yellow curry ever. It is big enough for two or maybe three. I had it with brown rice, my husband tried over noodles. The sushi looked excellent. So many interesting dishes to try. Free tea at the door. Interesting place to shop but even better place to eat.

Nothing like fighting through the crowd at the salad bar, then sit down to try n enjoy your meal and the band starts blaring their music so loud you cant hear yourself think. Awesome :( Why does everything here have to be an "event"? Its a just a grocery store.

Market District is my favorite place for groceries. There are plenty of fresh meat such as beef, fish and other seafoods. I also enjoyed the shopping atmosphere there. Its like youre at a real "market" with friendly people and fresh food.

High class store, once shopping here, I cant shop anywhere else! Also has some tasty restaurant grade food and a nice cafe area to enjoy it in! The cafe is also a great place to do homework or study. Cashiers were awesome!

Wide selection of items...even a few unusual/hard-to-find items. Employees are usually friendly and helpful. Sometimes members of the Ohio State football team are there to sign autpgraphs and meet fans.

Really nice store, very large, pharmacy, large beauty section, fresh bakery items, deli etc. has a bulk section, Starbucks and their own cafe with several options. Nice seating area upstairs with wifi.

I love this place. Great atmosphere. Good food selections. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the beer bar. Huge selection of beers and wine. Liquor store. Hot bar. This place has it all. Great idea.

Our go-to store. Always fantastic selections in every area of the store. Friendly staff who are always helpful. Always good weekly sale items. No better store in the Columbus area.

None of the sales are up to date. They sell a lot of booze to people to consume while shopping, so people are waking around drinking and not doing very well shopping. Not a fan.

Giant Eagle refuses to match prices with any other store. Giant Eagle prices are outrageous compared to Krogers period Ill start shopping more often at Krogers because of this.
