My son and his friends (African American) were there last night 4/11/17 at 7pm to grab a bite to eat and a movie when the fake donut shop security cops kicks them out into the cold and told never to return. Now I kno theres a curfew but they were followed all the way to the exit and kicked into the cold!!! Now these are 3 children 16, 17 and 18. Honor roll students WITH JOBS!!!! Is this how were treating our future generation??? They were told to come back with an adult and proper Id. Hold on wait! Isnt the 18 yr old a legal adult. We normally dont let our boys out alone other than to b-ball practice and other positive functions but since theyve proven to be responsible we let them go alone for the first time and this happens?! They were sooo hurt. Racial profiling at its best. Sometimes its not what u do but how u do it silly security guards. They were picked up and told never to enter that raggedy mall never again. I will NEVER spend another dollar there as well. Shame on you northgate Mall and silly toy cops havent u learned anything from previous incidents? smh. I wish there was a Zero star option.

There are a lot of pros and cons with Northgate Mall. Lets just get the cons out of the way. There are too many stores more suited for flea markets. The mall accepts anyone just to keep the spaces filled. The problem is the stores brings in lower income customers and drives down rent costs, thus bringing in less revenue to the mall. Sometimes no revenue is better than cheap revenue, because the costs to run a facility in use stays high. The mall really needs to increase rent and drive out the cheap shops. Okay, pros now. Police are security at the mall, so if there is trouble, be aware these are not unarmed mall cops. The malls is complete totes on holiday events. They have a great looking Santa and Easter Bunny, and even a train for kids to ride for $3. The mall thankfully does have some better-end stores to keep up revenue. The mall is safe, despite problems in the past, and has a curfew for teens. So, no, parents you cannot just drop off a crew of kids and let the mall do your babysitting. I like this mall, however it needs a lot of hard improvements.

It is a nice place to walk. Smaller Mall with one main floor. It has been here for years and went through multipke stages. There are a couple stores with 2 floors like Sears and Macys. There are several empty shops throughout but still has many options to look at. This Mall even has a Cinema with the lounge seating, which is nice. Parking is ample. Plenty of handicap parking spaces. Weekdays are a good days to visit as Weekends are busy. Lots of walkers if you want to get some steps in without the elements outside. Anyway, it is in good repair and clean. There is a food court with a good selection of cuisine although not many options. The main restaurant in the Mall is Applebees at the food court entrance. One of the better Applebee stores... Overall, had a nice experience.

This place has a few decent stores in it, is close to where I live now, and I was excited about visiting this mall. I went in with my little ones and immediately felt unsafe. There were not many shoppers, but those there kept eying us. Many looked like thugs, whether or not they were, it made me feel really uneasy. I felt the need the guard my purse the whole time and my children. The seats in the food court were split and cracked and ripped. Although the food court people were nice to me. The floors were dirty. Actually everything looked dirty. It was also very poorly lit, which added to its scary, dank feel. There are barely any food choices. I really dont want to ever go back and I dont think I will.

You know how a lot of malls are starting to die? This mall is not dying, but its found some sort of compromise to avoid it. Every mall has a hot topic and two or so department stores and a claires and whatever else, but the rest of the stores in this mall are very trashy. Wigs and suspicious massages and jewelry or stores that sell only baseball jerseys. I spent most of my time in only a little handful of stores, the rest i had zero interest in. But almost every storefront was occupied. Maybe they found their niche.

went to get an ornament for my sons first Christmas and the lady was highly rude when I asked if she could open up a booth first before the other two since no one else was around for the other two. she took her sweet time while opening them and then looked at me and said well I dont think Im gonna help you since you have an attitude. I asked for for a managers number and she replied with Im not giving you anyones number. these generations of kids have no respect for anyone

i worked here, awful place. the workers in most stores are rude, especially at aeropostale. the teenage girl at the coffee place by auntie Anns always has her friends behind the bar, braiding hair by the drink station, her boyfriend always leaning over the counter, super unsanitary, the manager knows and says he doesnt care. the movie theater is okay. the food court is okay. piercing pagoda girls are somewhat nice. meh, not sure how that mall is still in business tbh.

So happy the finally added a movie theatre back! It was much needed and it definitely gets the business to show it. I havent been in the mall lately because after I see a movie its usually closed. But the theater is definitely 5 stars! Comfortable reclining seats and the popcorn and pretzels ate good too.. auntie Annes pretzels are better so if you have time to grab one of those before a movie you have yourself a perfect weekend date for under $30

Northgate is a particularly good mall. The retail outlets all have a great variety, and if youre interested in shopping for clothes or just have a day browsing, this place works. However, the best part of the mall is undeniably the movie theater. With cushioned leather reclining seats, massive displays, and a wide variety of films playing, this theater is always my first choice (despite living rather far away) for new movies.

The woman that manages this mall is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever met! DONT DO BUSINESS IN THIS MALL !!!!! She will lie to you about space...even go so far as to provide you with a lease - and then pull the rug out from under you and tell you she can no longer lease to you and then ignore you when you ask WHY !!!!! How she ever got her position is BEYOND ME!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE !!!!

I went to the move theatre and the outside of the place was trash everywhere, it should never look like that. Who ever manage the theatre really needs to clean the place up or get fired. Now when I went into the theatre it was nice, the restrooms where clean ,in the theatre the sits were clean and very comfortable. But they really need to do some cleaning up outside.
