Beau Rivage recently had a meeting with Catha O’reilly. On her own accord she came to the office to discuss how our account would work and to sign up Beau Rivage for our yearly application fee. I am the accountant at Beau Rivage and was not present for this meeting but after overhearing some of the conversation, I purposely listened to it in its entirety. The reason being, I have not heard such a professional presentation of a service in quite some time. Catha explained how the account would work for our different company departments and what they needed to bring to ensure that they could cash out and receive their purchase. This is very important to us because we often entertain outside guests who have the privilege to order exactly what they want on the menu. The timing of receiving our purchase is very important as our Chef Dean often makes the trip himself. Ellen Walker, co-owner of Beau Rivage and a few employees had questions and Catha answered them in full. So, on behalf of Beau Rivage, I want to thank Catha for such a professional meeting. It was a pleasure. Costco is fortunate to have Catha as an employee.

Bad experience wit new Citi Card. Been using the card successfully for about three weeks. Went on vacation 120 miles from home. The card transaction went through at a local super market but, was denied for a kayak rental. The fraud department was called and after 12 minutes wait on the phone we were told all was well. The reason rental company was asked to rerun the transaction and the transaction was denied again. A call back to Citi using the number on the card resulted in a one hour and 10 minute wait before we hung up. A later call took 48 minutes before there was a disconnect not initiated by me. Noticed an email about the suspicious transaction. I followed the steps in that email all should be well. Well see. AmEx never had wait times like Citi has. Wonder of anyone from Costco called Citi before deciding on the new card. This is a new low for Costcos customer service

I ordered new eye glass lenses to be placed with an existing frame. After a few days I received a text announcing that the glasses were ready for pickup. Upon arrival the staff could not locate the glasses and eventually contacted the lab. The lab informed them that the glasses were never sent because the frame was damaged. The lab neglected to inform the store and sent only the lenses back with the invoice. The frames remain at the lab. The result is my original frame and glasses have been rendered useless and I am without a backup to contacts. The optical staff stated that they will overnight replacement glasses at no cost within a few days. If this occurs I will consider their ability to correct a problem a positive worthy of a better review. If the Costco incompetence accelerates by failure to deliver then the apologies with transition into liability.

Im a huge fan of Costco, so 5 stars is easy for me. The service here is casual, friendly and helpful. Products are always fully in stock, samples are plentiful, and theres usually a good rotation of products to keep things interesting. As Costco is known for, there are some really great deals, both permanent and rotating, temporary products. When grocery shopping, I always stop here first and see what I can knock off my list. Unfortunately, this is a smaller costco than others that Ive been a customer at. Ive noticed that there are products at other Costcos that this one may not have, but Ive still been satisfied with the selection here. Ill always choose to buy something at Costco versus anywhere else if given the chance.

We got some tires from Costco, with in mind realizing how busy they are, we called to make an appointment to get them put on, we were told that they didnt make appointments and it was first come first serve. When we arrived they told us it was a 3 hour wait, you can indeed make appointments and what they meant by that was that they were booked for the day. Had we known that those two things meant the same we wouldnt of driven an hour away to get them. The two men in the tire place were extremely rude to us about it, not understanding of our frustration. We returned them and went somewhere els.

I have been a Costco member for 21 years so I obviously like the store. The only thing I dont like about them is that there are just some items that you never see there. For example, I would like to be able to buy dried beans, corn meal and graham crackers there just to name a few things. You wont find them there. The other thing is that you have to buy large quantities. One and two person households cannot benefit from this in the grocery shopping experience. There $1.50 hotdog deal for a footlong and refillable soft drink is the best deal on the planet IMO.

This is my local Costco so I may be somewhat biased in my review. I like the layout of this store. The staff have always been friendly and helpful when Ive asked for assistance with something. Ive particularly have interacted with the butchers in the meat dept. They are very knowledgeable in the meat cuts and how you might prepare something you might not be familiar with. Tip- As Im sure it is with other Costco stores, this store can be extremely busy on the weekends. If you need something quick, get there early or avoid the weekend if possible.

I wish I could give Costco a 0 rating so that I can keep this store all to myself... Love Costco and all the Kirkland products. Meat is always top tier. As with any wholesaler, their fruits and vegetables can go bad fairly quickly after buying it (ie. bananas). They have excellent, cheap dine-in or take-out food (pizza, hotdogs, etc.). Cheapest gas in Wilmington. And honestly, the people that work here are awesome! Only bad things is that its crowded all the time (even during weekdays).

I always enjoy a shopping trip to Costco when I am visiting Wilmington. It is usually very busy no matter what day or time that you go for your shopping, so it is never a quick run in and grab what you need and run out. They always have such a great selection of merchandise who would want to just quickly run in for shopping at Costco. I have always had good customer service and very satisfied with the selections that I purchase. They also have a very large assortment of organic foods.

Asked a fat old who worked there for help. I just asked where the peanuts were. I was looking for spicy ones. He just stood there and looked at me. I thought he didnt hear me. I asked again. Same response. I said thank you very much you have been no help. This place has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service and has gone down hill since the doors opened. Never again will I ever go there. They all act like your stealing when you never stole anything in your life. I hope corporate gets this.

We have been a member of Costco for over 25 years and had a problem on very rare occasions, when ever a problem occurs it has always been handled quickly and efficiently, and without exception to my satisfaction. I do wish they had a larger selection of tire brands, but they carry good brands and usually at the best price. We have purchased our electronic items there as well as food items and all our prescriptions and without a problem.
