Like others have said here, my experience was not a pleasant one. And regardless of what happened with me here is the bottom line- at Home Comfort you are not valued as a customer. When we bought our furniture we bought five pieces, a table and chairs, a leather chair, a rocker recliner, and a loveseat. We got the warranty and spent at least $3K. The rocker recliner and the loveseat are the same material. When we bought the peices, we were assured that the fabric would wear well even with our animals - and should there be any damage our service warranty would cover damage though it would not wear and tear. This made us buy from Home Comfort rather than LazyBoy which I really regret that decision. I bought the furniture in DEC 2015, and sent a complaint to the Captial Store in OCT 2016 for the loveseat - the problem - the couch material has worn horribly, it looks to be 5+ years old rather than one. Through many phone calls an outside company used for service came out and assessed the damage, they agreed to recover the couch (btw the servace company is excellent- thanks Sean)... also I was told by home comfort that my protective covers (for our animals) might be doing more harm than good - so I removed them - then I was told that the damage and pet hair was the issue - well the damage was there before I took the covers off- and well once I did... yeah I have pets. Due to holidays and schedules, I just got them recovered but they only recovered the seats - and will not do the rest of the couch, the service company did an excellent job in what they recovered, but the store will not recover the rest of the worn material... So now I have a couch, 1/2 recovered, 1/2 horribly worn material... I will not buy from Home Comfort again. So Buyers be warned, the sales representatives just want to make a sale, the stores have no interest in stocking quality products or making things right with the customer when there is an issue. They do not stand by their customers nor do they correct errors when they occur. Home Comfort did try to work with me, but only to their satisfaction not mine. If only the seat area was damaged when the service representative came, I would be satified but that was not the case. They can say I am asking for too much, but when I bought a kayak from REI and a year later we noticed random bolts were falling out of the seat area when we went to the lake, REI replaced the Kayak with a brand new one - no questions asked. This was never what I was expecting with Home Comfort - but that is how you value your customers business and get them to return. Ironically when I read the post and reviews... it seems I was not the only one with similar difficulties I will know now to read reviews first.

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!! I thought I was buying from a reputable company. I purchased a $1500 couch set with an additional warranty. Upon delivery, one of the arm rests was caved in but the driver strategically placed a pillow in front of it so I wouldnt notice until later but I had waited over 3 months for the couches so once I finally noticed I just ignored it and moved on. Over the next year, all 4 arm rests have completely caved in. We use the couches like normal people, no one has sat on any of the arm rests, they have all caved in just from normal everyday use. The warranty company refuses to cover it because they say its defective furniture needing to be covered by the manufacturer, and Home Comfort and the manufacturer refuse to cover it because they call it normal wear and tear. All 4 arm rests caving in so much that I have nails and wood boards poking in to me within 1 year on a $1500 couch set is normal wear and tear? Are you kidding me?! The lady on the phone told me that you shouldnt lean or put your head or any part of your body on arm rest. Basically dont touch it at all. I was actually about to furnish two more more bedrooms in my home but I will NEVER buy from Home Comfort again. Take your business elsewhere because they wont back up the furniture they sell.

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. The only two pleseant people I spoke with were Richard and Kim at the Glenwood location. After I rescheduled my delivery a week later, the driver calls and says he is 10 mins away. 30 mins later, he is still a few minutes away. 30 mins later I am calling the store to see what is going on because my furniture is no where to be seen. Tara at the Glenwood location was rude by not even letting me talk and explain what the driver and his helper said. So she says well I have to speak to the driver and find out what actually happened. ACTUALLY, so now Im the one lying? Well she calls me back and gets a completely different story from the delivery guys. So I cancelled the order because apparently I am the liar here. I did fall in love with the furniture after looking into dozens of stores and signing the papers for a purchase of $3K so I wasnt spending $20 here, but if they didnt want our money maybe someone else will. So, just save yourselves some time and go elsewhere :-)

About 3 years ago, I purchased a sectional sofa. The sofa has been nothing but problems. I was assured by the sales associate that the sofa was a good quality solid item, that should hold up very well. After 3 years, the sofa cushions may as well not be there, the wooden brace along the bottom center of one of the sections has broken, and is hanging down underneath. The broken frame also punctured the bottom of one of the cushions above it, tearing a hole out of the fabric and chunks of the core. The seams are coming out of the corner of the chaise, and a zipper has come off one of the cushions, making it impossible to even change the cushion core. Its absolutely unacceptable that they would sell such a bad quality item, I should not have to be even considering replacing a sofa that only I use, after 3 years. After weeks of no response, I went by the store and showed pictures of the sofa. I was offered a mere $200 towards a new sofa, shop elsewhere for much better quality.

EXTREMELY Frustrated! We ordered furniture in May 2013 and were told it would take 6 - 8 weeks. It is now August 2013 and we still do not have the furniture. The supposed "firm" date of completion has been pushed back from July 19th to August 9th to now August 31st! The materials are in and nothing is on back-order. The order was placed through Brohill and I do not believe Home Comfort has done what they could to push the order through, they just keep saying that Brohill will not give them an answer as to why the furniture is taking so long. We spent a significant amount of money there and were planning on buying more furniture to complete the room. Not anymore. This is beyond ridiculous! I hate that I already paid for the furniture and am not even able to use it!
