My car battery died all of a sudden. I checked online and Advanced Auto Parts showed up on my Google search results. I have also noticed they install it for me if I purchased from them. I also noticed they give 20% discount when I purchase online. I went to the store after 30 mins. My order was ready store person wasnt friendly. I asked him simple questions like "I ordered online is this the best battery for my car" He was like I dont know I have to check. Even though he answered my questions his tone wasnt friendly. May be he is like that with all customers I dont know. Another employee David helped me install my Battery. He was very calm and friendly answered all questions and patiently cleaned my battery terminals and replaced it.

This is the only parts store (Western Blvd location ONLY) I know where the people working there actually do a lot of work on their own cars or seem interested in cars. They are nearly always helpful (yes, sometimes when it gets busy its hard to know what to do) and never, ever upsell you on BS fuel injector cleaner or other wastes of money. If you have a big project they will help you with the details and will recommend good solutions to problems you encounter. I do not go to any other Advance Auto Parts locations or their competitors - this is it for buying locally.

I went to this location for the free battery and alternator check because my car had issues starting. As it turns out my battery needed to be replaced. They did it in no time and even provided me with a discount. No unnecessary up-selling, just the facts. Awesome service!

BEWARE: I do not recommend using the "mobile mechanic" they recommend. They completely stripped my O2 sensors and ended up costing me a ton of money to repare my car. Go to a real garage. The Meineke near by is great.
