Made a 45 minute drive to this establishment to inquire about a sewing embroidery machine. The staff working were inattentive and unhelpful. I was told that because I was looking in the $3,000 range that I should "go home and shop on Amazon" and did not want to discuss financing on a $3,800 machine. After leaving, I contacted the shop owner about my experience and was told that I should have made an appointment - even though the website does not express this.

My husband and I spent a few days at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville last August. Being an avid quilter I visited several quilt shops in the area. I found Beginnings to be delightful....a good inventory for the shop size....friendly, helpful staff, excellent prices and some really good sale items.
