I have nothing but rave reviews for the Fabric Warehouse and their staff. I first went into Fabric Warehouse to find out why my Designer 1 was not operating properly. Becky (the owner) took the time along with Colleen to triage the machine and spent quite a bit of time finding out what was wrong. After resolving the issues the machine worked like a charm. She neither charged me nor recommended it be sent out for service. It was at that time I decided to take courses and signed up for Machine Operations and Embroidery instructed by Melody. Melody is definitely a professional sewer and knows every Viking like the back of her hand. She insures everyone is on the same page and spends time with those of us who struggle. After a month I did decide to upgrade and bought a wonderful machine. I have always been leery of salespeople telling me one thing about a product only to find out it was part of a sales pitch. Melody was totally truthful about all aspects of the machine and gave me a fair trade on my machine. After dealing with her I will only buy from Fabric Warehouse. Not sure why there were negative comments but I do know when they are with a customer that the customer has their attention and the staff member does not just leave and help someone else. Im sure that if they had found a staff member they would have been helped. Thank you again Fabric Warehouse!

I have only been to this store once, being from Orlando we have alot of quilt stores here, but my Mom and I wanted to see the other quilt stores around the state. I had picked up over $100 in fabric and begining to pay for my purchases, when I saw their sign about machines and repairs listed Brother, I enquired about a ruffling foot to which I was told with an extreme amount of attitude "We sell the best and fix the rest" that if I tried one of their machines I would never use my brother sewing machine again. I was so shocked by this it was after I paid my $100+ for my purchases when I thought I should have told her to take the fabric back as my inferior machine would certainly not be able to sew it. I will certainly never go back! Patchwork Pig in Lakeland and Heart to Heart are worth the trip but we will be passing Fabric Warehouse right on by. And my Brother machine is still stitching right along!

I am new to quilting and sewing and had a little project that I needed fabric for and went to check out this store. They have a pretty big selection, but after my experience today with customer service I wont be going back. The 6 people "working" there did not greet me nor did they even really acknowledge my presence. I walked around the store somewhat lost and didnt know where to find the fabric I was looking for. I walked around for about 10-15 minutes then gave up and left. I was thinking about signing up for some classes here, but now I know better. Thanks Fabric Warehouse for the wonderful service.

My friend and I are very new to sewing, and my friend was given a serger we did not know how to use or thread. We walked in with the machine,and the owner spend at least an hour with us fixing,threading,and testing the machine. She did not charge us, ask us to buy anything, was super friendly, and did not treat us like idiots for having no idea what we were doing. The woman literally donated more than an hour of her time to us just so we could have a better time sewing the worlds simplest skirts. We left the store delighted that such personal, charming, small town service still exists.

Im so glad that I stumbled upon Fabric Warehouse a few years ago. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It is clear that everybody who works there has a passion for sewing along with great product knowledge and creativity to help you with what youre looking for. Visiting this store is something that I really look forward to and happily drive 30 minutes for! I highly recommend Fabric Warehouse if youre looking for higher-end beautiful fabrics, supplies and expertise! Family owned and operated and you will leave feeling like family as well!

I drove 40 miles to Lakeland to upgrade my 4D Software to 5D in September. I enjoyed their friendship and knowledge so much that when I came back to install the software in my computer…my husband ended up purchasing the top of the line Diamond Royal embroidery machine. Their prices were fair and trade-in on my machine was handled with much satisfaction. I now drive over on Saturdays for machine ops and whenever I need help with a project Im working on. I love this place because of the people.

I wouldnt be able to say why the other reviewer was not greeted properly as any time I was there everyone who walked in was greeted and asked if they needed help. I would give the place another chance no one is perfect, we all have bad days. As reference to the overcharge of the other reviewer all she had to call and tell them and it would have been taken care of. How can she say it was done on purpose, did she call them with the problem? They have great fabric, classes and etc.

Im glad I didnt let the only 2reviews deter me from going to this store. I was greeted when I walked in the door. I was asked if I need any help or was looking for anything special and I was immediately assisted. This is a great fabric warehouse. They have name brand quilt fabric and more. Brushed cottons, wide fabrics, etc. Holly and Libby were very nice and when I come back to Lakeland I will go again.

Visited this place for the first time today. Received no greeting upon entry and during my entire time in the store, no one offered any assistance. Instead, I was met with occasional stares. Im not sure if I missed a memo stating that I didnt being in there but I wont be going back ever again; Ill stick with Jo-Annes.

The wonderful staff at Fabric Warehouse is why I gave it five stars. I started my relationship with them two years ago when I bought my first Husqvarna Viking embroidery machine. They carry a wide selection of quality fabrics, notions and offer tons of classes.

I would not recommend this location. NO customer service!!!!! First thing, no greeting or acknowledged that I walked in. Walked around the store for 15 mins and no one asked if I needed any assistance. I guess if they dont know you, your not a customer.

The Fabric Warehouse is a great place to buy fabric and sewing/ embroidery machines. They have a friendly staff and offer tons of classes. Its an awesome place to come to if you love to sew!

Wide selection of prints, but more limited on fabric types. Definitely a perfect place to get fabrics for quilting or making bags/wallets.
