I went to make a payment and my daughter had a return. After that we went to cell phone department & looked around. I saw a rep go to electronics case, I asked to see a phone. He annoyed me and kept looking in case. Maybe he couldnt here? Not sure. So I asked several times could I see a phone when he got a chance. He rudely starting walking off then said "What phone." His body language and voice was saying leave me alone. I was startled from his response. He went back to counter, so did I, to keep my place in line. He told me the phone was on display . So I went to look at it, but just as I suspected the phone did not have camera & processor info there. Thats why I asked from the start to see the locked one. Minutes later he went with me to get phone. He unlocked it; handed it to me. I said here you go and gave it back. All I needed to see was the processer & camera info inside flap of case. He walked off saying "I will put it up later?" Not sure why he was saying that, because its his job. So I went back to the line. After a few minutes, of waiting in the line. The store was closing in less then 30 minutes, I asked him to point me in direction of the unlocked phones. He looked furious and took his time answering me. The lady sitting said can you wait? I said no, that I am shopping too and she need to mind her business. Not to mention, neither of the two workers, never acknowledged me from start. I called back to speak to a manager, I got transferred to the same guy. I started explaining what happened, he said " Let me stop you right there" You the rude lady that kept interrupting me! I asked his name, position and to speak to another manager. He said I am the manager. I am closing the store tonight. He was talking about me to someone while I was on the phone. Said he Quincy, mobile phone supervisor. He said a lot of sarcastic stuff to me, repeatedly on the phone. Two bad experiences in two days. I will never be back!

The store itself has some decent options, however the customer service at this store is horrible. My fiancée and I were in there twice to attempt to purchase a laptop (we left the first time after waiting for over an hour with no help, and being promptly dismissed when we approached a sales rep on the floor). The second time we went back, after waiting again with no one even acknowledging us for 20+ minutes, we decided to go over to the customer service counter simply to see if a laptop we were interested in purchasing was in stock. Customer service at this time was not busy, yet the man that was helping us there was probably one of the laziest people I have ever met.The lady in front of us needed to return something and his response was "Yep I cant help you with that" and just walked off, leaving her speechless. When it was our turn unfortunately the same man came back and said that I needed to go over to the computer secton. I explained to him we had already been over there and couldnt find anyone. He took the paper, and looked up the laptop for me but proceeded to act borderline petulant that we were asking for his help throughout the entire exchange, it was very off putting and confusing. So all and all he just didnt feel like looking it up and was noticeably rude to multiple customers. You would think that when making a +$1k purchase like that, the store would have people in there that actually liked marketing the product and making a sale. Its unfortunate, this store needs more people on the floor during peak hours with better management interventions.

If it wasnt for me having a gift card with 16 bucks on it I most likely would not return to this location. I used to work for Best Buy back in Highschool and know the policies and procedures regarding customer greetings and service. At no point did a sales floor associate attempt to even acknowledge me even when coming well within 5 feet of more than one of them. As bad as Best Buy is hurting for sales you would think they would be more attentive. Not that I had any set expectations of my experience but it could have and should have went better than it did. The only point at which contact with an employee is when I walked up to the service desk to check out since all two of the open front registers had a queue. When I did attempt to checkout their credit card terminals advertise the Tap and Pay symbol for contactless payments but they simply do not go through. Employees advised that the functionality hadnt worked since its inception into the store. She ended that convo with Welcome to Best Buy and I see why they are in the spot they are. Come on Best Buy its time to tighten up.

I ordered a usb flash drive online. Supposedly there were 3 in stock. Went to Best Buy to pick up my flash drive. Instead of a flash drive they had set aside a sd card for me. I waited for half an hour while someone supposedly was trying to find the flash drive for me. Finally I was told they did not have that item in stock, and it was not going to be there anymore either. I cancelled my order, advised them of what their website said, about 3 flash drives still being in stock, and told them I would go to another store. An employee at an electronics store who cant tell the difference between an SD card and a flash drive?? A website that shows 3 in stock, when theres nothing?? Having to wait for half an hour while someone is trying to locate his brain?? And that is why brick and mortar stores are doomed. Normally I order stuff like this online. Because I needed it by tomorrow I made an exception. My mistake obviously.

I recently visited this best buy because there was a TV that was online but was sold out. Also the ad online did not specify that the tv could only be purchased online. When I presented the ad to the associate he showed my printed ad to his general manager, Randy Peace who said that he would not honor the online price of 189 & we could buy the tv for 429 from his store. He want further to say that he had the "final say". Not to mention the fact that he didnt even want to come out and talk to us at all & after his rude display we asked for the district managers information to report Randy & he gives us the best buy 1 800 number... Needless to say I will never buy anything from this particular best buy & maybe no other best buys because I called the 1 800 number and they said that best buy had made a mistake with the pricing and that no store would honor their online ad.

The store pick up option is HORRIBLE. Within the past week I have tried to use it twice. Once was for a 19" tv. I waited around 3 hours and when I didnt hear anything regarding my order I went to the store. There was no line at the store pick up location. I went to the tv section, picked up my tv, and brought it to the store pick up location and checked out. Second time, I placed an order for a micro sd card that was on sale. Over 5 hours later, the order was still not ready to be picked up. I canceled my order. Ordered the same sd card from Staples who had it ready to be picked up in less than an hour. They also PRICE MATCHED Best Buys sale price. If Best Buy and Staples have the same item, Im going to Staples. Best Buy states that most orders can be picked up within 45 minutes. NOT at the Greensboro location!
