Just purchased over $6000 of product on my sons bedroom suite and our bed. Our Sons furniture was not correct when it finally arrived and we sent back. Sales lady (Angela) on first day we were there was very slick and told us what we wanted to hear "you have 90 days to bring back" on a TEMPUR-PEDIC and moving base, we purchased and gave it 2 weeks and figured out that for sure we could not sleep on it at all. Called Ashley back they said "well give it 2 more weeks and lets see if you get use to it" so we did, still cant sleep on it. So we went in to the Ashley store, Then they tell us the $1500 base is not refundable! So after I almost ripped their head off for not telling me that when I purchased it we picked out a regular mattress that we both liked that was cheaper, ($1200) then they told us that the exchange had to be at the same price! Then we were very ticked off so talked to a manager (Nicholas Vega) he was no help at all told us however we could pick what ever out and he would exchange, costing us $300 to exchange the $2600 mattress! We agreed and waited until the day before the deliver date and called to find out that no order was made to deliver anything! My wife and I both got on different phones and both called at the same time, She was told that our sons bedroom suite was now cheaper than we paid, (we were also told while signing financing papers that we could call and get sale price within the first 30 days!) The lady on the phone gave the call to someone else that explained that because we financed we could not get the sales price! Would they really give us a sale price after purchase if we bought in cash? So do they give cash back to a customer when they have a sale on the same item they just purchased days before? I doubt it My call was the 2nd call in the same day talked to the same guy (John) that told me he would find out and call back, waited 7 hours and called again and then he says he will get the manager to call me. So no new mattress for us just a over priced sponge on a motorized base that we cant sleep on. Dont be surprised if Ashley Furniture closes in Greensboro, I will do my part in making that happen! If it was legal I would burn the building down!

I have been looking for a counter height square table that seats 8 for a couple of months. I have been in several stores, but no one had what I was looking for, and they were not willing to help me to locate one. I came into Ashley Furniture in Greensboro, NC, and Joyce Donahue assisted me. She was very friendly and personable, and put me at ease from the beginning. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me, taking me around to see the different styles, listening intently to what I was telling her. I did not have any intentions of purchasing a table today, but the quality of the table that I found, coupled with the price and service received from Joyce prompted me to purchase it on the spot. I am anxiously waiting for the delivery and set up on my new table, but to this point, I am pleasantly surprised, and very pleased with the service I have received. I have referred my sister here, and she is looking to make a purchase, too. In a few months, when I am looking to replace my living room furniture, I will be back to do business with Joyce again.

I do not recommend Ashley. Overall store visit and experience was poor. Sales persons Cherrelle was barely knowledgeable, equipped with no tools but spoke very high of themselves (actually this is all she had – we make our own furniture … we know what is in it, we can deliver faster than anyone, we are soooo much better than rooms to go or anyone else etc). we purchased sofa and love seat on Jan12, we were promised delivery on Feb 5 ( like 25 days from purchase date – Yes. We took it because my wife liked the style). Today (Feb 5th) they called to say it can not be any sooner than Feb 19th. When I asked for cancellation because we have a get together at the weekend and I MUST need something, I was told of 25% restocking fee. ( they don’t understand this cancellation is because of their mistake). When asked to speak with manager .. I was told he is busy. When I asked to speak with sales person I locked sale with, I was told she is off today and tomorrow. Poor experience. I strongly recommend not to purchase from them unless they have it ready.

Awful experience.Went in looking for a table that we were interested in,Could not find it at 1st glance where I 1st saw it.I was offered help by a salesperson and he wasnt familiar with my description of a small coffee table with drawers,So he proceeded to walk me over to a table with several catalogs and said if I saw it in any one of them,to let him know.I didnt see the table in any of them,so I informed him that I didn"t see it,so I asked if we could look online to see if I could locate it.He said that he couldnt pull up the company website on their computer.He suggested I go home and look it up online and call him back.So as I was departing the store (fuming),another salesman asked what was wrong and I told him what the prior salesman told me.He proceeded to walk me over to a computer and we looked it up immediately.I did not buy it because it went up around $50.00 from the prior visit.And I will probably never give this store another visit again.

I just purchased a brand new home!! But was at a loss as to how to decorate, paint and what furniture to put where. I worked with a couple of different sales people but my savior was there store designer, David. He came in to meet me on his day off and spent several hours picking the perfect colored accessories, paint swatches, drew out how the rooms would look and how each piece would fit. I spent thousands of dollars at Ashley but I was never made to feel like a customer. I felt like everyone truly wanted to help me achieve a perfect look. The store manager, Christian, introduced himself, brought me water, and even loaded all my accessories and pillows into my car while I pulled up for literal curb side service. Everyone in the store is amazing, everyone should make it their business to shop at Ashley off Wendover Ave.

Worst place ever to buy furniture. I bought 4,000 worth of furniture and 4 out of the 5 pieces has broken within a year and a half. The bedframe completely broke in the middle so the mattress blew out and I bought the extended "guardsman" protection plan and they said it wouldnt cover it. On TOP OF EVERYTHING. I was told my payments would be 151 a month for 12 months for the furniture and 18 mo. for the mattress and if I paid this I would not be charged interest. Well they split the accounts (which I was not aware of) and I ended up paying 700.00 in interest for furniture that I was promised would be interest free. Seriously the worst decision Ive ever made and I have not received any compensation or help at all for this issue even after buying the 300.00 protection plan.... DO NOT GO HERE.
