I brought a used car from this dealership at the end of Feb. It is not July and my car has broken down. I put 2000.00 down for the car and my payments were 300.00 a month for a 97 Honda Accord. Everyone told me my payments were too high and that I paid way more than Kelly Blue Book value for the car but I was just happy to have my first car. Around the end of June the car started to leak Anti-Freeze and when I had it towed back to the shop I found out the car needed a new engine due to a crack in it. From the time I bought the car, the radio stopped working and they assured me I only had to get a code to reset it. I feel stupid for not having the car inspected before I bought it, and for not taking a man with me and jumping into the situation with the first dealership I went to. This whole experience has been ABSOLUTE HELL AND A HEADACHE. The engine on the car locked and the car is of no value so a trade in is not an option and the dealer has informed me that I would have to put down a deposit to get another car, and agree to new payment terms. Problem is I used majority of my savings as a down payment on this car. Now I can not possibly empty my savings for another car. I still have to pay my other bills and god forbid me or one of my children get sick. I would not have any form of a safety net. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND IF YOU BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP GET A THOROUGH INSPECTION BRING YOUR OWN MECHANIC.

Highlights if your budget is tight: The owner (Walt) allows installment payments. Highlights if you own a Volvo: The technician (Roscoe) knows a ton about Volvos -hes a certified Volvo tech and drives them himself. My Volvo 850 (97 turbo) had a check engine light come on about a month ago, along with the automatic transmission warning light, and felt like it was slipping out of gear momentarily here and there, but still drivable. The most urgent issue though was a radiator leak that seemed to be getting worse and worse. Also was worried about blueish-gray smoke from the exhaust once in a while. I took it to the shop I bought it from (who specialize in Volvos), and with all these issues they reccomended I not put any more money into it, except maybe just to nurse it along to get back and forth to work, but that I should just plan on letting it go. I happened to run into Roscoe a week later though and he told me to bring it. When I brought it in he ran a diagnostic test FOR FREE even though they were busy at the time. He found out what was causing my engine/transmission warning lights. Also replaced my radiator cheaper than estimated at my previous shop. Also, DID NOT CHARGE me for an alignment because their alignment place had a scheduling mishap and mine wasnt done on time. Also, found a broken tie rod and replaced that too. Great service. Friendly folks. Another place making Durham great.

I had purchased a car a year ago and it ran great.I traveled all over and still Betsy wouldnt let me down.Thats what I called her.Now today I had totaled lost my car and didnt know what to do.I prayed and I called Craig Motors. They put me in a car,low payments and no down payments .Ohhhh yeah to top it off I got a full tank of gas and my favorite diet mountain dew.lol.This is the place to go if you really need a car.I recommend Craig Motors to anyone, just give them a try and you will be totally satisfied Staff is awesome and they make you feel so comfortable. I purchased a 1998 toyata camry le from craige motor. The car ran excellent from 2008 until now. Craiges service center kept me rolling at a fraction of what dealers and other garages estimated. I returned this year because my family demographic has changed. Walt welcomed the camry back as a valuable trade, and my next purchase from him, a mini-van, is functioning as steady and ready as the camry. I am dedicated to their service center and look forward to many more years of association.

Please do not purchase from this dealer, I have a family friend who purchased from this dealer and on his way home the car completely broke down! He had to take the vehicle to his local Honda dealer who then quoted repairs at over 8500$ for a 6500$ vehicle!! When my friend called to return the vehicle the owner literally said "this isnt Walmart you dont get to return a vehicle!" Its unreal! They are the definition of a shady dealer! Go anywhere else but here!

I sold my car to Walt a few weeks ago. He gave me a great price and was completely negotiable. I accidentally left something important to me in the car and he went above and beyond to ensure its safe return to me. On top of all that, he took my car that was in shambles and I saw it a week later looking brand new passing me on I-40. On the same day I went in I was helped immediately. It was not too busy. The first car I looked at I fell in love with, it was a great running car, very clean on the inside, the engine sounded superb. Paperwork and everything went very well and did not take a long at all. Everyone was nice and friendly and made sure I was getting exactly what I came to look for. I would recommend a friend or family member to their lot!

Dont use this dealership! there are tons of other quality buy here, pay here places in the area. I came here to get a copy of paperwork I signed back in November with my husband thinking it wouldnt be a big issue and the owner told me to get my black ass out! Not sure why my request mad him so mad? Maybe they were doing some illegal business but crazy customer service!

I got here by chance and was amazed to find an honset businessman and a very polite staff. The variaty of cars is good and I found the car I wanted quite fast. That was 4 months ago, the car runs great and I still go there for service and they find every way not to charge me.....when you buy a car do some price bidding-it should work
