Before I came to West Herr Honda, I made the grand mistake of going to Crazy Cheap Cars in Oakfield! Now, those people literally put the slime in slimy cars salesmen! They are the exact reason I detest buying a car. I have never met a more unethical, dishonest, vulgar, bunch of people in my life. I literally felt like I needed to be cleansed after walking out of that place. My experience was so bad, I walked out of a so called deal. The moment I walked in the place, I knew i was in the wrong place. I felt the BS and lack of integrity right off the bat, and then it got worse. I did my homework before I walked in the door and they were counting on me being "desperate" to buy a car. The problem for them was I was far from desperate and I knew my facts and was armed before I came there. They tried to cut down the value of my trade in, that I was well aware of the value before I came there. They insulted me with a lame offer of $1000 for my vehicle that I knew was worth much more. They were grossly vulgar in their customer treatment, telling me quote." We are not here to blow smoke up your butt." How disrespectful is that and just plain gross! And thats exactly what they did. I have never encountered more B.S and smoke blowing in my life. I went down to West Herr Honda a week later and actually purchased one of their cars on the spot. I also received a very nice trade in for my vehicle. My salesman Norman Daniels was TOP NOTCH! Now if you want to go to a place where they will actually treat you with respect, dignity and honesty, I HIGHLY recommend West Herr Honda. ZERO pressure there too! My experience was like night and day! I WILL return to West Herr, and HIGHLY recommend them. I will NEVER buy from Crazy Cheap cars. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Erik Arden met me in early evening when I walked into the dealership. I had just negotiated with two other dealers and earned what I thought was their rock-bottom price. Id also been cautioned that the color and trim level I sought was in short supply. Erik walked me out to the vehicle he had, gave me his impression of the features, went with me on a test drive and answered my questions in a matter-of-fact way. He put no pressure on me, and managed my expectations that he might not find the trim and color combination I wanted. The next day, he sent me his rock-bottom price, which beat the other dealers. Although the others matched the monthly payment with some urging, they couldnt beat the smaller down payment Erik offered, and this was his first bid. His numbers matched my own lease estimation within a dollar. I gave the business to Erik, and agreed that Id take the vehicle he had in stock if my combo didnt turn up. Over the next two weeks, Eriks persistence paid off -- he found my trim level and color and secured it, even though he had three similar orders from two prior customers who he had to satisfy first. I was amazed -- he had my business already and yet he didnt neglect my preferences, as though they were stretch goals for him. When I came to pick up the vehicle, Erik brought me through each step of the sale close. All of the numbers lined up with no surprises. We completed the transaction in about an hour, and Ive been very happy with my choices. Thank you, Erik. You earned the first of what I hope will be many purchases from me. Update: Eriks good treatment continue through four subsequent transactions. He even paved the way to work with his colleagues at another brand when his brands financing service couldnt meet my needs. Top notch.

My husband an I have had the pleasure of purchasing two cars as well as having them serviced at West herr Honda. It started with a simple oil change for our Honda (that unfortunately wasnt bought there). Ever since our first interaction with Joe Apolito in service, we have been loyal customers. He has helped with normal maintenance things to recalls and even sales! During a crazy time with the airbag recall, Joe was quick to calm my worries and provide outstanding customer service by contacting the rental company and giving me frequent updates during the long process. When we were ready to replace my husbands old truck we knew where to go. Joe put us in contact with an excellent sales person, Erik Arden, and even helped us look at cars and make a smart choice. We all know how time consuming the paperwork is, which seems even longer with an 8 month old. Joe stayed past his shift to push our daughter around in her stroller in the dealership so we could finish the paperwork with no issues! Such a different experience than any other time weve bought a car elsewhere. Needless to say when that brand new car was totaled after a tree fell on it 2 months later you know who we went to! Joe and Erik! All the employees we have interacted with have been very friendly, but Joe has made us West Herr customers for life.

We were on I90 east heading to Saratoga for our nieces wedding when all of a sudden the dash light for drive started to flash.. I called our local dealership in Ohio and they told us that indicated our transmission had a problem. I got out my smart phone and got the local dealership . West Herr Honda. We ha an appointment in 20 minutes. Once we arrived we were informed we ha a faulty switch in our transmission. Not only di they have he part; They dropped the transmission fluid and even offered to change the oil, our service advisor was Arthur Luke he did an outstanding job for us, I was very worried and I bothered everyone in the place because I was so worried. By 4:00pmwe we were back on the road and headed quickly headed out of town for the wedding. What a great help the staff was at West Herr Honda I cant thank them enough. I do not give compliments very often. Well maybe more like never. They did such a great job for customers from way, way out of town . We came back to give West Herr a second chance after two years. Last time we spoke on the phone with a sales associate who said he would hold a vehicle while we drove the two hours to get there. When we got there the vehicle was not there nor had it even been available at the time we made the appointment. They just wanted to get us on premise with lies about availability and then try to sell us completely different vehicles. This time we called ahead again and explained our frustration with our experience in 2015. This time the vehicle was there but they would not let us talk to another associate about it even though we had driven two hours, made an appointment for a specific time, and shown interest in the vehicle. The associate we were supposed to meet I guess was busy. There were several other associates standing around with nothing to do but they would not even talk to us. Made us wait an hour and didnt so much as ask if we wanted a drink. When you are there to purchase a 30-50k vehicle and they dont even pretend like your time is valuable it makes you wonder about their business mission and model. There will be no third chance. Wish I could give them minus stars for how slimy they seem.
