I went to the dealership armed with the value of the car from the NADA guide and before I even left my house I told them I wasnt too sure about the price they were asking for the car. Their phone rep said they could work with me on the price. When I got there Todd then told me that he couldnt come down on the price any further, but what he could do was "throw in" a two year bumper to bumper warranty. "Throw in" was his wording, not mine. At that point, my guy at the bank had done back and forth with him. Todd finally sent a break down of all of the charges to my guy at the bank... come to find out, the warranty wasnt "thrown in" at all. It was a $2k charge... it all felt a little shady to me, but I thought on it for a couple of days and convinced myself that hes a salesman and was just doing his job. So I contacted him and asked what the price of the car was without that particular warranty and what some other warranty options might be. His entire verbiage to me changed. It felt like he no longer wanted to speak to me at all. He ended the conversation with firmly stating he needed to know by the end of that day what I was going to do. The words he chose were such a turn off, had he not said what he did I probably wouldve gone ahead and purchased the car. But I didnt like the swift shift in his attitude, especially after Id felt like hed been all out shady and deceitful. Fast forward another week, Id visited four other dealerships and asked about many more vehicles elsewhere before finally settling on one located at the Toyota Dealership in Savannah, GA. The day after buying my car, my phone begins to ring with a Myrtle Beach number. I knew it was Todd. For a brief second I thought about just ignoring the call but my brain said to at least have the decency to let him know I wasnt looking anymore... so I answered. He greeted me, "Hello Mrs. Cantley. I was just trying to see if you had found a car or if we were still helping you out." I fought the urge to tell him Id been under the impression his deal expired the week before, but I instead put a smile into my voice and said warmly and excitedly, "I actually purchased one in Savannah yesterday." To which he snapped, "Well, I hope that works out for you." I was going to attempt to say to him, "Thanks! Me too!" when I heard the line click. This guy hung up on me! He ACTUALLY hung up on me! I was stunned! Id never been anything but polite and respectful even when I didnt like the way he spoke to me and he HUNG UP ON ME! Ive never took to an online forum to write a bad review on someone like this, but I am truly just flabbergasted and offended... and I am seriously a difficult to offend person. I had the notion to call him back and inform him that my husband could be in the process of purchasing a truck soon. Or I couldve been in the position to send him a referral. How would he know? Instead, here I am taking the time to write my first negative review of a business. Thanks, Todd! I definitely learned a thing or two about how Sparks does business.

I dont even know where to start thats how bad my experience has been with your service department! I brought my car in months ago for the oil consumption test on my 2008 scion tc for the recall and it passed the first test.... I knew Id be back before 3,000 miles because Id have no oil in my car and I was right! So they said they would have to redo the process of the test since the first test had been recorded on my totaled scions Vin# so I went through the process again and the car failed. I was told they would order the parts and call me to schedule my appointment over a month later and after 3 calls to check on my parts they finally set up an appointment after having to have my dad call! Every time Id call in to check on my parts I was given an attitude and was told they would call me! Finally I bring my car in on November 23rd and have them check another issue that was going on while repairing my engine. I was informed that it would cost me $1,095 to fix everything and although I knew that I was being ripped off I told them to go ahead and fix it because the car was not safe as is. When I went in Saturday to pick up my car I had to bring it right back! not only was the problem that I just paid $1,095 to get fixed was still not fixed my passenger window wouldnt roll down! When I brought it back the service advisor gave me a attitude and told the mechanic to get in that car with me and not come back till he heard that "noise" I was talking about in a nasty belittling tone! The service advisor told me that the mechanic would probably be fired because he sent me home with a car that wasnt fixed! First off you dont talk to another employee like that in front of a customer and second make it out to be my fault if he gets fired! From the very start of scheduling my very first oil consumption test I have been talked to and treated like my business doesnt matter! My family has purchased 8 brand new vehicles from your dealership and after multiple calls, surveys and complaints not once has Mr. Sparks returned our calls! Your customer relations manager treated me like I was not worth her time after speaking to her and the customer service manager the night before I picked up my car! I wasnt even offered a discount on the parts that are marked up 50% not even a complimentary service not even a sorry! If you think your business is to big to fail you are absolutely wrong! Ive heard many complaints about your service department other than my own! I will continue to give you bad surveys, tell people to not purchase a vehicle at your dealership and tell people about my experience and how our $170,000 worth of business doesnt matter! You should be absolutely ashamed of the people who represent your dealership!

This is a review of the parts department at Sparks Toyota. We live in Virginia and purchased a new to us 2010 Tundra a few years ago at our local dealer in Hampton, VA. Recently Ive been looking into replacing my stock mirrors with towing Mirrors to assist with the towing of our 32 travel trailer. I had done quite a bit of research online, google and Amazon and the like. A few weeks back I was at the dealer for service where we purchased the truck from and I was inquiring from the parts department about purchasing the mirrors from them. The guy at the counter did all he could to not sell me these mirrors telling me they would not fit, the electrical functions would not work and the lights on the new mirrors would not work because the truck did not come from the factory wired for lights. I proceeded to tell him that wasnt the case as I had done research online and if the vehicle was equipped with the towing package all functions should work and I was just interested in a price. He said "sonewhere in the $500 range" without even looking it up. Needless to say I gave up and left. After reading some info on Tundra Solutions website I saw lots of comments on people ordering tow mirrors from Sparks Toyota, great price and superior customer service. Well Im here to tell you that those comments are all true. Last Saturday I went to their website and proceeded to enter all my information (including the VIN for my truck so they could verify fitment) and ordered the mirrors at a price less than "about $500 and less than Amazon for factory mirrors. I received my mirrors via FedEx on Wednesday, expertly packaged and in perfect condition. During the entire process I received emails from Sparks on the process of my order including the tracking information. I installed the mirrors and all functions work as they should, including the marker and directional lights. If Im in the need of factory parts I will not hesitate to order from Sparks again even if it costs more to have it shipped and its a 5+ hour ride for us to get to Myrtle Beach but when were in the market for a new truck we just might ride there to take a look. Thanks to the parts department at Sparks.
