I have been coming to this shop for over a year on a weekly basis. Today for the first time i had to return a bag of rice because it smelled like raw sewage when boiled. The owner refused to take it back. Him and his wife argued with me for 15 minutes. This is the same brand that i had been buying from them before. Finally i told them that they dont have to take it back, i could just turn it into the health department and see of you are selling tainted rice that could be a public health risk. They finally relented and took it back. I really dont understand why they risked a $16 bag of rice and lose a regular customer who spends over $50 every week. And also refused to accept that this could be a public health issue and they should test that rice.

Each sip of zamzam water i have drink I keep on prays to for the best to all Sudanese brother who works over their. Zamzam water kind so expensive Prices moderates based on the area which its close to downtown The Prices of Mediterranean food and middle Eastern kind of need some type of budget But in perspective of earing that food you can pay but always compare your menu with other stores as well There is a lot of kosher HALAL MEAT AS WELL AS THEY HAVE I hope the best of luck to this MUSLIM STORE IN DURHAM.

I really enjoyed perusing the selection at Taiba Market. I was really excited about their selection of coffee and teas, and there were many things in the store that looked appealing to me/I want to try. They have a well-rounded selection of staple items, the store is clean, and the people working there are very nice. They also scored major points for being open on Christmas. Im really looking forward to my next trip and trying more of their products. Great market in a great location.

I visited the store last week and was really impressed with the new product selections that theyve brought. I also love their meat selection and the fact that their meats are halal and fresh. Fresh meat is delivered to store twice a week so you know that meat is not old.

Absolutely the Best HALAL store in Durham. Owner and son are FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL, and HELPFUL. For my fellow Muslims, rest assure the owner and son will always give you Salaams back and they will not do it shyly. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALWAYS.

My first time here. They were very friendly, especially explaining the difference from our meat and halal (my sister had A LOT of questions). I bought chicken and it was so delicious and fresh. I cant wait until I can get some beef.

The beef meat is superior! Very fresh and smells incredibly nice when handled. They also have a variety of authentic mediterranean and middle eastern items from Lebanon, Palestine, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq and other countries.

This market has unusual items Ive never seen at other markets. I got some Syrian cheese that was excellent and some middle Eastern sweets that were very good. Im curious about other items I saw. It also has a meat counter.
