This is our regular place to get groceries. Weve been showing here at least 8 years and weve noticed that theyve really started to carry more and more organic options and more brands that are "lesser known." It is not the largest Food Lion Ive ever been in and it is a little dated and old but the people are always nice and you can tell that they work hard. We will continue to shop here regularly and recommend it to others-mostly becasue of the price. Ive shopped at just about every other place in town and you really cant beat Food Lions prices. They really are the best balance of quality and price.

BRAND NEW FOOD I bought there was completely covered in mold. I bought a new loaf of bread and the next day it was covered in mold, the date even had a week ahead on it. ( I had much older bread still left, completely free of mold still) The milk is awful too. I dont know if they left it sit out, but it tasted like dish soap and sour water. Completely awful. Avoid any food lion in the area.

For the most part this is a good Food Lion. They dont have everything but the veggies are usually fresh and the meat is good. Check out people can be iffy. Some are nice some dont care. Its a crap shoot. Its very convenient.
