Let me first start off saying that I have been to this Kroger numerous times and done shopping for my family over the past four years. And all of my experiences have usually been great. But I decided to go one day and catch the Pepsi sale on 12 packs a few weeks ago, on this day the regional manager was in the store doing a walk-through with the store manager. They saw me load Pepsis (24 packs) into my cart as my old lady followed with another shopping cart full of groceries. Upon getting to the register the clerk says there is a limit, I said I asked the Pepsi guy who was only aisle he said there was no limit this week, I also do not see a limit listed in the paper, she said well there is a limit and it is managers discretion, you have to put them back if it is managers discretion why didnt you call a manager? You didnt instead you told me to put them back no cashier should be able to tell a customer to go put something back they should put it back themselves or get someone else who works in the store to do it. She told me to put them back because I was not willing to pay more than the sale price it clearly was no limit listed in the paper which I showed her and she still felt that she was right then she asked if I was buying them for resale that was none of her business nor it didnt matter if I was buying them for my garage fridge which we actually were, the church, or resell its none of your business what the customer is buying the product for and its more over none of your business when youre not the store manager who makes the calls, this turn me off from that Kroger and I have not been back since. Ive only done my shopping at the Lake Pine Kroger. But what really upset me is that not only were there regular managers and supervisors in the store you had a regional manager walking around and they actually said nothing to me when I was getting the sodas so what made her think she had the right to make the call normally when there is a limit it is printed on the sales tag on the shelf or posted inside the weekly circular, there was no limit at that time Its truly a shame after 4 years of constantly shopping at that store that I will no longer be there anymore now most of my business is spent at the Food Lion on Old Apex or the lake Pine Kroger.

Horrible... Worst experience ever... RACIST... THEY HARRASED ME AND MY FAMILY.. Here is the story: They had good prices for this week... So I went with my parents to tale advantage of the good deals... Only to find ourselves in a really uncomfortable experience... I like to pay in the self service registers because I can see that the prices are the same as the ones on the shelves, but because I had a large amount of cereals, it made the woman on the self service lines kind of nervous, and even before I started ringing my stuff she started telling me that I cannot get everything on my cart because it was unfair and unkind for other. Customers... I did not have that many, its not like a clean the shelves, anyways after that she calls the store manager or supervisor or whatever, and another cashiwr, and the three of them start discussing my order... They even say that they needed to keep an eye on us... I have forgotten to mention the fact that we are Latin Americans in Cary, NC, just in case USA citizens, living in this area for the last 5 years, and this is the first time I feel this offended... I am pretty sure they were acting like that because we are who we are, if I were a white lady with a bunch of coupons and taking advantage on the weekly deals, the story could have been different but instead me and my family were harassed by the employeeof this Kroger. By the time I was trying to go thru my second cart, they told I was taking too many items and that I couldnt buy anymore there... As if my money was less than anybody elses.... They are RACISTS, NEVER COMING BACK

Compared to Kroger locations in Georgia and Virginia, this one feels like an old Kmart on its last leg; a sick, sad outpost of a mighty retailer. I typically shop Whole Foods and Harris Teeter in this area but felt like stopping by a store I always had a favorable view of. Consider that favorable view now shattered. I shall stick to Whole Foods and Harris Teeter as their stores are well kept and not as, dare I say, trashy as this Kroger location. Even local Walmart locations feel and look nicer!!! This Kroger location is poorly kept, floors are dirty as well as cracked, produce selection is pitiful, checkout attendants make you wish you opted for self checkout because theyre rude. In light of all this, the bagger was very polite and probably the most professional person I encountered in the entire store. If anyone considers this a great store (and were talking just this individual location), consider them delusional. While Kroger typically has nice stores, its house brand items and sale prices remain decent at all locations... If youre a sale shopper. I just tend to buy what I need independent of sales and gimmicks.

THE WORST GROCERY STORE IN CARY: This has to be the worst grocery store in Cary. The store always smells like RAW SEWAGE in the bakery and deli area, the management can’t retain staff, there is always new faces and don’t even try looking for someone to assist or help you, you can’t find anyone. The food in the bakery and deli always seems old and the produce section is horrible. I stop shopping here and I live down the street, I just wish the Kroger Company would realize how bad this store is and do something about it. DO SOMETHING WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS STORE.

My goto grocery store! They have pretty much anything you could want here, with a great selection of vegan items as well. There is a really good selection of vegetables and they are of a good quality as well, including some organic options. The beer selection is pretty good, they have an entire aisle of wine choices and a nice variety of Sake. You can find many other non-food items here as well, I have even purchased printer paper here once. The only complaint I have is the prices are a little bit higher but that is likely due to the location (Preston).

I come here every week. If you shop during busy hours, its very frustrating getting around other customers with buggies because of how small the store is.. That is really my only complaint, but that is not the stores fault. Too many people live in Cary! The employees that check you out are all very nice, friendly and really seem to enjoy working here which is important. Affordable prices and the Kroger brands are 9 times out of 10 better than the name brands. I dont shop anywhere else.

Seems more cluttered, not as clean as other Krogers Ive been to, feels a little darker, dirtier & disorganized. It doesnt keep fully stocked when something is on sale. If you buy the last item, it may be awhile before back in stock and sale will probably be over. On a positive note, they have a lot of selections and good prices and their own brand that I have tried in several things has been excellent.
