DO NOT GO HERE I went hear craving Halo-halo and was meet with racism. The food was overpriced and looked very unappetizing like it was sitting for hours. The pictures that you see online are stock photos. My family and I entered the store to go to the Filipino restaurant and were greeted by racism. A middle aged Asian man ordered before us and was promptly severed. We (an African American family) waited for about 10 minutes while looking over the menu. Then my mother tried to get one of the staffs attention and was ignored. We waited about five minutes more while listening to the staff converse in Filipino and English. Then we decided to leaves after realizing that we would not be served. We will not be trying this place again.

Great store for all your Asian needs from beauty creams, to teapots and rice cookers, to all sorts of Asian groceries. They were the first Oriental market in the Raleigh area and have been around for more than 40 years! Their specialty though is Filipino products, and now they even have a take-out Filipino restaurant! The food is fantastic and for a reasonable price! Very authentic and great variety. Tastes home-made!

I've known about the Oriental store for over 20 years as this was the first and original in the triangle area. I highly recommend coming here and checking it out. They also recently added a take out Filipino Restaurant! It's the ONLY place in the area and the food reminds me of take out restaurants in NYC and SF. Don't hesitate to try something new because you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is one fabulous store. It has been a mainstay in the Raleigh community for most of my life and seems to only keep getting better. The new addition of the Filipino restaurant is much appreciated, as it is the ONLY one I know of in the triangle area. Not only is it unique, but also extremely authentic and very tasty! Very reasonable prices for those seeking a quick, causal, but comforting meal.

Good Filipino food. Dinuguan, laing, crispy pata, pinakbet....just to name a few of my favs. Mr. Kim can also help you with balikbayan boxes and money transfer to PI. His store has you covered when you feel like trying to make your favorite Filipino or Asian dish from patis to lemongrass. Even hard to find underwood liverwurst!!! 40 years serving Raleigh and the Triangle!

I was in here with my boyfriend over a month ago and it is the cutest little store! Despite the smaller size, it is jam packed with pretty much everything you need from an oriental grocery store. We were able to find everything we needed (and more!) The prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place if youre looking for oriental groceries.

The store offers Asian groceries as well as a genuine Filipino cuisine. The place is tidy and has a fairly small size dining area for families. Melinda, the head cook, will entice you with her delicious cooking the way its should be. Nice staff are welcoming too. Try and dine today the good and real food waiting for you!

Great store, variety of Filipino times. I was looking for Filipino grocery store to buy the ingredients i needed to make Singalong (not sure if i spelled it correctly), Tocino and Chocolate . The staff was so friendly and welcoming and I was able to find everything I needed. This is now my go-to Filipino store.

Love the store. Go there almost every week to eat and shop. Very good food and very friendly staff. Always greeted with smiles and very promptly. Never found them to be ever rasist. I have seen them take the time to not only talk about the culture to people unfamiar but also explain the food to them.

Great Filipino food! Lechon, pinakbet, beef steak, sinigang! Try the siopao(steamed pork and chicken buns!)

This is my favorite Oriental market of all of Raleigh. They are multifaceted in the supplies they carry. They will even make special orders if they can get it. I love the staff they are fantastic and speak English well.

The restaurant is a great find. Food is authentic and makes you feel like you are back in Manila. The portions are huge, why even bother cooking??? My favorite the Laing (Taro Leaves)...so super yummy.
