If your from out of town or live in Charlotte this is one of the spots you need to visit to get a taste of Charlottes life. This place has food, fun and entertainment. a bowling ally, movie theater, gym, bars, clubs, restaurants, a CVS, hotel, ice cream and the list goes on. this is a one stop shop for having a good time or going out to have some fun. some things to pay attention to. coming from a person that using this place to have fun and a lyft driver. this place can get insanely crowded on the weekends and with special events uptown. to avoid the rush come during the week between the hours of 10am-7pm. and during the day on the weekends. on the weekends 8pm-3am IT WILL GET BANANAS! dont even bring your kids or grand parents. youll get a range from homeless to drunk to crazy to party hard and disrespectful walking around and in this place. cops and security are every where in uniform and plain clothes. if has a parking garage under the entire thing. if you park here during a special event leave early, not when the event is over. youll be stuck under ground forever. there is valet for this place and its a traffic battle between them and cabs fighting for space and waiting for fares. the cabs drivers are the worst during the weekend night life here. DO NOT EVEN TAKE church street if yourre coming here at night on the weekends. but it is a fun place to be at.

Epicentre is a great hangout area. Theres wide selection of good eats, from night life eats (Wild Wings for an example), upscale dining (like the Bubble) and even choices for healthy eaters (like Jasons Deli and Grabbagreen). Theres a fair amount of actives, such as bowling and pool (Strike City), evening clubbing, the Studio Movie Grill (dinner, drinks and movie), pool upstairs (SMG), and some pretty good live entertainment. I do wish there was an arcade (like Dave and Busters), or some other activity for adult and family fun. Overall, I recommend the Epicentre for great food, nice entertainment, and hanging out with others.

The movies was Awesome & they validate parking, however only for 4 hour at a time. So if your like me getting out with the kids and watching 2 movies to enjoy the afternoon. After the first movie go get your car leave out the parking deck and go back in to get a new ticket.. they dont tell you that till your stuck there paying an extra $8 after you enjoyed a full 4 1/2 5 hours.. FYI... But overall we enjoyed Wonder Woman & All Eyes On Me, with my mom in from out of town!!!

I give this theater a four today because our cheesefries were a little cold but still good. Been there before to see Kong Skull Island and the experience was better. Food was fantastic that day!!! But since Im rating my experience this time I can only give it a four but the movie Girls Trip was an off the chart rating!!!!! Need more stars for the movie.....Girls Trip is a MUST SEE!!!!! Seeing it at this particular theater is still GREAT though!!!! So go!!!!!!

Love this place and the set up. The spots are dope. I went to several locations and enjoyed them all. Left out of the bowling alley though bc I thought it was a little too pricy for 2 people esp considering Im from Atlanta, and dont even pay nearly as much, but if youre going as a group it may be good for the 45 bucks, oh yeah, and almost everything has a cover charge for nightlife entertainment, usually ab 5 or 10 bucks.

The epicenter is a fun place to hang out. From upscale restaurants and piano bars to quick to go bites and a bowling alley, the epicenter has something for everyone. A good place to take the family or have an evening out with friends later at night. While its outside, most of it is covered. Many events are hosted here and there can be live music sometimes. Parking garages are close by, but valet is also an option.

Tar Heel Camper

This is a great place to spend some time at when you are in downtown Charlotte. It has a bowling alley, movie theater, as well as numerous shops and restaurants. Parking directly at the parking garage right at the Epicentre is expensive, though, so I recommend parking at the parking garage directly across 4th street as I find parking is usually considerably less expensive there.

The Epicenter makes sense! This is the perfect place for those staying in the connected downtown hotels. The Epicenter has a wide variety of dining choices to fit differing tastebuds and varying price ranges. This is also a great place for family and adult entertainment with live music, bowling, and a movie theater. You need never take the car out of the garage!

There is so much to do at the Epicenter: Food, drinks, dancing, bowling. It does get quite packed on the weekends, but I would recommend this as a one stop shop for downtown activities both during the day and mostly the nightlife. Only con is parking on peak nights here is $20, but it is very convenient to have your car so close, and in a monitored parking garage.

It was fun the few times Ive been here. Youre definitely paying a premium for the area though. The bars are all pretty standard. Bubble was nice. Whiskey River is well....Whiskey River. You are paying a PREMIUM for parking. I was in the parking deck 30 minutes for something and I think that cost me about $8. My advice is if you live near the light rail, ride it!

Good for people looking for the nightlife club scene, couples on a date or family nights out the Epicenter has it all dinner and a movie or something to get you wasted with hotels to keep you from drinking and driving. This is Charlottes nightlife Epicenter the name says it all and has parking for the designated driver come have a blast at Charlottes Epicenter.

Perfect place for food and entertainment. Rooftop bars, hookah, rowdy bars, divey bars, nice restaurants, and casual resturants. Has a five guys, bowling, movie theater (that you can dine and drink in, but I dont reccomend the food). Lots of parking paces, elevator, escalator and stairs. Best latenight spot, red eye diner for sure.

Used to feel safe here 3 or 4 years ago..would even take my kids to catch a movie and eat at night. Last time I went we seen a couple having sex in a car in the parking lot. Also was the constant smell of marijuana ( not judging ) in the air..wont take the kids here anymore.

We love coming here to the epicenter. We for about one time a year and every year theres more and more to do and see. The only reason why k gave it 4 stars is bc they really really need public bathrooms along the inner walkways out side of the entertainment and stores.
