We sat for at least 30 minutes waiting on our sandwich order. Meanwhile, the table next to us, who sat down about 5 minutes after we did, received their sushi appetizer and then their main course. Still waiting! We finally told our waiter we needed it to go and didnt have time to wait any longer. It took another 5 minutes or so to receive our bill and bagged up lunches. Even if we had not asked for it to go, by the time it was brought to us, we would have had to gulp it down. We dont work far from Park Road but by the time we got back to the office, my sandwich bread was soggy. It was also quite small for the price. Neither of us was impressed with the taste and after having to wait so long to get it, it definately wasnt worth it. The only apology we received from the restaurant was a simple sorry. Really? Well, were sorry too and I can assure you we wont be back.

Park Road Shopping Center is my favorite shopping center in Charlotte, which may seem like weird praise (who likes shopping centers?) but this one feels vintage and really functions in a powerful way for the community. I also feel like the experience is probably quite similar to what it would have been like back when it was new. The sign helps a lot, and there are some *fantastic* stores and restaurants in here. I go almost every day!

Very friendly staff that go out of the way to help you find what you are looking for. In addition they really know how to put a smile on your face with something as small as conversation while multitasking by quickly ringing up your items. My favorite thing about this location is the access that one has to fresh organic produce with reasonable prices.

This is a most excellent shopping area in Charlotte. It has a wide variety of businesses and restaurants. All of the places here are well kept and diverse in their offerings. This is a spot you can go to in the morning for brunch, and spend a whole day browsing books, shopping, getting errands done, have dinner, and finish with some drinks or gelato!

Lots of nice new shops and restaurants and some attractive upgrades to the facility. Blackhawk Hardware is very nicely appointed and has a beautiful garden center. Several nice restaurants at varying price points, a Harris-Teeter, a movie theater, a bookstore and bakery round out just some of many amenities.

-Quite a few places to eat in the area. The ones I have gone to have been pretty good. -The Harris Teeter is pretty standard. -I have yet to go to the bike shop in this area but I hear good things and it looks nice. -The Michaels is kind well--ok? It wont blow your mind. It also has an odd layout.

What can be said? This is the rare almost extinct type of classic shopping center that still have local and small chain stores; including just about everything you could possibly need from a real bricks and mortar locally owned book store to restaurants, post office, drug and grocery store, etc.

Id heard wonderful things about their burgers but my companion and I couldnt rate the food much above average. However, the owner- who used to work there as a waitress, I understand - was very friendly, hands on, and helpful. Very clean and comfortable place to stop in for a quick bite.

There is so much here to love! Dont forget to find your way around back to Sir Edmund Haileys and other hidden treats. You could spend two days exploring the wonderful stores here. Many are slightly pricy but there are plenty of down-to-earth places like Sir Eds & Blackhawk Hardwear.

Seems like something changes here every week. Its turning into a good shopping and eating location. Good shopping options too. Youve got Cantina 1511, the movie theater, Blackhawk hardware and Sir Edmond Halleys as well as a couple of newer restaurants, a bakery, book store, etc.

Shopping center overall is great and conveniently located. It includes several restaurants- Chopt(salad), Cantina 1511(Mexican) Salt (raw bar.) There is also a Harris Teeter, Blackhawk hardware and a few clothing stores, a book store and coffee shop. Tons of great easy options.

Went to Cantina 1511. Food was really great service was really good took a little while because they had some problems in the kitchen but they made up for it in the quality of the food. Waitress was super nice and so is the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend it

Great spot for shopping and dining and they are always improving. Hit Suarez Bakery for your morning snack, grab a salad at Chopt for lunch, and enjoy RockSalt or CO for dinner. Free popcorn in the BlackHawk ACE hardware store... and amazing garden section.

Love this place. One of the last places to still have some charm left and not your standard vanilla stucco highly developed condo/shopping center. Be sure to check out the gelato place in the middle of the parking lot. Awesome!!

Old school strip mall with wide open, easy to maneuver parking lot. Surprisingly selection of stores including some very unique ones. Fairly easy to get in and out of, even during busy traffic (stoplights at most entrances/exits).

Quaint little local shops for the most part. An island in the sea of same box storefronts that are everywhere in the us. Blackhawk is the prime reason I visit. They almost always have an answer to what every I need.

Despite its age (this was one of THE places to shop way before all the malls showed up in the 70s-and still is), plenty of cool places to shop, lotta variety. Some big names, but also a few smaller venues, as well.

This shopping center opened in the mid 50s. It has a great vibe, and a real sense of community, and now it even has Amelies! It has been recently remodeled. This is the hub of our community Montford Park.

All the best shopping places! If you cant find it here, you might not be able to find it! Park Terrace Movies are the best anywhere in Charlotte. Blackhawk Hardware cannot be surpassed but its pricey!

I used to live right down the road from Park Road Shopping Center. Pretty much everything you could possibly need - all in one place. There are some really good restaurants and bakeries here as well.

Depends on where you visit in the shopping center. ACE hardware store, Cantina, bike shop, Harris Teeter and Michaels all together. We are here pretty much every weekend for shopping or eating.

Small shopping center in a very busy part of Charlotte. It is always crowded. Hard to find parking. Hard to get in and out of. There are some really good stores here but prices are a little steep!

I love this shopping center. It really has just about everything you could need. Groceries, drug stores, restaurants, clothiers. I miss living blocks away from this shopping center!

Great updated plaza, with more new stuff opening what seems like every month. Do NOT miss the "Backlot" of the plaza as there are great spots for food or just to hangout with friends.

The best shopping center in Charlotte. Good restaurants, diverse shops, and a grocery store. A huge neighborhood resource. And if youre plucky, you can ride a bike to get there.

If you have to have it now, then go here and watch the crazy drivers - they will run you over. You would think the 500 speed bumps would slow them down. Head on a swivel.
