Wish I had spoken to some of my neighbors and read the reviews before doing business with Prisco. They showed up at my house with some base A/C model (which I thought $1350 was an awful lot for such a basic model) and when I checked their website while they were there, I found out the REGULAR price listed on the website (not sale price) was $50 cheaper then what they offered it to me. To add insult to injury, underneath the regular price it says in bold red "call for best pricing." I guess going into the store gets you the quote that is the regular price + an additional amount for your troubles commuting in!!! Then they came in and only half installed it and left without a date to come back to finish. I got the run around when questioning their pricing on the web vs the quote I received so one would think that they would come back with their "best price" but no, they just finally agreed to match the regular price on the web. So being the savvy shopper that I am (ok so up until now I just had been an uninformed shopper and regret that so lesson learned -- no matter how busy you are do a little research) I went someplace else and purchased the rest of my ACs for MUCH better pricing with actually more advanced models that rated better. I asked Prisco to come pick up the one they left half sticking out of the sleeve in my living room wall but that took about 3 phone calls to get resolved. Now 2 months later the full price of my original order still sits on my credit card. I have called 6 different times to the sales guy and owner as well as having to question billing twice because I originally ordered 3 ACs and although they credited me for the two I did not take, they didnt credit me for the installation on the 2 that were returned/never delivered. Guess they thought they would try to pull another fast one on me. So I have turned this over to the credit card company to resolve with them but after all of this how could I NOT put a review out on this so called appliance store in an effort to warn others from their business practices.

Crooks. I bought a TV there, paid for installation. They initially wanted to charge me $750 and when I told him Verizon was already set up he dropped it suddenly to $500. That should have been his initial question, no? He told me it was a big job because the installation guy was a pro and he could make sure that the set top box was hidden and it would take a while but look great. I showed him pictures of the wall on which I wanted the TV mounted. He assured me no problem, it would get done. I should have smelled a rat when he dropped he price from $750. Anyway the installation guy comes around, first thing I do is confirm he will hide the box. "Im just here to mount the TV, not hide the box." He installs it within an hour then fiddles around for 30 minutes because he cant figure out how to get sound of the Verizon box, apparently hed never worked with Verizon. I called Nick Prisco to ask what he planned to do about my box not hidden, at least give me some money back. He is MIA. I call the next day and the next and the next and finally catch him. He tells me he will check with the installation guy. Never calls me back. I call twice, get him again, he says he will sort and call me back. Guess what? Phone lines must be dead in Tarrytown. At least pay me the courtesy of telling me to f*** off. I know Best Buy gets a lot of stick, but I will never go back and hope they go under for heir shoddy practices. I realize its buyer beware and I was too trusting (or stupid or rushed), but nevertheless its because of guys like this that one has to be suspicious in the first place.

For almost ten years now, Ive been a Prisco customer. Perfect? No. But is everything remedied quickly and professionally? Yes! You wanna know about prices. I always call Prisco first to get an idea. Then I call around...and I wind up right back at Prisco. I just had my new fridge put in. They beat the nearest competition by $500. And this installation was anything but smooth. It turns out there wasnt sufficient room to remove and replace the fridge, but Prisco had a guy. He showed up at 8 the next morning to do the necessary carpentry to enlarge the doorway and prep the space. The fridge went in shortly thereafter. As I type this (later the same day), the carpenter Prisco gave me is putting the molding back up on my doorway. Seriously, go with Prisco.

THESE CROOKS WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! They tried to steal my security deposit under the guise of 119 Lincoln Ave LLC. Michelle and Nick Prisco scam innocent tenants by stealing their security deposit over irrational statements in their lease agreements! Beware of them asking for two months security from this slum lord! Unsafe conditions that lead to a fire in the laundry room! Mice in the apartments! Subpar insulation! Leaking pipes with black mold! The PRISCOS ARE LIARS WITH NO ETHICS OR MORAL COMPASS!! The only way I got my money back was to TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau

Ordered a grill and paid for it. Was told last Saturday delivery. They never showed up and never called us to say why. So eventually we called them and they said it never made it on the truck. No apologies. Several phone calls later and they finally just delivered our grill. Guess what? They forgot the cover. They didnt forget to charge $80 for the cover, though! So I called the receptionist (who is incredibly rude) and she said they will come back with it. No apologies. Maybe they will, maybe not. Maybe next week, maybe in a month--not likely today, though, based on my experience with their customer service.

Competitive prices for quality products with a team that are great at selling and installing. Ive recommended them to friends and neighbors alike for the past 2o years. With that said, weve only had one problem with an clunky AC unit, a small enough problem to remedy. Sadly Prisco has totally screwed this up, drawn it out, provided some of the poorest service Ive received in recent history. Folks, if you sell something but cant commit to servicing it then become an online business and set the right expectations along with every miserable big box scam artist. From this point on i stop recommending Prisco.

I ordered a wine refrigerator. It was delivered in a box. What a surprise when I unpacked it--it was crushed on several corners and the door was torn off. Clearly had been dropped more than once. I called to complain and was told they would come pick it up the following Saturday and bring a new one. Waited all day, no one showed up. Left a telephone message. No call back. Today I brought the broken fridge back to the store. Not even an apology. I have never bothered to write an online review before but this service was so abominable I felt I had to warn others. Buyer beware.
