Let me just preface this extremely BAD review by saying I have been a faithful PC Richards customer for over 30 years. This past Labor Day I purchased a new GE refrigerator with service contact for $799. I made one stipulation that I wanted a left hand door.My sales person Amit says "no problem". On the day of delivery, my old refrigerator was removed and replaced with our new one which had a right hand door. I told the delivery man that this is not what I ordered and showed him the sales receipt specifying a left hand door. He says - no problem Ill tell them back at the store and theyll send someone out tomorrow. Of course, that did not happen so I call the store get my sales man Amit and explain what had happened. Amit says "Im sorry, I will take care of it" and we set up a date the following week for the repair. This got cancelled, and we set up yet another date the following week when a GE repairman comes to my house and takes a look at my refrigerator and says "We dont do this - Ill have to charge you $137 dollars to do this". I say Im not paying $137 for something I ordered so he walks out. I call Amit again he says hes sorry and hell get back to me. This goes on and until finally I think we have some coming to replace the handle when "Natalie" from PC Richards calls to confirm the repair date and then says"By the way theres a $27 fee that needs to be payed when the repair is finished. This is when I lost it... THIS IS THE LAST THING I EVER BUY FROM PC RICHARDS!!!! To set the record straight i would like to amend this terrible review by saying the manager called me back to offer his apology for the bad experience we had with this purchase. He also offered as compensation a generous discount for our time lost trying to straighten out the mess.

I called as early as 8Am because I was panicking since the frozen foods in my refrigerator ( 4 years old) were getting soft although my refrigerator shelves were still cool. Mr. Ivan Rodriguez answered the phone not knowing it was my lucky day because he knows about and I mean he knows about refrigerators. Since my son has his own place the fridge is only for me and my husband, but I was prepared to go all out for latest technology I saw at my sons luxury building. I said I want the best and and I was even talking about subzero. Politely, did not argue with me and later I understood his points. He took me to each and every high end ( thats what I asked for) and explained the pros and cons including the size of my c0-op front door , the size of my kitchen entrance and the dimensions of the former fridge space. After learning it was just for me and my husband and I no longer hold big parties like I used to and the limitations of the space that I have and the far distance between my sink and the fridge space. He narrowed it all to the essentials, saving me a lot of money without denying me of my wish for the latest computerized technology in a fridge, space , comfort, aesthetics and practicality. He thought me to buy based on what I needed. We have been using it for 4 days now and we are all excited about how easy it is to find what we need. I love the most the pull out bottom freezer with compartments. Not to forget the double door feature gives my husband all the time he wants to leave door open as he decided what he wants to get without affecting the other side. Of course, he gets the alarm whenever the door is open for too long . At times I feel that I need a sweater on when I open it. Its cold alright. ... LOL.

Ive been to this PC Richard & Son several times, 2-3 times last year and one time today. The first time I went, it was great. Fast checkout, great price on two heaters. A few days later, I tried to checkout the same thing quickly and a floor saleswoman offered to check me out while I was waiting on the cashier line. Downhill experiences from there. These sales people are the reason I wont be going to this PC R&S anymore. Itll be Best Buy or Amazon if I have time. So that saleswoman tried to check me out and entered a price that was $5 (~15%) higher. When I checked out at the cashier, the advertised price automatically showed up. Why did she have to enter a price that was higher? I had to point out the giant pile of heaters near the entrance and the advertised price. Today, I tried to buy another heater (one broke, ones still alive from last year). I was about to checkout at the cashiers when a salesperson approached me and the cashier got him to "help" me. When I asked was there a reason they couldnt check me out, or if they were not cashiers (they obviously were), he said "I dont know". How does he not know??? He was just talking to them, they work on the same floor, same company etc etc. THEN he had to enter soooo many things, and asked me for my phone # (address next?) which I didnt give, because it was obviously not necessary. Then he tried to sell me another lie, which was "the information was because I knew you would use a credit card." I have NEVER had to give my phone # to use my credit card- zip code I would happily comply with. Ive checked out 50+ items at target faster than trying to get one $25 item from this store. Theres no feedback or survey on the receipt either, so I dont expect any of this to change anytime soon.

Horrible . Dont take a chance. Be aware of the sales persons in this place who are only out there looking to make a commission and having you buy things at any cost. I went and bought a 60" television thinking I was getting 12 month at 0 interest. Not only did I not get the 0 percent interest, but I discovered on the reciept that all flat screan TVs are "none exchangable, returnable and non refundable". This is even if you go the very next day without even taking the TV out of the box. So you cant even have a change of mind . If I would have known this prior to purchase I would not have ever made the purchase there. The sales person told me to sign that I am not taking a warranty while he was also making me sign an agreement that I fully understand the return policy regarding flat screan TVs. He never mentioned this policy at all to me. This policy is not written at all in their store next to the TVS where a customer can see it. You will discover it after the purchase is made. So even though I wanted to return the TV because I wasnt getting the 0 percent interest for 12 months causing an affordability issue for me, I came to discover that the return policy just simply wouldnt allow me. What type of return policy is that. They open the box to check for damages during purchases and then claim that because the box has been open therefore it is not returnable. So everyone be aware before buying flat screan TVS from PC Richards. I would rather spend the same and go to another store with a better return policy that is flexible and gives you an opportunity to have a change of mind or just decide you know what I dont want it, need it, let me return it without opening the box of course.
