Since they arent Verizon they dont really have any good insight into the workings of the contracts. Several times I have gone there and the sales representative has been confused about our account, or unable to get a new line added in the requested fashion even though I had asked if it was possible previously and they said that it was. The last time I went there, I asked if a single line plan could be changed to a family plan and they said that it could (without any charges). It cant. Worst of all, they tried to hand me a receipt that clearly showed that the new phone had been put on a separate plan (costing an additional $40 a month instead of just $10 more for a family plan line) and hoped that I would just sign it without paying attention. When I told them that this wasnt what I wanted the sales associate mumbled for a bit, called someone else over, and told me that the problem was fixed. When I got my bill this month, it was for two lines on a new "Share Everything" plan and it cost me $100 a month as opposed the $70 they swore it was going to cost me. Essentially they are willing to lie just to make a sale. Do. Not. Trust. These. People.

Im 60+ years old, and somewhat technology challenged. Today I went to this Verizon store, I wanted to get rid of one smart phone and get a Samsung Note. I called them (Brandon) prior to going to 1 make sure they had one in stock, he checked and said yes. Then I explained that my contract was actually up tomorrow, but I had an extremely busy schedule, could I come in today and get the same offers that I would get tomorrow. He said Yes. Hurray!!! I took my old Apple (shudder) and my Samsung Tablet. He did it all transferred data, explained everything, he was great. He also made sure my phone and tablet talk together. Im sure Ill have issues in the future, but he assured me he wasnt going anywhere. Recommend "THIS" store strongly, I was not just a checkbook or number. Thanks Brandon.

To be honest, this isnt the best form to explain my experience on. Truly my time inside this store should be shared over a candlelit dinner in a venetian villa, or on top of a rocky faced mountain. But seriously my main man Killian hooked me up legit. His ability to lend insight into the inner fabric of the structure that is Verizon, while totes broing out with me and straight up chilling was as natural as it was chill. Like Clint Eastwood on a horse with a 6 shot. I cant wait to start a kickball team next summer just to come back to this store and ask Killian to join. Potential team names: flat footed wireless, HTC fireballz, Get in the VeriZone. Good place for phones and help too.

I just read the previous 2 reviews while I was looking up the hours to the location. I was a bit hesitant to stop in. However it is a Saturday of a holiday weekend so I didnt want to wait until Tuesday to go to another location. I only needed to swap phones on my account. My current phone was having issues to I bought a phone online as I was mid-contract. I didnt have high hopes as this wouldnt make anyone any commission. I was really surprised by how nice the associate was and helped me out right away with no problems. Not sure if the other reviewers just dealt with lesser employees or what, but I had a fine experience. I was in and out with exactly what I needed to have them do.

I came here to upgrade my phone. The customer service was great. My sales rep was Philip, who was very professional and friendly. He made me feel welcomed. He didnt rush me at any step, didnt aggressively try and push me to buy things I didnt want or need, and went the extra mile to make sure my phone upgrade was a smooth transition. He was insightful regarding what model phone had the best technology and how to set up my phone case and screen protector. He transferred my info from my previous phone and applied for the rebate I qualified for. He even showed me how to get a discount off my bill because of my employment. I highly recommend this business.

by far the worst service ever, do not go here, they are liars and will sell you anything to get their commission on sales, BUT as long as you sign the "customer agreement" (even if they told you something different and even if you have what they told you in writing) they wont do anything to help your situation, sketchy sketchy people who just didnt make the cut at the real Verizon store... even had someone tell us we could return something to fix our bill but two days later the story changed because "that person was being fired anyway" go to the real Verizon...these people are ass....I wouldnt have given them a star but I had to in order to post this

I have been with verizon over 10 years, and every time we walk into the store my family I always dread it. We have had decent experiences but normally theyre awful. We have always been pushed into plans and phones. We then just went to get a phone and drop lines. Luckily we go Andrew on transit road in east Amherst. He had phenomenal customer service skills and knows all his stuff. Instead of pushing us on a plan he weighed out our options to get the most valuable for my family. I almost considered switching to AT&T as well but after today Im sticking with verizon wireless and making sure I get Andrew every time and no one else.

I was looking for a new phone and the other stores I went to made it difficult and confusing to look into another phone. Jabari went out of his way to make sure I understood completely. I am older so I need things slowed down. I got my first smart phone and feel very comfortable. I am writing this because I got my phone a few weeks ago. Jabari has called me twice so far to make sure everything is okay and seeing if I had any questions. No one has ever done that which impressed me. By those actions I had to share my experience ive had with this young man. Thank you jabari for helping me and making it seemless.

Had to replace my Samsung S7 phone when it crashed and would not turn back on. I received excellent service from Dave to help reactivate and old phone temporarily. When I can back with the warranty replacement phone Robert set it up and walked me through each step to make sure all of my information came over. He went out of his way to find a screen protector for me at another store as this location did not have the one I was looking for in stock. I would highly recommend this Verizon store (university ave) and both of the gentlemen who assisted me.

This review is specifically for the Cellular Sales Smartphone Repair Center. I came in when it opened at 9AM Saturday as my charger port was broken. The woman working told me to come back at noon and it should be done by then . I returned at noon and had to wait an additional hour because the Android repair person did not come in until noon. Besides the wait, the repair person chipped the paint behind the glass on the phone. When I said something to the woman working in the front, she copped an attitude with me. Never ever going there again.
