My boyfriend & I met w/ a rep & finance on Sun. I said I owed $ on my current van & my online account stated the balance. She asked for bank contact info & I would hear from them in the a.m. I secured a loan at a lower rate & left message re: approval & seeking what to share w/ bank. He said I was set & to take purchase order to bank as it had all info. I went to Vanderstyne in p.m. w/ kids & check, but without boyfriend. No privacy rooms available & we sat in middle of display room. He looked at 2 purchase orders & said there was a different amount listed on Suns purchase than Mons for amount owed on loan. They wrote what I reported as my closeout amount & bank said it was a different amount. I explained how when I spoke with both the dealer & finance on Mon I was told I was set & to submit the pink sheet to bank. He said there was nothing they could do & I needed to pay the difference. I said this wasnt my error. I asked to speak to manager. He went to backroom & said there was nothing he could do. It took awhile & manager said they went by my report of the closeout. I said it was a balance not a closeout & was lead to believe the dealership would be taking care of final #s. He stated I was wrong & shouldnt be upset w/ them but w/ bank. They sell cars everyday & know what to expect & I dont so I didnt know it was my responsibility to get closeout when I was lead to believe it was already taken care of & every car I purchased the dealership handled the closeout loan. I said to print off new order form so I could leave. I said I will be writing about my experience on social media. I was approached by JJ Vanderstyne who raised his voice that I will not threaten his employees. He cont to berate me stating I was threatening. I tried to explain the situation so he had my version instead of what rep shared w/ him. He said I was dishonest bc I lied about loan. I tried to explain I gave my balance & not closeout amount & he aggressively yelled at me for not letting him speak. I told him I didnt need to hear him explain bc no one was listening to my concern. He cont to be rude, aggressive & disrespectful. I said I felt deceived & he replied no one was deceitful & I was dishonest. I said he was entitled to his opinion & I wanted to complete the transaction so we could leave. My 11 yr old was upset & said she didnt understand why he was yelling. My 7 yr old cried & asked if we could leave. I was in shock & cried out of anger. Due to my ignorance, I completed the sale. I didnt know I could bow out of secured loan since I had a check. 2 employees stood there & watched him berate, accuse & embarrass me & did nothing. They watched my daughter & I cry & never even offered a tissue. The rep showed me how to work the electronics & stated I had 3 months free Sirius & to call & give them purchase info & I would be set. Sirius rep said the dealership has to contact them. I paid the bill. Mr. Vanderstyne if youre reading this, I hope your wife or daughters arent treated by another the way you treated me. I hope your children never have to witness you be treated in that manner. At any point you could have asked to speak to me in private, apologized for the error or simply listened to what my concerns were instead of calling me dishonest & make accusations. You could have come out when I asked for a manager to hear my concern instead of having your salesman be the middleman. If you had handled things differently, I wouldnt be warning others of you. Youre in the business of selling cars & when youre asked if youre all set to share info w/ bank to secure a loan, your staff should ensure they have the RIGHT purchase order form. This wasnt my error, but I paid the unexpected $556 & for Sirius bc of my ignorance of not walking away from the deal. I contacted corporate in hopes you & your staff can receive training in people skills. Congratulations on taking what we hoped to be a positive experience & making it a terrible one.

I am a king of person normally do not complain, I just no go back and not make noted; but in this case I stop and spent my time for help other for not choose Vanderstyne Toyota for fixing your car. I have two Toyota and I am a kind the person like to keep my cars under good condition of maintenance in special because very day I use to travel to other city for working ; so any way I have a lot the services of maintenance to do. I frequently has do visited this dealer on Saturday and never had any complain in special because there are one “ jap “ and he has made a great services but in one specific Saturday he was busy and a your man came to me to assistant and take my car. When I told I like to change the oil and fix an issue in the belt he make a rude and superficial exams and told me “we don’t have this components here we can’t do this today; without check the computer for pieces! Than I have asked “- you a big dealer and how you don’t have a safety item here? I can’t come here only for change oil I need to fix this safety issue. He says “have a nice day “. Do you think I will go back? To this place ? Do you think on the next time I will change a car I will buy anything in this dealer ?

Scott Sweeting is a great salesperson. He took the time to help educate me on the "song and dance" of what the other dealership that I had been interacting with was doing to financially take advantage of me. He communicated clearly, wasnt pushy and his follow through on what he promised was 100%. Scott is knowledgeable, friendly and able to deliver on the car that I desired without manipulating me in any fashion. As a single woman, buying a car is overwhelming and stressful. Scott made the process so simple that there are not enough words to express how appreciative I still am. Thanks Scott for your time, patience, guidance and for selling me my new 2016 RAV4 Limited Hybrid!!!

I love this dealership since I bought my car back in April from Scott. He was a good rep! He made my purchasing of a car quick as he knew I was ready to buy a car that day. I got a service done yesterday. Not only did they do my oil change and check some other things but they filled my windshield fluid and washed my car! I NEVER got that at Kia Fucillo where I bought my last car. The only reason I put 4 stars was because I did not get some of my original paperwork when I signed my car. I was so excited that I didnt even ask for it when I left. I end up getting a copy of the paperwork in the mail after I called twice. OVERALL BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD!!!
