My dishwasher spray arm broke and Frigidaire warranty dept called G&G to come out and take a look even though I told them i can visually see it is in fact partially melted. The spray arm seems to have fallen off and got stuck on the heating coil. G&G has been great so far. Very courteous cust svc who called me with next day availability and showed up when they said they would. Even gave me the requested "be there in 30min" reminder. Great cust svc really goes a long way. Waiting on the replacement part which should take about a week. Will update this review at that time. Update: Had an appointment Fri 1-4pm which was confirmed that morning by the automatic dialer. I was happy to know that the repair guy was definitely coming. It was getting late so I called 4x after 3pm to get an idea what time the repair guy was heading over but no one answered. Weird since they are open till 5pm. I even left messages on the answering machine. So I waited till 5pm in case the repair guy was just running late. After all I called off from work for this repair. No one called to let me know that the repair guy was not coming which made me very irrated. Called Sat and still no answer, although I got an automatic dialer rescheduling me for Monday. I called Mon to express my irritation and let them know I have to take another day off for the repair. Was rescheduled for 9am Tues. By 9:15am when no one showed i called the office and they said they rang my bell but no one answered. This is a lie cause I was waiting just for them. The repair guy came back in 15min made the necessary repair and left quickly. Due to the lack of respect for my time I wont ever use these guys again.

Was initially pleased when I called on Monday and they scheduled for a Friday to fix my washer; managed to accommodate my preference for an afternoon appointment, booking me for the 2-5 timeslot. That was the last positive moment I had with these jerks. Didnt hear a thing until just before 4pm, at which point dispatch called and said the technician was stuck in traffic downtown but was on his way. At 4:15, the technician called and started asking me questions about the washer and then insisted hed need me to remove the dryer from on top of the washer (news to me! couldve told me when i made the appointment) which is all well and good if I were physically able to lift that much weight (considering Im a woman and NOT a bodybuilder). Had to ask my building handyman for a favor to get him to take the dryer off, which he did. 5:15 dispatch called again to say that he was still stuck in traffic, but would be there within the hour. 6 pm rolls around and nothing...tried calling the dispatch, the technician, again and again...finally at 6:20 I get the technician and he tells me hes still stuck in traffic but then he changes his tune and says "oh, Im not coming. its after 6, youre going to be rescheduled". So now Ive got my washer-dryer dismantled, the dryer sitting in my living room, and a (still) broken washer. It was all basically lies - it doesnt take 2 hours to get from Union Square to the UWS, even in the worst of traffic. Possibly the worst service and disorganization I have ever seen. Im disgusted and will be lodging as many formal complaints as I can. These hacks should NOT be a Frigidaire preferred vendor.

DO NOT EVER CONTACT THIS COMPANY FOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! They are the MOST unprofessional service company that I have ever TRIED to work with in my entire life. First of all, you sit on hold for over an hour, be told that you are the next caller AND THEN GET SENT TO VOICEMAIL. This is not just during a busy time of day, this is EVERY time you attempt to contact them. If in the rare occasion that they do pick up, they laugh at you when you ask for a specific time frame within the day because you have a job (when theyre only open during working hours so this should not come as a shock). The first scheduled appointment we had, we were stood up because apparently the technician called out and they did not call to reschedule. He surprisingly showed up for the next appointment that we manually had to make and needed to order a part which took about a week. I had to actively call to make the follow up appointment and then we got stood up 3 MORE TIMES which is 3 more times that we had to take off from work to wait around for NO ONE. We even call to check and make sure that someone is coming, which we are promised someone is on their way to our apartment, and then they no call no show. Each time this happens we get an automated message rescheduling us for the next business day instead of a personal call to apologize or even ATTEMPT to work around our schedule. I will never try to work with this company again as they showed that they do not give a single care about their customers or even basic customer service, like returning a call.

I asked that G&G repair my oven which was not igniting week before Christmas and was concerned it would be done for the holiday. Technician came but had no oven igniter part in his truck as he had "given it to a previous client". This seemed an oversight as the reported problem directly related to this part. A follow up was scheduled for 2 days before Christmas--very much an emergency as I was to to cook a big dinner for guests. Companys rep in MINNESOTA breezily called the day before to "reschedule" until after Christmas as the techniican was sick!! I could not reach G&G at all after this cancellation even calling them to beg for assistance. Minnesota rep called again and arrogantly argued with me, interrupting me when I told her my difficulty and that I had asked them about Christmas urgency in the very beginning.... This was unacceptable!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this unreliable company : G &G Appliance Repair.

Worst company ever! 1. They never answer their calls. 2. They put you on long caller queue. At the end of the queue, they just send you to the voicemail. 3. They dont bother to call you back. 4. When you finally get them on the phone to schedule an appointment, they unilaterally changes the date and time of the appointment. 5. When the schedule time comes, they dont show up for the appointment. 6. When they finally decide to the show up, they dont know what they are doing and cannot actually help you fix your appliance. G&G is part of the Electrolux (Frigidaire) warranty scam. The reason why G&G continues to stay in business is because Electrolux (Frigidaire) pays them for the pretend service. Neither Electrolux or G&G has any intention of fixing your appliance. They just want you to buy a new one and buy another warranty!

Terrible experience. The guy came first time to fix my Electrolux washing machine, said that he will order the parts and come in a week. He showed up 2.5 weeks later and after 2 min of looking at the machine he said that it is unrepeatable do to the structural damage. Duh!!! Did not you see it the first time 3 weeks ago!!?!?!? Moreover, instead of reporting that the machine is unrepeatable they reported that they fixed the machine to Electrolux and it took me another 3 weeks to have other technician come over and making a new report and another week for electrolux to replace the machine!!! I am in NYC not somewhere in the middle of nowhere!!! RIDICULOUS SERVICE!!!!!! UPDATE: I have contacted Electrolux CEO and COO asking them to stop their relationship with this company.
